And then Lilith dies, and Ruby betrays him. And then Lucifer rises. And Sam's staring at this column of light in awe and wonders if this is it.

And somewhere in a shitty motel room in the middle of nowhere he dreams of Jess. And he misses her, he misses her so much. And after the hunters pay him a visit, Jess is in his dreams again. But she's different. Cold. And he and NotJess are talking, and he still believes in hope despite everything. He believes people can change. But NotJess doesn't, and how can she be sure?
