I saw the truth or dare ask and I decided to make a series bc yes anywho onto the fic

Prompt: The whole server decides to play a famous game called, Truth or Dare, a game of potential romances, foolish dares and invasive truths. Did I mention potential romances?

The sound of laughter surrounded Toaster’s condo, the whole server aimlessly lounged on their plush couch, the soft material digging comfortably into their skin as the atmosphere was lulling them into a potential slumber.

Xyx was having none of that.

It was time to spice things up a bit, potentially metaphorically or in a literal sense. He rose up from his previous position, rising in a manner similar to his feline companion. “ Now, everyone, since we are all gathered here and know each other quite well…”

“ If two years is what you call ‘quite well’ then sure.”

“Now, now my fellow FFXIV enjoyer, though I appreciate your sarcasm, it’s time to liven up this room with a game of Truth or Dare.” His face was decorated with an all too familiar smirk, gaining a few sighs and groans throughout the room. Though the prospect of potential silly dares or revealing truths sounded interesting, the act of getting up seemed like too much of a chore.

“ And whoever chooses the most dares gets to babysit Cat next time.”

Everyone in the room began to form a circle on the plush ivory carpet, the aspect of caring for the cutest being in this earthly realm seemed to awaken everyone’s snoozing soul. Thoughts of petting their majesty, Cat, was truly an honour and privilege. With a dramatic sigh, xyx draped his tall frame over the comforter, muscular limbs dangling as his hand made its way to his forehead.

“Woe is me! My own friends are betraying me for my cat, however shall I live!” With the most dramatic performance they have ever seen, they chuckled at their friends' antics, though they anticipated such a reaction, he never failed to make them smile.

“ Don’t worry dearest xyx. I promise to spend time with you once I win this game.” Y/n’s grin rivalled his own, a silent agreement or perhaps a quiet moment of solidarity was formed between the two.

“ Yea doll? I will be sure to make it worth your while, after all,” slowly his fingers traced their chin, bringing them ever close to his visage as he gazed at their eyes with an unfamiliar look, “ It would be a shame for you to be left all by your lonesome don’t you agree?” His tone dropped a few octaves, a pleasant shiver made its way into their system. They feared their beating heart would betray their thoughts as each pulse seemed to quicken the longer they held one another’s gaze.

Before they could form a reply, the brunette hastily made his way onto the floor, sitting beside his tall companion, Toasty.

“Now then let’s begin shall we?” Before any reply could be heard, June raised their hand up, an urgent matter perhaps, thus they now had the floor all to themself.

“ Before we start, shouldn't we stock up on food and drinks? I mean we will be here for a while.”

Hums of agreement echoed throughout the room, though, now they had to choose two unlucky souls who would bear the burden of providing the necessary nourishment needed for their continuous session.

With silent murmurs of discussion filling the room, debating on who would be the quickest and most efficient duo, it was decided upon Quest and Y/n.

…….

As they walked beneath the pale glaring lights of the gas station, the only location willing to serve the ravenous group, the two picked out bags of chips and sweets, enough sugar to fuel a kindergarten for a week.

“ It’s been a while since I had this much sugar, I truly applaud Toaster for his sweet tooth, practically no one can match it.” His blue eyes were always filled with fondness when he spoke about his friends, the people he truly treasured most swelled his heart with joy.

Though the one beside him made his steady gaze wander and his stomach riddled with butterflies, his heart swelled immensely with such affection he himself couldn’t fathom.

Y/n chuckled at his words, reminded of their companion’s enormous appetite for sugary treats, though, their massive sugar intake surely didn’t make them as energetic as one would expect them to be, such a revelation was truly amusing,

“ Oh! Remember how Lady and Xyx were convinced they could eat more sugar than him and then he proceeded to beat them, their stomachs were aching-” As their eyes and mind were focused on Quest, they failed to notice the stand before them, thus knocking over the complex pyramid of crackers, toppling the perfect shape into a boxy mess.

A hand grabbed their waist firmly, and though it brought them into a tight embrace, the hand’s lock was safe and comforting, reassuring them of their safety with a gentle yet tight squeeze.

