Pink Diamond redesign!

I just got bored earlier and realized pink diamond could use a bit more jester theming (cough cough inspired by @amaryllidae ), but I didn't like a lot of other people's designs that took away her puffy hair. So i decided to rework it! Also note that she is not wearing mittens I just didnt want to draw fingers.

redesigns for pink diamond and rose quartz!!

pink diamond was created when white cast away most of her magenta light and her legs. pink diamond incubated in homeworld, conceived at the same time as blue and yellow but she emerged late and overcooked, lending to her small size and extreme, condensed power. she is the only other diamond aside from white with pure white pupils.

what appear to be white tights are actually white diamond's legs. as rose quartz, she shapeshifted away the six fingers that identified her as a diamond and while she could not hide the marks white left on her body, she changed their appearance to be thorns. i personally love pink/rose's forms in canon but i wanted to give them something extra; with pink, i love her clown theme and wanted to push into it more. and with rose, i wanted her to look more war-ready and messier, hence the messy curls and flowers in her hair. her feet also look dirty, although they aren't- that's how she reformed.

also, pink's halo is broken and uneven.

Steven Universe Redesign: The Diamonds

In my redesign White diamond is formed from homeworld an her emerging is what cracks the planet in half, she then chooses to make 3 other gems so she's not alone but none are as perfect as her.

Blue diamond is in control of the more mystical side of homeworld, most of the gems in her court have special powers or abilities that stem from her and can all morph into/from liquid, Blue diamond is also blind.

Pink diamond is in control of entertainment and the workforce on home world her gems are all partially organic with more animalistic or humanoid bodies, Pink diamond is also seen as the kindest/most forgiving diamond

Yellow diamond is in control of homeworlds technological and military powers and her gems are the most obedient

I redesigned the Diamonds to look more alien-like

I always found it weird that the Diamonds, the rulers of an alien race, looked human despite being multiple stories tall. So I came up with these designs.

I gave each of them those kitty faces because I liked the idea of them, and I also gave them each large ears and a tail. The ears have little bulbs on the tips and lobes that tie in with their personalities and behaviors. Also, the longer a Diamond's tail is, the older they are, which is why White's tail drags along on the ground behind her and Pink's is just a tiny little stump. Blue and Yellow are around the same age but Blue's tail is longer.
