19. what scarred them the most about the heartbreak incident?

man... well, for jordan it was how foreign the desire to end it all was. she had never felt like that before, and the fact that the feelings lingered even after her recovery at the farm and subsequent escape rattled her deeply. which of course just made her more angry. for tatsuya it was the fall. not even connecting with that ravaging, strange hunger was worse then the rush of vertigo, watching the building fly past him. he installed jump-jets in the suit as a way to ensure he would not be helpless in a fall again.

24. how do they typically come across to strangers? to friends? do they frequently use their telepathy to influence others’ perceptions of them?

i know i've answered this one for everyone but tatsuya so: to strangers, tatsuya is smarmy and annoying. too familiar and too quick to make cutting jokes, seemingly unable to take a hint. for friends its the same, but if they managed to weasel their way that close to tatsuya then they should know to ignore his ribbing or playfully return fire to get him to relax. tatsuya's telepathy isn't built for that sort of influence, others would notice if he regularly dipped his fingers in their minds. he does it anyways sometimes, but only to look. he doesn't like influencing thoughts or feelings. reminds him of heartbreak.

30. what is their love life like?

siofia's is complicated. she's definitely fallen in love with mortum, but she never got over ortega. she doesn't want him to love her the way she is right now, so she pushes him away. tatsuya is taking his second chance with both hands, eyes open. he kept his feelings close to chest in his sidestep days. was a friend to ortega, a rival to steel. not anymore, he kisses ortega in the hospital and kisses chen on their not-dinner-date. lula (who is very new and very AU-y) had a thing with ortega in the past. very soft, something she wanted to take slow with him. then she died, and now she doesn't know him at all.