“ Are you alright angel? Did you hurt yourself?” His worried blue orbs scanned their frame, inspecting each part of their body with an anxious gaze.

“I’m alright don’t worry, though with you keeping me safe I don’t think I have to worry at all.” A sly smirk entered his vision, though their chest heaved with emotion and undeciphered feelings, their tone remained teasing.

“ Thank you, my knight.” “ Oh! No problem angel, wait no, Y/n! Sorry.”

The two remained embraced for a moment too long, as though afraid to leave each other’s sight. With each passing second, both inched closer and closer, with a passionate hope of something more, the passage of a threshold familiar to their relationship, and into uncharted waters.

“ I’m sorry Sir but could you and your friend move? Someone has to clean these boxes, which happens to be me.” They grumbled beneath their breath, cursing the day they stepped foot into this establishment, murmurs of ‘I’m not paid enough for this’ could be heard.

The two jumped out of the tight embrace, hands pressed against their own bodies as though they were afraid to touch one another for the second time. “I’m so sorry we were just-”

“ Please just go checkout.”

Quickly and quietly they made their way to the cashier, not a word was exchanged between them, not a sound was made till they entered the condo, the silence grew uncomfortable and tense, unspoken feelings plagued their thoughts, they feared to even mention the close proximity they stood minutes ago.

“ Took you guys long enough, we were about to make a bet on whether we would notice any stray collars and messy strands poking out.” The group chuckled at nightowl's comment, though two chuckles were as forced as they could be, attempting to mask the prior events from their mind.

…..

They focused on preparing the snacks, assuring not one piece slipped onto the polished kitchen tiles. Though a few had managed to slip onto the marble counter, they quickly found a home within the confines of their mouth within seconds. Not a trace of the crime was left.

Pale pink hair filled their vision, hands bringing out more bowls, aiding them on their quest to provide nourishment for their friends.

“Thank you for your help Toasty, it was getting a bit lonely snacking on these all by myself.”

He chuckled at their comment, “ I sure hope we won’t have to make another trip to the store because some raccoon decided to feast earlier than others.”

“Hey!,” lightly they smacked his shoulder, earning a smile in return, “ I will have you know the one who provides the snacks gets a right to eat first.”

He raised his brow, laughing lightly at their attempt at an excuse, his shoulders relaxed, his hands mindlessly inching closer to theirs. He truly hadn’t thought of touching them, though, his body couldn’t help but gravitate towards them, as though a force pulled him to them, drawing in his gaze and attention fully towards his companion. His friend. His…

Why didn’t these words feel right? He felt confused, though his mind gestured towards a platonic word, aimed with friendly affection, his heart felt otherwise… Oh no.

“ Hey Toaster! Are you there?” Their waving hand broke his trance, a rosy blush climbing its way onto his pale cheeks. His mind frantically searched for an answer, an excuse for his staring, wait he was staring for a while! No! Panic mode had, unfortunately, activated.

“ I-I, uh, yes?”

If humans had a smaller version of themselves in their minds, it would surely be smacking its face continuously. Slowly he felt a hand brush a strand behind his ear, tucking in the stray pink hair that had once masked his face.

Such a gesture suddenly felt so intimate, so forbidden, so unfamiliar. Though they had done this before, aiding him with his hair malfunctions and issues, this light graze of their fingers upon his cheekbone brought his hairs to a stand. A shiver responding to this foreign touch was felt throughout his body.

“ Sorry, you had a stray hair, I imagine it blocked your view,” slowly they placed numerous bowls into their arms, hoping and praying they wouldn’t fall, “ Well then let’s go feed the other raccoons huh?” Fearing his voice would crack, his head nodding frantically, indicating a yes to their question.

…..

Somehow, to no one’s surprise, nightowl and oniontheif managed to get into another senseless argument about… something. No one was quite sure what prompted their squabbling, all they knew was that it was best if the two separated for a few moments, a necessary peace for a successful game.

