When Jason would come home from patrol, it would sometimes lead to arguments or jealousy of Artemis and how much time she spent with Jason more than you would with his own girlfriend. You knew it was stupid to get jealous but you just missed Jason

Angry and annoyed, you throw the bandage wrapper into the bathroom trash can, missing it but not even bothering to pick it up, because you were angry with Jason once again for being reckless with his mission tonight as he assisted Bruce with a drug transaction. "I'm going to bed now," you mumbled. Jason sighed and touched the large bandage across his shoulder as he watched you storm off into your shared bedroom, slamming the door behind you. His recklessness and the stress he caused were obvious to him. Once he gave you some space, hoping it would calm you down, he opened the bedroom door and found you facing the wall. He could tell you were still angry.

He climbed into the bed wanting to make things right as he wrapped his arms around your waist. As soon as you felt his muscular arms you tried pushing them off you. You turn your head around to look at him and say, "I’m mad at you.". He closes his eyes and says, "Be mad all you want, but I'm still sleeping with you." As you turn around, you smile a tiny smile, and Jason sees you blush even in the dark. You lean over and kiss Jason's head before turning around. In spite of how mad he made you, you still loved him.

Redhood: Because you're weird-

Nightwing: I'm not weird- Shut up-("you are" on the background) I'm not. If- If Robin says that-

Robin: I would never say that.

Red Robin: I would

Robin: Of course you wou-

Nightwing: Point is- If I say that, Or Robin say that or Red Robi- No one cares. You can do a double flip and call them a bitch, and that's it. Now if Batman say's that-

Red Robin: You have a problem.

Nightwing: You would have like seven drug dealers heavily armed staring at you horrofied in a empty parking lot.

Redhood: That Sounds awfully restricting.

Nightwing: Right? It was. But (pause) it was a kind of- I don't know. I kinda of a honor noneless. Would do the same again. If had to.

Nightwing:

Nightwing: And people would– People would tweet "why the fuck batman is smiling so much this is terrifying"- And I would be like "well that doesn't add to the pressure at all"- (nervous laugh) Like- I'm trying my best guys- Please.

OKAY. I had this idea while I was washing dishes. Just tell me if I should write this or not! (Just a preread to see if at least one person will like this)

warnings: angst, fluff and a bit of stalk

Back to you masterlist.

Dating a Robin was magical. Him showing up at your window at night and running around the mansion to hide from an angry Alfred about having his cookies stolen was just incredible. But no one told you that you would lose your boyfriend one day.

The risk was always clear and you were aware of the danger that Jason was in, but you had never imagined that the Joker would kidnap and kill him.

When Bruce told you it was like losing a part of you. Half of your soul ripped out and killed prematurely.

You cried for weeks. You fainted when you saw his body in that coffin. The love of your life was dead.

You spent months in deep grief and depression. You thought about giving up and even killing the joker, but how could you? she was just another ordinary civilian.

Two, three years passed. You entered therapy and had asked Bruce for help. You wanted to set up an NGO, with the name Jason, of course. You wanted to help the children and teenagers who suffered on the streets of crime alley just like Jason suffered.

Bruce agreed and gave you all the financial support you needed.

Jason Peter Todd Association for children and teenagers in need. That was the name you said with pride and love.

Over time, this helped you try to get over Jason's death. Seeing the smiles on those children's faces made you smile again.

It was already the fourth year since Jason's death. You always visited Jason's grave to lay flowers. It was a tradition to go to his grave on weekends and sit down to read a Jane Austen or Shakespeare classic.

In the fifth year you had already expanded the NGO. It was already in other poor parts of the city.

And suddenly, more donations began to appear, and much higher than Bruce's. It scared you and made you curious. They were all always in Red Hood's name.

Some time later, crime decreased and the sale of drugs to children was no longer happening. In the news the name Red Hood was always mentioned.

He was the new Prince of Crime. For you, it doesn't matter, he's helping children and protecting them from crime.

But things were getting strange. Flowers appeared on the doorstep of you apartment, boxes with classic limited edition books and chocolates (your favorites), and all with the same signature. RedHood.

This was scaring you. Who is this guy? And why you?

Am I the only one that thinks that in a ‘I accidentally killed the Joker!” story that Jason WOULD totally kiss the one (ether Danny or Jazz only if they’re around his age though) that did it once he’s over the shock.

Like no joke, he would full on twirl, dip and kiss the person who did it, before going to celebrate that clowns end and later returning with thank you flowers. Cause Jason is a dramatic man whose planning to full on woo his new personal hero.

jason todd as robin being overconfident or arrogant has so much comedic potential. it’s like a little dog thinking they’re a big one. every time he sees dick he challenges him to a duel and every time he thinks he’s going to win. he doesn’t. after every fight he says to bruce “clearly i need to up my training regimen, next time i’ll get him!” and bruce doesn’t have the heart to say otherwise.

DP X DC Prompt: The New King's Fright Knight

Clockwork tells the newly crowned High King Phantom that he needs to name a Fright Knight to serve and protect him. The title comes with responsibilities and benefits. The Fright Knight must defend the King and fight challenges by the King's side. If a challenger can't defeat the King's Fright Knight than they have no right to challenge the King.

