GEORGE:

i've just realised-george is definitely an absoloute crybaby isn't he, we've seen him cry multiple times during interviews and after brazil so I had to send this (emoji's aren't working again,but it's me! the george connoisseur) but george in the poly quartet au? when you buy him a gift or charles and lando do something nice for him? he's got tears running down his face and he can't help it,he's so overwhelmed by the emotions when somebody is nice to him, and the most important part is how you and the other 3 deal with it? alex leading him away to sit on the couch to process for a bit, you calming down charles and lando explaining to them that george loved their gift, he's just a little overwhelmed, and he needs some time to process things? you suggest maybe the two of them go grab him a blanket and some tissues? and of course they do but as soon as george see's them he's bawling again,he's just so overwhelmed that the four of you actually love him this much, and a huge cuddle pile with george in the middle ensues. also the idea of george and charles being babbling messes together when they scene for you? perfection. two perfect boys who cry a lot.

For George, it just boils down to the fact that he has so much pressure to act perfect that he ends up with this mask he puts on whenever he's around others. But then he starts to spend time with you and the others and his mask slips until he never puts on a facade around you.

And when he stops that, he also stops trying to control his emotions and keep himself neutral? He's allowed to be whiney and needy and sensitive here, he's safe here. So he just doesnt have the energy required to stay strong around you all anymore.

Of course the thing to make him cry the easiest and the most is when one of you is kind to him. Any sign of affection and love will make him dissolve into a puddle of tears because his emotions are just so big and scary and he doesnt know what to do with them all.

It is absolutely is the way you react that makes the biggest difference in it. At first George really doesnt know what to do with himself and so he requires a lot of comfort? He needs to be held and allowed to work through all his feelings because he's just not used to suddenly feeling all these big feelings.

And to have Charles and lando give him a gift together? Poor George just starts sobbing on the spot. Alex is right there, leading George to the couch to sit him down and hug him while he processes everything.

You have to comfort Charles and lando before you can go to George, because every time this happens they always think they've done something wrong. especially Charles? He put so much effort into the gift and he can't stand seeing people cry so to have George cry when he gives him the gift just breaks his little heart. And lando, bless him, is just very confused.

So you tell them to go fetch some blankets and tissues for George to help him feel better, but that just makes George cry even harder. Of course Charles and lando are now even more distressed, but then George kinda just sobs out "I love you all so much".

The only solution to this is obviously to have a cuddle pile with George in the middle.

But overtime, George gets better at dealing with his emotions when he's shown love and affection. He always cries, that will never stop, but it stops being a full meltdown and everyone else gets better at dealing with it.

George eventually just needs an extra tight hug and someone to wipe his tears away and then he's alright again.

Also, crybaby!Charles too? Oh god that would be intense because if one of them cries, then the other will cry too.

It’s the end of the season and in my poly!qauartet brain I’m whisking our lovely 4 boys away for a well deserved holiday. Firstly, the holiday place is chosen by Alex and he purposefully chooses a nice big villa because he wants privacy. And no one else has a say in where the holiday is. Not even you, who is paying for the holiday, get a say.

Alex speeds ages choosing the right place, and he honestly loves every second of choosing where to go because he loves looking after all of you.

Alex even helps everyone pack for the holiday, making sure that everyone has what they need (and that Charles has 20 bottles of sunscreen).

You guys spend two weeks there, just relaxing and enjoying being around each other and it's incredible.

Honestly, all four of them are very needy? Because they know you finally have enough time to give all them lots and lots of attention and that they can give each other affection too.

Charles requires a forehead kiss from everyone before he can start the day, and he will literally walk around the villa like a lost puppy as he looks for everyone to receive his morning forehead kisses and only then will he be a semi functioning person. And yes of course George is the goodest boy!! He helps anyone he can the whole time!!! He always helps Alex cook and holds Charles’s hand whenever he wants it and kneels for you whenever he can. He loves being the best boy, and everyone keeps on praising him too? He’s on cloud nine the whole time.

I also think one of the best things will be just watching your boys interact with each other?

Then George joins.

I think that Charles would have heard about you from the other three for ages but never met you? And maybe at first he actually had his own sugar daddy, but he didn’t consider his sugar daddy to be his Dom.