As the Toaster and Y/n made their way into the living, they spotted a fuming nightowl jumping out of his seat and making his way onto the terrace, aiming to run from his headstrong opponent, daring not to even think of his name, even the slightest mention could set him off.

Everyone slowly tried to negotiate an agreement for the two, hoping to form an answer to satisfy them both, perhaps they could manage not to further anger one another. Though, they all knew that at this current moment they had to speak with anyone but each other.

As June slowly, went to speak to nightowl, Y/n placed their hand on their shoulder, easing their friend’s mind with a small offering of a gentle smile and pat.

“ Don’t worry I will talk to him, I think oniontheif might need as many potential therapists as he can get, especially considering his current anger.”

Slowly they glanced towards him and proven right, the man was practically fuming, spouting rant after rant sprinkled with cuss words to solidify his fury.

“Yea I think so too…”

…..

As they pushed the terrace door, allowing them access to the spectacular view of the night lights of the busy city. Though the time told a different story, the noises and glowing orbs spoke of the city's high energy, as though it itself consumed the sugary treats they purchased not long ago.

“ Hey owl, I brought you some candy and company? Unless you prefer to be alone, which is totally fine I can-” “ No! I mean no, it’s alright I… I appreciate you being here with me cutie.”

Patting the soft cushion of the couch, they slowly sat beside him, bringing him into a tight embrace, trying to halt his worries and aid his struggles. As he placed his head on their shoulder, a sigh escaped his lips as he took in their warmth and comfort. Attempting to savour their perfume combined with the softness of their skin, fearing they would leave him should his hold loosen even for a bit.

“ Cutie, I-I’m sorry could we stay like this for a bit? I don’t feel quite like talking.”

Tracing circles among other shapes along his back, they hummed in agreement, their hands continued stroking his back, hoping to ease each worry forming in his mind.

The lights decorated their bodies, and the sounds of the city were drowned by each other's warm breaths. He further snuggled into them, each touch felt so comforting, it felt like home. They felt at home. A place of shelter, safety and comfort. Somewhere where he was accepted, where each of his flaws was overlooked by the shine of his virtues.

No one felt quite like this, though June came close to providing this feeling, it wasn’t quite like them. Y/n felt so different and so, warm.

God his stomach fluttered too much.

“Alright then, now that everything is settled, we have snacks, a truce formed between two opposing forces,” Owl and oniontheif glared at one another from a distance, “ we can truly begin this game, may the best win!”

Everyone cheered at Xyx’s words, excited by the prospect of the promised award, babysitting Cat. Lady pulled out her phone excitedly, ready to spice up the evening with a thrilling dare. “ I call dibs on making the first dare!” Her excited shout echoed throughout the condo, earning a few scoldings and shouts in return.

As she spun the wheel on her phone, she anticipated the arrow's target, her target. Each second felt too long, and all feared for their sanity and dignity, till finally, it stopped. A cheerful sound came from the phone, displaying her prey proudly on the screen.

Y/n.

“Oh fuck.” “Oh fuck indeed my friend! Don’t worry, I promise to be gentle. Now then,” With an enthusiastic clap, she began to announce their fate, “ I dare you to kiss…

Sunoo ships that I really love😍

☀️SunSun

I guess, this ship is the most popular one. It all started with "I want to get close to you", then months later, they became closer than expected😊 They are called the Tom & Jerry because they use to bicker and tease each other. Usually, Sunghoon will start it, always teasing Sunoo... But, it seems that he's also the first to compliment Sunoo. He's very attentive, even to the small details. Meaning, he cares a lot. Same way, Sunoo never fails to give Sunghoon compliments. I think, their friendship is so pure, I want to protect it forever.