Among the benefits of the Title are a custom weapon that can take any form the Knight desires and is capable of sending any injured by the weapon to a dimension under the Knight's control and design. It could be a realm of nightmares or a realm of cotton candy, or anything in between as the Knight desires.

Danny, of course, being some what infamous for saying the first thing on his mind immediately blurts out a name when Clockwork asks him to think of the person who makes him feel the safest.

The newly named Fright Knight gets immediately summoned into the Ghost Zones to be offered the job, no matter where they were or what they were doing.

Coming home from a long day and curling up was Jason was your favorite part of the day throwing your purse and shoes on the ground not caring if it’s bad luck. Walking into the bedroom seeing your handsome boyfriend sitting up reading a book taking notes on the side of his book. You smile before crawling into the bed laying your head on his shoulder his warm body he moves a little to make you comfortable pulling the blanket over you making sure you are covered more that he is You close your eyes smelling his body wash and after shave you got him for christmas.

“Long day sweetheart” he asks his hands carefully playing with your hair you nod moving your head nestling close to his neck. “Don’t you want to change out of your clothes to something comfortable he says his hand running up your back. You let out an annoyed sigh not because of him but because you just wanna lay with your boyfriend and not get up again.

“I Got you sweetheart” Jason says getting up carefully laying your head softly on the pillow as he grabs your makeup wipes removing your makeup softly and wiping it away before being your pjs over and letting you change and throwing the clothes off towards the side.

“Feel better now” he asks moving you back on him comfortably “A little you mumble your hands playing with his shirt and tracing his scars. He smiles at your soft touch on his skin “Just let me know when your ready alright” he says kissing your forehead you nod at his sweet words

Jason: So here’s what’s going to happen. You’re going to go home and nap. Get at least six hours and then clean up. Choose something nice to wear and ask him out. Treat him like a fucking gentleman and stay off everything but emergency coms. AM I CLEAR?

Jason: good. I was planning on pulling a simple Bruce on him and all that but if this works out than I don’t even need to do any of the heavy lifting. But if this doesn’t than I’m letting you know that you are not going to enjoy any of the family dinners afterwards.

I have a thought about Reverse Robins au

Basically I saw something about how Reverse Robins is just Robins with their names changed, so Damian has Dick's personality, Tim has Jason's and so on. Something else I'd like to point out is that most of the time they still all had used the name Robin which...I don't think they would have? If I remember correctly (Which I might not be so please correct me if I'm wrong), Robin was originally used because it was a nickname that Dick's mother had used for him which is one of the reasons why Dick gets so pissed at Bruce in one of their fights about Jason taking over the mantle.

With that being said I think that tension about being replaced wouldn't be as prevalent as it is in these fics, at least not in the sense of "Robin" but as siblings. I realize "replaced" isn't the right way to describe this in more of a sibling dynamic, what mean is when siblings get jealous of each other(typically of the younger siblings) when the attention of the parent/s moves off them, if that makes any sense.

Something else the post I saw pointed out was that we never see Steph, Duke, or Cass in these fics and like...why don't we??? It's almost like they don't exist at all, or maybe people are just forgetting about them because they're "not Robins"(even though Steph was Robin at one point but I won't get into that here).

One thing that I'd like to put out there; why is it just the robins/batfam being reversed? I'd love to see the other teams being reversed as well, superman, flash and arrow for example. Idk, I just think it'd be interesting if we branched out a bit to other families/teams with this same concept. I will say it is interesting to see Reversed Robins interacting with each others teams in the fics that branch out to it.

I guess that's one of my main things though, similar to the post I saw(which unfortunately I'm unable to find again) is that it's just the Robins..with their names being switched but keeping the personalities of the original order. I would love to see the dynamic change with the actual characters changing. Yes, Damian becomes the oldest and Dick becomes the youngest, but they're still Dick and Damian; two completely different characters with their own issues that wouldn't change to be like the other just because the order of their ages have changed. The same goes for Jason and Tim.

Idk, I just think that there are so many things that could be done in this au that isn't being taken advantage of. If they wouldn't be called Robin what would their names be, and if the order they're taken in by Bruce and their ages changed how would that affect their dynamic and their stories? Would their stories be changed drastically or would they stay relatively the same with only a few minor changes for it to make sense? Obviously there are parts that are integral to their character that can't/shouldn't be changed without changing the character too much, how would people work around that? How would their relationships with the people around them change, even if they're the only ones who's ages are being switch around or not? Again, there are so many things that could be done to make it more interesting in my opinion.

All this to say, I do love the Reverse Robins Au, I just wish people would take a little more creative liberty with it. I also would like to know other peoples thoughts on this as well.

At first it started as it starts with any child. Wanting to test the limits of the rules and then he noticed it annoyed some adults. They can’t tell him to just swear :3. So he kept it. As he gets older he does curse like normal but not very often. Like it’s rare. Imagine his coworkers the first time he drops the “f-bomb”

Do you think they are shellshocked (thats a good handsoap) or do you think they scold him.

thinking about Arkham Knight!Jason Todd and my friend brought up a really good point. So basically it’s just really fucking sad to think that Jason is still the same weight as he was when he was tortured by joker, (6’0, 200lbs at 15/16 years old) that he is as the Arkham Knight years later….. how badly did Joker torture him that he hasn’t gained any weight and that it’s still affecting him.
