    💚 ::   What is your OC's gender identity and sexuality?

gender wise, she's a cisgender female (she/her). sexuality wise, i've never really put a label on her besides mspec — i can't see her wanting to put a label on herself, but she'd probably say bisexual if she had to pick something.

    ✂ ::   What is one of your OC's worst memories?

she has several, but the worst is kind of a culmination of things — basically, it was when her father married her stepmother, lydia, a woman that'd never liked her. she didn't know why because she was only ten years old at the time, but her stepmother always seemed to hate her and her twin sister for no valid reason. perhaps it was because they were kids from a previous marriage, perhaps she felt threatened by them or found them to be burdens... lydia seemed to hate shay the most; she never knew why and she never asked. it was made worse by her father always siding with his new partner, refusing to listen to his daughters about lydia's actions. eventually the girls just lay down and accept it, because anytime either of them said anything, they'd be met with a stern "Akta vad du säger."

i thought this would be an easy one but i sat here for a few minutes KJFGJBKFG i think what i like most is how she carries herself; she doesn't care what people think of her and she doesn't let stuff get to her. sure it's partially an attitude developed out of necessity from the stepmother mentioned in the question above, but still. she doesn't give a fuck what anyone thinks of her and she isn't about to let it get her down.