⚡SunKi

I think, everyone was surprised when we found out how close they really are, especially after the Enhypen & Hi was first aired. They might have formed that bond when they were both in the ground. For me, the way they went up the rank during I-land is so inspirational. And now, they prove that they are deserving of their spot. Anyway, Sunki is actually my first ship. Hehehe. If SunSun is pure, I think Sunki is dynamic. They are like the typical best friends who will fight often, but will make up right away because they couldn't bear to get mad at each other for a long time😅

🌻SunJake

Since they were together since the first day of I-land, I think they are very precious. They also have the same personality based on the test (En-ter Key episode 3), that's why I guess they get along pretty well. I couldn't explain it well, but every time I see them together, I could feel this warm feeling. It's like they are both emitting energy that could warm your heart. They are just so wholesome 💕

🌤️SunJay

I really like that candid photo of them🥺 Anyway, Sunoo often mentions how Jay is always helping him, especially when his troubled. I think, Jay is really the type of person who will always lend a hand to help a friend. And although Sunoo often shows his bright personality, there will still times where his brightness will flicker. And, Jay becomes like his support system. I am not saying that the others are not. But you know, there will really be one person in our life that will make us more steady. If Sunoo is the sun, then perhaps, Jay is his blue sky.

🌸SunWon

Whenever I see them together, I could only say, "aigoo~ these cutiepies"😆 Really, this duo is the cutest, literally and figuratively. You just want to squish their cheeks together. Hahaha. If you're having a bad day, they could definitely brighten up your day.

✨SunSeung

Heeseung used to be my bias wrecker😆 and during i-land days, I really love their interaction, especially when they performed Fake Love. How Heeseung took care of them, and Sunoo said that he's an angel. So, it's very regretful that they have few contents nowadays🥺 But, there's more behind the camera, so I think, slowly, they are building more memories. Together with Sunghoon, they are the chaotic trio. Maybe in the future we will get to see more interaction of them.

In other words, I do believe that Enhypen has a beautiful friendship, so they must protect at all cost! I love how they are taking care of each other. They are still a rookie group, so some things might be awkward for them. But, as time passes by, as they experience a lot of things together, that's when they could build and show their strong bond.

Until that time comes, I'll be with them.

(Anyway, I also like the other ships, but since I'm a Sunoo's bias, only Sunoo ships are mentioned here😅)

So I saw My Hero Academia Season 1 and I'm just... in love with this show. Now I'm thirsty for more Izuocha and I NEED it. Know any fic writers for it, maybe a few fic recs? Do you write MHA fics? I swear, these two are so... perfect.

Summary: "The guy living below me has a really loud alarm clock that always wakes me up at the crack of dawn."---------It's five in the morning and Ochako may be wearing her old, faded, kind of inappropriately short pajamas, but this time it's the last straw. She's going downstairs and she's giving this jerk a piece of her mind........ Except that he's actually really friendly and sweet and Oh No He's Hot.

Literally, this fic is so goddamn cute. Izu writes them so well; it’s fun, heartwarming, and full of that fuzzy goodness izuocha deserves. I rec all her fics tbh, she’s amazing.

Snowed In by theMistake

Summary: A blizzard leaves Ochako stuck at Izuku's home for the night, forcing them both to confront feelings they would have preferred to leave untouched.

This is a soft one, too. It’s got some really sweet moments that will give you the warm and fuzzies, alongside that frustrating JUST KISS ALREADY, DAMMIT! 10/10 must read.

Morning Glories by amuk

Summary: She wonders why those flowers keep climbing, why they reach for the sun if it's only going to burn them.

This is a great post-apocalyptic oneshot! I love this shit, I want more of this shit. Izuku and Ochako trying to survive amidst the destroyed remains of civilization? Hell yes.

One Plus One Does Not Equal a Date (Probably?) by SingingCookie

Summary: The agency Uraraka had been interning for was having a gala and inviting some newer agencies in order to give them the chance to mingle with the other big names. She was fitting in so well at the agency, they even invited her to join in the fun! The Pro-Hero she worked under though recommended she have someone to accompany her to avoid any insistent interactions from other guests.

Izuku was blown away when she relayed the situation to their group of friends and then looked him in the eye to ask if he would mind being her plus one. See? Not her date—her plus one.

Oh my goodness, these two trying to navigate the awkward world of emotions and crushes and dating is so much fun to read. Cookie does a fabulous job portraying Izuku’s inner turmoil and awkwardness and I love it so much. Also throwing out here to read all of Cooki’s stuff, too; they’ve got a ton of great fics!!

