I unfortunately picked up Bravely Default 2 again (I bought it back when it released) and then started over since I last played it in June 2021. And. You know what. I like these silly beans. And then I saw concept art for Dag's expressions and I am not the same. Why did they decide to give him huge fangs in it.

ok well i’ve been rewatching v3 lately and i’ve been Noticing a ton of tenko & kokichi interactions that are so fun. likeeee the part in trial 2 where tenko just kept interrupting kokichi? and then goes “mm no i wasn’t”? tell me that isn’t the most petty sibling shit ever (i have visualized it for you)

Carries sticks of gum with him the entire game and runs out at chapter 4. he is BIG fan of bubble gum. real reason he was so upset that chapter wasn’t because of the motive or miu trying to kill him it was because he ran out of bubble gum /j)

This interaction between Aoi and Hanako single-handedly brought me to pieces T-T

As a writer, I try to avoid answers like that when I ask myself what one of my characters would like about their partner/s so that it doesn't accidentally come off as lazy or give the impression that the character doesn't actually have an answer.

However, with Hanako, despite the uncertainty in that answer caused by the question mark, he was being sincere and said this because there were so many things to list off.

This is coming from the man who said his favorite thing about someone would be the shape of their fingers

And on that subject, we really don't have to look far to figure out who might fill out this criteria.

(Even with scales her hands look beautiful!!)

Which would also explain why he holds her hands so often, on top of physical touch being his love language.

But to get back on the subject, I genuinely think Hanako loves everything about Yashiro, even the things about her that annoys him.

Before that question, Aoi shared that she hated how overly nice to others Akane was, but she also loved that about him.

Hanako could say the same thing about Yashiro. He hates how she always complains when cleaning the bathrooms yet doesn't like it when she's quiet either. He hates how she easily gets tricked by supernaturals or guys, but he would get her out of trouble a thousand times if needs be. He hates that he loves her to the point of going against what he's supposed to do as leader of the seven school mysteries so she can live.
