Summary: Quinlan is sent on an undercover mission... pretend to leave the Jedi Order and return to his family, only, his grandparents are kings of Kiffu, and that means he's a prince of Kiffu. His mission does not go as planned. After that traumatic experience, the Senate catches wind that there is a Kiffar Jedi undercover on Kiffu, and make him stay there to complete their own agenda. He has the support of his family, especially his cousins, but he just wishes he could go home. Eventually, he gets the support of Obi-Wan, who, along with Qui-Gon is assigned as the liaison between the Republic and Kiffu, and then they start dating. This goes on until Quinlan is released from the mission... just in time to join Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan on a mission to Naboo.

So, I may be alone here, but I firmly believe there's no way that Quinlan and Obi-Wan don't just end up fucking madly every time they're alone. Neither of them really knows why or how it starts but it always end the same, waking up in bed together the next morning. Obi-Wan is always exasperated with himself for it and Quinlan is endlessly amused. Anakin is well aware but wisely says nothing.

That's why Obi-Wan dreads every time he had mission with him. He knows exactly where it is headed.

Day 2: Knighthood/Raising Padawans Track: 'How Bad We Need Each Other' - Marc Scibilia (Spotify / YouTube)

"I'll grab the bags." "And I will grab the Padawans." "But they're already-" The sound of excited squealing from Aayla and Anakin echoed throughout the halls, Obi-Wan unable to stop his own laughter from joining in and Quinlan smiling broadly at seeing the joy return to his friends face.

Kind of just a fun moment for the group, one of their first missions all together, pretty early on in Anakin's journey to become a Jedi. I have a whole little fic thought up for this that I am so sad I didn't get the chance to write but it is the one I am most tempted to work on and publish later anyhow, because it is just an all around bit of fun for the little family XD