Mouth to Mouth by WingSongHalo

Summary: “Did I hear that correctly?” Ashido asked from behind them. “Uraraka didn’t actually need rescue breathing?”“Um,” said Izuku, “that would seem to be the case, yes.”She grinned wider than Izuku thought appropriate, given that one of her classmates had just nearly drowned. “So there was no reason for you to kiss her like her life depended on it?”His mouth dropped open. “Wh—wh—?!”

Izuku saves Ochaco from drowning, and no one will let him forget how he did it. Ochaco, on the other hand, has forgotten, and is convinced that everyone can read her mind since they seem to know about the very interesting dream she's been having.

This fic is amazing. From start to finish it’s fun, witty, in character, and all around a stellar read. It’s hilarious and adorable and I love how they capture both Ochako and Izuku’s inner voice. And the shanigans from class 1A as they tease these two is also fun. Plus, their first kiss? Oh so satisfying. Also gonna recommend their other works, as well here.

Kiss Me by AmyNChan

Summary: It's been seven years since they met. Dreams achieved, Ochako finally says what's on her mind.

They were on equal ground. They were pro-heroes. They had done it. Her dreams had been realized, standing on equal footing with six of her classmates and countless other pro-heroes. And with that realization… with it…“Oh god, I went to confess to Deku-kun.”

“Confess might be too subtle a word, kero.”

While not yet finished, so far this fic is fantastic. Basically, it’s a fun exploration of Izuku and Ochako finally, finally getting together after so many years. Side note, it even has some fantastic Bakugou and Izuku moments that are absolutely golden.

It’s Not a Date!...Right?! by taocastleprincess

Summary: Izuku’s not overthinking it, is he? It was just on the cheek but it was something! Him? Midoriya Izuku? Taking pretty girls out and holding hands and getting kissed?It was unthinkable. Unbelievable. Ochako just said that she loves hanging out with him. To be more accurate, she said she loves when just the two of them are together. Just them. A duo. A pair. She loves that. Him and her. Her and him. Maybe she even loves hi—well, okay. This is exactly what Iida told him not to do. He told him not to overthink every single word, sentence, and action. He specifically told him to take it easy...

This one is just so goddamn cute. Iida cancels plans, but Ochako wants to hang out anyway. Cue the shenanigans. Fluffy as hell and worth all the feel good feelings.

As for me, yes, I do have a handful of works for bnha...some of which are for izuocha so here’s my own self plug:

Sword In the Stone

Rating: T, Chapters: 7/?

Summary: Midoriya Izuku dreamed of things; of swords and knights and magic and fire. As the keeper of the sheep and no fire of his own, he resigned himself to a life filled with monotony. Keeping the sheep was all he could offer for his clan, after all.

Until he interrupted the Trails, and saved the life of Bakugou Katsuki.

Exiled, Midoriya runs for his life. Chased by the past and monsters lurching forth from the shadows, he finds himself in a new city, with new friends and a new lease on life.

And then he finds a sword, a sword encased in stone.

Tipping Point

Let’s Talk About Pokemon - The Psychic Type

No type has a more troubled long-term history with the game than the Psychic type. One notorious for being THE best in the game at the series's beginnings. Not even as one of the top types, but the objectively best type in the whole game. With Psychic types having some of the highest stats in the game, including Mewtwo, alongside having some of the strongest moves in the game. Not to mention it had pitiful competition. Its only weaknesses at the time were Bug and Ghost. Bug had a pitiful selection of attacks, the best one being Pin Missile. Meanwhile, Ghost was meant to be the quintessential Psychic counter, sadly they somehow not realized that the only Ghost type in the game was also part Poison, thusly are weak to Psychic. AND they suffered the same problem as Bug, where their strongest move that worked off of normal damage calculations was Lick. Not that it mattered, because they accidentally made Psychic IMMUNE to Ghost. Whoopsie.

Psychic was so notoriously overpowered, the next Generation had to introduce not one, but TWO whole new types in Dark and Steel specifically geared toward nerfing Psychic to bring it back in line with the rest. And of course, Bug and Ghost getting some better moves at their disposal helped as well.

