You can use fashion magazine magazines, store catalogues, Pinterest, or even paper doll fashion to find looks.

Ironically, I am paper-dolling it right now... which is pretty much me creating a single base and drawing the design over it, making modifications when needed. It's what I do when doing the designs for Ruby each RiMH volume.