Charles will just drag George over to you practically because he looked sad ,and your always the solution to that! And eventually Charles starts seeing the behavior patterns for being similar to him before? So Charles always wants George to scene with you and him as well? Of course its only a temporary solution,you've got to have a conversation with George about that later (that leads to George being your 24/7 sub-but that's another ask for another day) but for now you've got the two of them safe and that's enough.

Aw I love this so much!! You are the official George anon and everything you say about George is immediately cannon in this blog that's how this works.

Before Charles, you spent a lot of time watching out for George and offering him affection and making sure he's okay. You could see that he really struggled to express his needs and to accept that you, Alex and Lando really do want to help him.

When Charles joins, you have to direct more attention to him at first because the poor thing is just completely broken. But as Charles recovers, he learns that he can ask you for what he needs and he begins to feel secure in the fact that you'll always be there for him.

And that's just a lesson that George never seems to learn. I think a lot of that comes from the fact that he had to be independent for so long? He's so scared that he'll disappoint you if he shows how he really isnt independent at all.

Meanwhile, Charles sees a lot of himself in George. He probably saw that the moment he joined the relationship, but for a while he was just too scared to bring it up. Because he was still learning that he could ask for help, so asking for help for someone else was entirely out of the question.

But then one day he's cuddling on the couch with you and he feels so warm and cosy. George is sitting on the floor with Alex and Lando, the three of them playing a card game but he recognises how tense George is and how he seems terrified to fail. He knows exactly what that feels like.

He doesnt even think about it, just calls George over because there's more than enough space on the couch for him to join.

George is so relieved that he can come sit on the couch instead, instantly curling up on your other side and then Charles sneaks his hand across your torso to hold George's hand? They're just to happy subby babies curled around you as you watch lando and Alex play a card game (lando loses spectacularly).

From then on, Charles is always dragging George along to see you because you make everything better!!

Charles is truly just the sweetest thing? He doesnt even consider the fact that George would be intruding on his alone time with you. He doesnt care about that AT ALL. Cause Georgie is sad and you make Georgie happy and therefore Georgie must come with!!!

George is also absolutely overjoyed at this development. Cause firstly, he gets more attention which he absolutely needs. But also, Charles is just the best person to sub with? Oooh this is a good question (also I'm very glad we're all in love with the sugar sub quartet). This ended up being so long and so off topic because I just have SO much to say about this so I hope you guys are also into this AU :))

Firstly, I definitely agree that Lando might be too possessive for it. I think out of all of them, Lando is the one who occasionally would have problems with things like that.

It's not because he doesnt love the other three, he absolutely does and he is well aware that the relationship wouldn't be nearly as good as it is now if the other three weren't there. He's had a relationship where he was your only sub and sugar baby and while he liked it, he can't deny that it is SO much better once the other three joined.

So he never actually wants the other three to leave. But still, he was the first one and he just... he doesnt want you to forget that? He doesnt want some authority over the other three, but he does want to feel secure in the fact that he was your first sub and will always be your first sub.

Which is why sometimes he wants scenes alone. He loves scenes with the others. But out of everyone, he's the one that needs scenes alone the most. They dont even have to be long scenes.

I also think Lando probably comes with you to events more than the others? He always liked coming with you to events before the others joined too, liked getting all dolled up and showing off what a good sub he is and joking around with the other subs at the event.

And to be honest... the other three don't want to.

Alex hisses at the thought of having to speak to so many people. He is the house husband and will only entertain others if they come over to the house (which by the way, he does that incredibly well).

Charles is your sensitive sweet subby baby and he would rather claw out his eyes than bat his eyes and smile at rich old men who see him as meat.

And George... George is just too scared and too anxious for that. What if he messes up? He's representing you. So what if he does something wrong? Personally, I like the version of this AU where George is the son of a wealthy businessman and so he's been attending those events all his life and he's always hated them. He loves being your sub precisely because he doesnt have to be that person he had to be when living with his family. So no. No events for George.

