This is the painting we chose at the Walker Art Gallery, on 11th November. This is the painting we all agreed on, as there is a lot to talk about.

Rebecca also created a WhatsApp group chat, to discuss our project about anything. This was really useful to use, to help each other out, when we couldn't meet up together. This was used alot.

Then later on the week, we made a plan who is going to do what. I'm (Greta) going to the the formal reading and this blog, Rebecca is doing the iconographocal analysis and George is doing the introduction and conclusion, this includes a look into the artist and context.

12th November

George went into the library, to start his part of our presentation. He chose some books about the artist. The photo underneath shows the books he took out.

A week later, we decided to meet up on the weekend, to go up to the Walker Gallery, to take another look at the painting. This is to look at it with fresh pair of eyes.

Then we all talked about the the story, this painting is based on. The Story of Joseph, Genesis 37-50. We had looked up this story on, and to get our reference one.

I also looked up at this story on youtube, watching a couple of different videos. This is where I had noticed some differences between. We discussed about as a group, what parts of the story is the painting based on, and what else it references. Then Rebecca made an amazing mind-map breaking down the story.

Afterwards, Rebecca took some closer shots of the painting, particularly on things that caught our eye. This is when we noticed details within the painting we didn't see before. For example, the camel, the handle of the crook has a head of a bird, and seashells on the necklace. I made a collage of these close up shots.

26th November.

A week later, we came together at the Liverpool Central Library, to share out notes, and discuss what we have done so far, what we have to moving forwards on with our group work. Also to tie up any loose ends to finish our work this group presentation.

Monday 28th November

Finally, we had the last meet up, before our presentation. Me and Rebecca told George the key aspects of work, so that George can work on his conclusion. Discussed each others work, giving feedback, and a quick run down, in what we are going to say on our presentation.

In the newest discord whooves post are the killer ponies based on Paul Bernado and his wife at the time or is that just a coincedence?

Just a coincidence, didn't really base the killers off of anyone in particular but have a huge interest in true crime so I know there are couples who get off on killing

Red old notes

I'm trying to get characters down for people red will meet. Its all pretty vague at the moment.

In the far future there are the collony of mars. Going back a bit, there are the people who fight the zombie appolopyce, and before that ailen invasion.

She has crews in all of these.

Mars gives her insanly good hospital care, innoculating her against disease, treating brain damage, near beheading damage, anything (and brought the ghost she was talking too back from the dead [she's not sure how they pulled that one]). Also PT, and any learning she needs. For them she is an elite agent, that they train in what they need.

Now the zombie crew and the ailens are very diffrent. Rather then show a degrading human enviorment in the zombie parts, I want to show humanity being unified. Communication, coporation, group skills are strong here. In contrast the ailen crew is the failing of the above enviorment, with corruption, Parinoia and fear being the things that are bringing society as a whole down.

Of course there is going to be people she reluctantly works with too. People who keep her there with threats or callousness.

(If you don't agree, I'll shoot you, and we will see what you think after you've recovered next time.)

And a betrayal that messes her up pretty badly. Yah. What a way to get trust issues. Learning someone you trusted was a horribly bad judgement on your part , by discovering her torture basement after years of feeling safe at her house. And now that you know, you can see it first hand, and learn that not only does this person who is good at getting you out of hospitals is not only a serial murder, but is also turned on by seeing other people in pain. And you just became too victim, as she knows messing up with you means she can try again later.

And latter means she got you out of the hospital and into her house while you were recovering from surgery or something. And so the cycle repeats, until something breaks. I'm thinking of this crazy in modern day.

-yah that's pretty dark. It started with the statistic of being killed by people you know 80% of the time, Then it met Paul Bernado, and Carla Homolka. Well, not being a rapist, or drugging (In this instance.) but being friends with a psychopath. One who's good enough at omitting details, and presenting things, that it's hard to catch the lie. One thing that stuck in my head, was the cement blocks. Also terrifying psychopath behavior. Yah rather than being serial rapists and murderers, this one has sexual Sadism disorder, in addition to psychopathy.

Yah, I'm going to need to research this more, but it will probably involve mutilation, verbal abuse, trophies, being buried alive, and Red knowing she's into it. Umm, let's move on.

There's also going to be hollocoust. At first, she does have people who have her a place to hide, along with Jews. After everyone's hair was shaved (lice) and they were caught, she was taken to Auchwitz with them. Fun times…

Onision & Kai: Kinda like Serial Killers

Kai and Greg have something in common with Paul Bernado & Karla Homolka, two Canadian serial killers. Karla Homolka got her 15 year old sister, Tammy, black out drunk so she could give her sister's virginity to her husband, Paul, as a Christmas gift. He raped her. They both did. Tammy died. Its a little like how Kai groomed Sarah until she was 18 so Greg could have sex with her and take her virgnity...huh. Imagine having something in common with serial killers & rapists.

Highlights of France’s Euro 2020 Qualifiers match against Albania

A weakened France side scored four goals for the fourth time in five Euro 2020 qualifiers as the Group H leaders swept aside Albania 4-1.

Their superior goal difference – four better than Turkey’s and nine better than Iceland’s – is what is keeping the world champions in first place as all three teams are level on 12 points.

The start of the match was delayed by seven minutes as the Stade de France public address system played the national anthem of Andorra – visitors next week – and Albania refused to begin until the error was rectified.

European champions Portugal got their Euro 2020 qualifying campaign back on track with goals from William Carvalho, Goncalo Guedes, Cristiano Ronaldo and Bernardo Silva helping them to a pulsating 4-2 Group B victory in Serbia on Saturday.

The victory lifted the Portuguese to second place in the group on five points from three games, eight behind runaway leaders Ukraine who have 13 from five matches after their 3-0 win in Lithuania earlier on Saturday.

Portugal picked up their first win of European Championship Qualifying as goals from Cristiano Ronaldo and Bernado Silva helped them to a 4-2 win in Serbia

Third-placed Luxembourg and Serbia in fourth both have four points from as many games while Lithuania are bottom with one point from four matches.

Portugal dominated the opening half and Carvalho fired them ahead in the 42nd minute, before Guedes doubled Portugal’s lead with a fine individual effort.