These days, Psychic is just another one of the types. Even down to being pretty reasonably common, with 83 or so to choose from. The type's theming runs pretty flexible, including things like mystical critters, users of powerful mental forces, animated ancient artifacts, among more things. It's also one of the types most willing to get weird, however with a lot of 'Mons in its roster that seem uncharacteristically normal as well. Seriously, what about Oricorio or the Lati duo elicits the Psychic type?

It's also somewhat inadvertently something of a “Space” type, with it being assigned to a lot of cosmic entities such as Deoxys, Beheeyem, the whole Cosmog line plus Necrozma combo, among others. I'd definitely say the Type's strength comes from when it delves into the weirdos and horror-themed monsters. The more normie ones like Oricorio or even the whole Lake trio feel pretty out of place for the type. At least ones like Bruxish or Swoobat can be linked with the Psychic type for one's ability to disorient and the other's shrieks makes you feel all lovey-dovey.

Top 10 Favorite Psychic Types:

Even then, a couple of these are just ones I like the design of, but don't really like AS Psychic types. Like I said, ones like Latias or Alolan Raichu don't really fit in, do they? A. Raichu may as well have been Fairy type.

Bottom 10 Least Favorite Psychic Types:

I feel like a good chunk of these aught to have been retconned into Fairy types, where they'd arguably be more thematically appropriate. The others are just plain suffering from missed potential, like Cresselia which could've been a pleasant Poke-sandman if it wasn't so busy being a Latias cosplaying the moon.

Most Inventive Use of the Type:

...Though I feel like for this type in particular, it aught to be called “Most Nuanced Use of the Type”, you get me? You can take a lot of weirdos and assign them mental supernatural abilities, but there's outliers like Beheeyem and Musharna which take up a unique place among the mental spectrum between the stereotype that aliens have mind-controlling powers, meanwhile Musharna has a particular domain amongst the mental spectrum where it is a Dream creature!

Also, looking back on the guy, I don’t think I gave Mr. Mime a fair shake when I initially reviewed em. Watching the Mr. Mime scene in Detective Pikachu definitely helped in warming up to Mr. Mime just due to that being the funniest scene in the whole movie, but for real. I’d probably still somewhat change the design a bit but I didn’t give enough credit to a mime-like creature that uses Psychic abilities to create physical invisible walls in the world. Had I enough reason to go back and re-review some older Pokemon I’ve since had a slight change of heart on, I might give Mr. Mime a 6.5/10 or something.

PSYCHIC TYPE WISHLIST:

NOTE: These Type Wishlists were written out before any news on new Pokemon from Sword and Shield. The Pokemon revealed over time will not affect these wishlists. Just to present them unaltered despite spoilers and in the interest of getting the wishlist out there, and to see which items on said wishlists get fulfilled by Sword and Shield!

A Disembodied Brain:

With how much the Psychic type is known for being ALL about powerful mental abilities, there's a distinct lack of a brain present here. Or even just a Pokemon with a head so big and with the brain very clearly visible! These things are ALL OVER media, it's kind of a surprise one's yet to hit Pokemon!

A Hive Mind:

Speaking of Sci-fi tropes, I think there's some potential in portraying a Ghost/Psychic, or PREFERABLY a Bug/Psychic type as a rather literal Hive Mind. Or perhaps we could go for an unorthodox way of thinking about it. As in not quite doing it in the same sense of separate entities controlled by the same brain, but rather a living think tank that has eaten the thoughts of other beings and uses it to make a Hive of Minds out of its head, so to speak!

A Traditional Witch:

Yes, there's both Mismagius and Braixen. But I'd love to see a more traditional-looking, still-living Witch! Mismagius moreso has a witch motif and Braixen trades in all its witchy potential to become more of a wizard when it evolves.

