i think the funniest new lore from Pinestar's Choice is that it makes jake basically the same age as Pinestar. Pinepaw meets Jake as a kitten when on a raid in twolegplace, which makes Jake less than a year younger than Pinestar, who was born 16+ years before the start of TPB. Jake's old as balls, he wouldve been 14-15 years old when Firestar and his siblings are born, which is about the same age as Mistystar was when she died. (14-15 years isn't unrealistically old for a real life cat, but in warriors we know that is well beyond the average) no wonder dude was an absent father, he probably keeled over and disintegrated before they were born

I swear I can recall people calling SD!Pizzano a broken toy, which I totally agree with, but honestly? he's more of a ticking bomb.. to escaping this illusion :^D He's the last grip before it all goes down track, that's why SD!Pizzelle has the biggest trouble gaining him by his side. It causes horrible mental damage to Pizzano as he's not just slowly gains back his personality like Pizzelle does, but the two of these mix together, causing his memory overlap and/or loss, and confusion. Spoilers ahead: worry not! It'll be okay in the end. Both of the men are gonna team up to handle new rather difficult circumstances.

serious question, are there ANY (wired) headsets made today anymore that have seperated plugs for audio and microphone??

usb ones always cause trouble and the only other ones i can find are those with combined audio+mic into one plug, which i dont have the ports on my PC for.............

i tried looking through adapters but the only ones i can find are those that combine seperate ones, id need the reverse (if thats even possible)

the absolute lack of awareness and consideration some people have continues to astound me. (personal life rant under the cut)

i live in an apartment complex with a neighbor across the breezeway who regularly plays music so loud i can make out THE WORDS in my own living room

and a downstairs neighbor with a sound system up against the wall so when they watch a movie it vibrates our floors despite us repeatedly going down to ask them to do something about it, be it adjust the bass or move the sound system or just simply turn it down a little (and every time they’re snippy with us about it)

and people who like to gather at the pool right across from our building and play loud music until past midnight ON WEEKNIGHTS

i’m all for people having fun in their homes and enjoying life and music and parties and whatever. but also it takes just a minute to consider that there are other people existing around you and be considerate of them

we've only had our new washing machine for four days and I've already done laundry more times than in the past two years combined 🙃

Sera isn't grumpy so much as she is disinterested and dismissive. She heads to work without bothering to make small talk besides a basic "Hello." if she passes you by. Not the worst outcome, really, if silence doesn't bother you.

Sleeps late? wakes late! #If it's a weekday he will always be up at 6 AM regardless of the amount he slept to take Adra to school. #Eric tends to wake up early but often gets caught up in personal projects. For those of you who enjoyed my notes on what I did with Kermit, here are some things that Zaku has been working on in the three days I’ve owned him:

- Baby impulse control stuff, including:

~~ The crate door will never open until you are quiet and all four feet are on the floor.

~~ I will set you down when you are done wiggling.

~~ Crate door will not open until you are quiet and all four feet are on the floor.

~~ Did I mention the crate door?

- Lots and lots and lots of driving time. He rapidly became a very good traveler.

- Experience staying in a hotel. Lots of elevator rides. Exposure to a wide variety of people and dogs in a wide variety of daytime and nighttime clothing.

- So far of the six dogs I’ve owned/raised, his potty training is coming along the fastest. Warp speed, basically. He came to me litter-trained, and instantly grasped that outside is the potty place. He keeps his crate clean as long as there are no blankies. He can earn back a crate blankie once he figures out they are not for peeing on.

- Integration into the pack is going well. He is extremely brave and is not at all intimidated by the older puppies. He is very good about paying attention to dogs telling him to leave them alone...

- ... But he still has baby brain, so sometimes he says “but I WANT to play with you” and is then removed from the other dog.

- We are learning that grabbing the dachshund and thrashing him is never acceptable behavior. Respecting dachshund and chihuahua personal space is paramount.

- Some fun baby tug and fetch games. Really good handler engagement.

- He’s still small enough that I carried him while taking Kermit for a walk. He’s very good about being carried.

- Trips to two different Petsmarts.

- Introduction to brushing, collar grab, and feet handling. Introduction to laying upside-down in my lap, which is my preferred position for nail trims.

- Need to work on putting his collar on and off. It’s a struggle because he gets very excited and then gets very bitey. Want to officially introduce his harness rather than just shoving it on him. Also need to see if I can get him to stay in the little backpack I’m borrowing. He’s currently Kermit-sized but won’t be in a week.

- Vet visit is tomorrow, and we’ll hang out at confo class tonight. Baby “agility” class starts next week-ish.