All of that is really a long winded way of saying that I think lando's possessiveness settles down when it gets formalised that lando gets his own scenes when he needs them and that he's your 'public' sub in the sense that he goes to events with you. Once he knows those things, he's okay.

(Also you absolutely get selfies of the other three all cuddled up whenever you and lando go to an event)

As for Charles...

We said that Charles joins when his previous sugar daddy basically just dumps him for not being good enough (and maybe a big part of that was because Charles wants to be a subby little one and hates being paraded around which is exactly what his previous sugar daddy wanted), so I think that Charles would require a lot of attention when he first joins?

Just because he needs to accept and understand that he's allowed to be needy here and that you wont expect him to do something that he isnt comfortable with.

It really helps that the other three all loved Charles before he even joined (maybe you were always hearing about their sad friend who had a terribe sugar daddy and how they all wish he would leave and join them).

So Charles does require some extra love when he joins, but the other three want him to get extra care? Because they've watched him be sad for long and they love him so much and they just want him to experience what it feels like to actually be looked after.

Charles is definitely the most needy in terms of touch though? He wants wants to be next to you, to be curled up in your lap, to hide away from the word.

But having said that, he slowly starts to come out of shell and become more and more comfortable with expressing himself? Cause he's actually a very loud, silly little thing? He loves making stupid jokes and laughing and being tickled and can't make it 5 minutes into a movie without asking questions and absolutely adores playing games.

He requires more attention during scenes and also requires the most aftercare by far, but he slowly becomes less and less clingy as he comes out of his shell and begins to thrive just existing with the other three?

So firstly, I think Alex would have brought George into the relationship in the first place? It starts with you and Lando, and then you meet Alex through Lando. Neither you nor Lando had intended for Alex to one day join the relationship when you first met him, you guys were just hanging out and it sort of just... happened.

But George? Alex brings George over to you and Lando with the intent of seeing how he got on with you, seeing if he could perhaps join the relationship one day. Alex wanted George to feel the same love and affection that he does, to be safe and cared for and to feel happy.

He knew what George needed, and he knew he could get it if you and Lando helped him.

And the rest of the relationship stays like that. Alex and George just have this incredible connection.

It's amazing to have someone who can help you work out what George needs, because it takes so long for George to feel confident enough to express all his desires.

And George always gets so happy every time Alex speaks for him? It adds a whole other level of safety, where he can just close his eyes and relax, knowing he has you and Alex to take care of him.

Also, George is often the only one who knows what Alex needs? Alex is the one who looks after everyone else, who stays home and does all the housework and makes sure everyone eats. To start off with,I think George and Charles are your clingiest boys,they never want to leave your side , ever. And Alex and Lando tease them relentlessly (I see Alex as more of a Switch than a 24/7 dynamic, while Lando doesn't need as much physical contact as these two) but Alex Lando and Charles will be trying to do something (they're chaotic , they're always doing something) and George will just be there buried in your chest because he doesn't wanna doooo anything he just wants to cuddle ,that's his mindset 24/7, same with Charles.

And on the topic of switch Alex! I feel like he absolutely preens under your attention and helping out with the other 3 (acts of service) so he's the responsible one while your at work (you can't take 4 subs to work every day,so they have a schedule made up courtesy of George) so he'll be like step in when your at work,making sure the other 2 are okay and updating you if they're not (Lando is a disaster and George is too stubborn to ask if he needs anything) so Alex has to do it for them.

Sleep arrangements must be a nightmare as well (Lando and Charles always get first pick over the bed,because it was Lando's bed first and Charles will cry if he doesn't get to sleep with you) and the bed really isn't big enough,but you always end up with all 4 of them piled on anyway because George sneaks in during the night because he couldn't sleep ,followed by an exasperated Alex.

When Lando struggles with jealousy over your attention, Alex is always the first to notice- he sees lando’s pained little expressions when he keeps looking over at where George and Charles are cuddling you… Alex makes a big deal of scooping lando up in his arms, tickles him until he gets a giggle in response, and spends the rest of the afternoon doting on lando, giving him 110% of his attention until lando is so wrapped up in Alex’s love that he forgets he was even jealous in the first place..

Alex thrives in that role. At first he nervous about how much he loved it, because he thought he might get made fun of for it?