A Bookworm:

Look, Bug's still lacking a pairing with the Psychic type so I'm gonna go ahead and double down on this. Though I still wouldn't complain TOO much if we didn't get a literal Bookworm. It could just be a monster that loves to read spellbooks and floats on or behind one, even reading it mid-battle! Could go for a book-based objectmon as well, but there's plenty of living book monsters out there where unless they had a neat twist to it I'd, for once, prefer it not to be an objectmon.

A Genie:

Not that I expect one so soon after Hoopa, but Hoopa left a rather mediocre taste in my mouth. There's so much personality potential in a Psychic/Fairy Genie jackass; a full Pokemonification of the stereotypical genie that takes advantage of your bad wording to grant your wishes in a totally wrong way.

A UFO:

We have a Pokemon or two that look (or sound) like a UFO moreso incidentally than in a way that looks all that on purpose. Why not add to the little subgenre of “Alien” Pokemon and give them a ship to ride in!

It’s hard finding Kun fanfics, so here’s a list of some good ones! I hope you like them too. Kun is an angel, change my mind.

So, we’ve got a side dish of good ol’ JaeWin, but JohnKun is the main ship, I swear! It’s super cute, though the summary kinda made me skeptical, I thought it was really cute! There’s a minuscule amount of angst, but its backstory “when I was a young boy this crap happened” kind of angst. It’s adorable, though.

There’s some angst, but no relationship angst. I thought it was really, really cute, and also Kun’s there, so that’s a box checked already :,,)

Even though the title mentions a Mina, there’s no Mina in the story? Unless I’m forgetting something. But it’s a really good, cute one. Just TaeKun being domestic and adorable, and Taeyong making a ton of food. It’s really good, go give it a try!

This one is hilarious? Or the part where they meet in the bathroom is. It’s really short, not much too it, but it’s cute and fluffy with no angst.

Summary: Kun is the nicest neighbour Johnny and Yoonoh have ever had. He never complains about the noise, isn't noisy himself, and most of all, always gives them leftovers of whatever food he makes. Really, how could someone not fall for him?

This is exactly what Johnny wonders as he bites into a slice of (gluten free) chocolate pie, totally not falling for his Chinese neighbour.

This is an amazing one. Like, 10/10 love it, go be a confident gay Kun, I love this one a lot. It’s one of my favorites. I can’t really explain why, but you’ll like it too! hopefully... It’s, I’m pretty sure, angst free.

Oh boy, do I have a lot to say about this. I’ll start this speech off by saying that whoever lunalius is, they’re amazing and I would die for them. I’ll continue it by saying this is an emotional rollercoaster. It’s Angst with a Happy Ending in a nutshell with that perfect bit of humor. It’s beautiful, it should be printed and sold and I would buy it and read it every day, that’s how much I love it. It’s a lengthier one, almost 15,000 words (which isn’t the longest I’ve read, but it’s still lengthy for a one-shot). I should mention that it’s a JohnKun story, too. It’s beautiful. Like, 100/10 good. I really, really liked it.

Guess whose back.... back again... lunalius is back.... tell your friends.... This one has minimal-ish angst. I say -ish because its between minimal and medium angst, so. Forewarning. It’s very cute, Kun’s son is Chenle, and it’s beautiful. There’s not much I can say without giving everything away, but it’s also a good one.

He had to have a good mood, be around Kun or Chittaphon, and be doing something not silly. That led to to the question: What was Kun trying to accomplish?

Length summary, lol. It’s a really cute, fairly short one full of terrible puns (that gives a little too much away, though). No angst, just Sicheng being tsundere.

Geez, that time of the year again, isn’t it? I can’t believe how quickly 2017 has gone by. So, let me just say a few things in the spirit of the season!

Man, this year, I’ve felt the most welcome on an RP blog that I’ve ever felt ever, and that...that’s crazy. I’ve been RPing on tumblr since eighth grade, and I’m in my first year of college now. There have been people that have been with me since the beginning, and there are people that I’ve only just met in the almost two years now that I’ve been on Shinji. And, let me just say: no matter how long you’ve stuck with me on this ride, I love and appreciate you so much.

I’ve gotten lots of comments and high praise on my portrayal of Shinji this year, which I don’t say to brag; I say it to highlight just how loving and encouraging this community has been and continues to be! It makes me so happy to see even just small spontaneous questions in my inbox or to be tagged in things randomly, because it means you guys notice and love the work I put into Shinji. Evangelion has become very near and dear to my heart, partly because, as you may know, I do relate pretty heavily to Shinji, but also largely because of the amazing people I’ve met by RPing in its community. And so, I can’t repeat this enough: thank you for making what I do worth it.

Here are some shoutouts to people that have been especially instrumental ( pun perhaps intended ) in making my experience here a positive one:

Magi ( @psychic-sun ) - Ohhhh boy HERE WE GO. Magi. You are the light of my life. We are the two balls of anxiety. The sunrise duo. The beeb and the boob. Like??? What did I do to deserve you guys??? I never thought I’d end up as close with you guys as I have!! I love that our characters have such great dynamics no matter who they are, and that I can also talk to you about anything OOC. You know about pretty much all of the shit I’ve gone through and have been there through a lot of it to help me, and I hope I’ve done and continue to do the same for you. Okay no but seriously, Bell and Red, you guys have been with me practically since Kei’s birth, and Jae, even if we’ve only really started talking this year, you can’t have a squadrilateral without four sides, and you’re super sweet and cute and I’m so glad I’ve gotten to know you too! You guys are my tea-spilling, salty-sweet squad, and I can always count on you guys to keep things real. Plus, all our muses’ interactions are fun to watch, and it’s been great to watch them develop over the years into what they are now! And I super appreciate you guys sticking with me no matter which community I hop to next, and I will absolutely, 100% always do the same for you.

Chib ( @of-magic-and-fun ) - SYYYYYYYD YOU ALREADY KNOW HOW MUCH I LOVE YOU. No but seriously, can you believe we used to just write RPs on paper in middle / high school and come up with shenanigans and now we’re still here doing the same shit, except with formatting and all that jazz? You are literally a sweet cinnamon roll with tons of extra frosting that this world does not deserve, too good, too pure. I know things are tough right now, but I’m here for you! And I will stick with you through any community you write in or anywhere you end up living IRL ( even if that means mainly discord communication ). We’re ride or die at this point.

Zach ( @insectoide ) - You know what the fuck is up Zach. From the time before I knew you up until now, I never would have imagined myself friends with someone as cool and talented as you ( and yes, I do, after a year, still think you’re super cool like I did before we talked ). I know you go through a lot of shit that you don’t deserve whatsoever, and I’m here for you for all of it. Though despite all of it, you’ve stayed strong and true to your beliefs, no bullshit, and I’m SO glad and so happy for you for that. And not to mention your bomb ass writing?? Your contributions to fandom have made it such a great place, and I’m so glad I’ve gotten to be part of it in some way!

Diego ( @hogarsis ) - Diegoooooooo!! My fellow magical girl enthusiast! My gosh, I was so excited when you very first followed me back on Kyubey, and then on Nagisa and just across all your muses. No matter who they are, they always seem to have a great dynamic right from the beginning, and a super unique one at that! There are tons of places we can take their interactions and they’re always super multi-layered, and I’m all about that good multi-layered shit. You’re a super flexible and talented writer and RPer, and I will continue to follow you and write with you wherever you decide to go!

Wow that was really long. I have a lot of love to give. And I have more! Here are tons of other people that I have written with / talked to OOC, or would like to, that I absolutely adore.

Of course, I probably missed a ton, as there are tons of you, and quite a few that have only just followed me recently that I would love to interact with more and just haven’t quite seen a lot of yet! But if you’re following me right now, you are part of the reason I’m still here! It takes two to tango, after all!

Anyway, come March, aside from turning into Jared who never fucking learned how to read, I will have been on Shinji and in the EVA community for two years. And I plan on continuing to be here! This is just such a fun place to be, and I hope that that continues for a long time. If you celebrate Christmas, I want to wish you a merry Christmas, and if not, then I hope whatever holiday you celebrate is a good one. And for everyone, I wish you well in 2018! May it be a great year!
