Rae Taylor, Claire François, and Ralaire from I'm in Love with the Villainess
(she obviously is a baby)
[ID Digital art of Claire Francois, Rae Taylor, and Relaire in N64-style graphics. Rae and Claire are standing in their school uniforms in a forest. Rae excitedly grins and holds her arms outstretched towards the screen while Relaire hovers above her hands (just like in Ocarina of Time). Claire is standing right next to Rae with an angry incredulous expression and shouting in her face while she motions towards Relaire. Text at the bottom of the screen says "You found a baby!!" Below this is a small, pixelated portrait of Claire yelling next to the text "That's not a baby!!" The word Baby is capitalized & colored blue End ID]
It is genuinely amazing to see an openly sapphic couple in fiction like Rae and Claire.
They have normal paying jobs, they have kids who they have to prepare for school every morning. They have sex on regular basis, but theyre also worried about apearing as "too obsessed with sex", as a by-product of living in a homophobic society.
Theyre often not sure how to handle their children, and they still have to learn from both each other, and other adults, on how to be good parents.
One of their children is especially gifted, while the other one is essentially disabled, while also having enormous talents in areas other then her sister.
Aside from going down as important historical figures, and all having anime powers, theyre just a normal family, that feels like it could actually exist in the real world
Anyway, im very happy that more people are going to experience this amazing story soon
Heather: The fuck you mean? Aren't you dating that peasant girl that you kept bringing up in every conversation?
Claire, redder than her and Heather's blazers: W H A T ? No!
Heather: Are you sure?
Claire: Absolutely!
Claire: Enough of that, aren't you into that fluffy haired girl in blue?
Heather: Yeah, but she's oblivious as fuck, so all of my hints fly over her head.
Claire: Sucks for you.
Heather: Seriously though, you aren't into Rei?
Claire: I'M N O T!
Heather:
Heather:
Heather: So you wouldn't mind if one of those princes ask her out-
Claire: I will kill them with my bare hands.
(Meanwhile)
Veronica: Okay, question, what's it like being in love with Claire?
Rei: Oh simple! I find her beautiful in all ways possible, I care for her happiness, she makes my heart beat faster than the light can reach the Earth, and I always feel happy just to be with her.
Veronica: That can't be right, that's what I feel for Heather.
It's I Favor the Villainess Monday and... It's the last episode and I'm sobbing (even though I'm in school atm) Platinum Works and Inori, please give us more, you opened the gate to Season 2 with that ending 😭 PLEASE ILL READ THE MANGA IF I HAVE TO PLEASE
Though this show is over, I will still do my best to post about this show, maybe more yuri shows, and other random nonsense, I've been meaning to watch Stardust Telepath and The Vexations of a Shut-In Vampire Princess but I've been putting all my attention onto this show so expect more from me! Anyways farewell guys and hopefully I will see you at season 2 or when I read the manga!
I watched and absolutely loved "I'm In Love With The Villainess", but that thing kept me puzzled: how is Rae so good at it?
I mean, sure, she has her knowledge from her previous life yada yada, but how many people do you know that would be able to make chocolate from scratch? Remembering perfectly ingredients and doses for so many complicated recepies?
We know that she's a classic random overworked company worker in Japan, even if it was a hobby of hers where would she find the time? Especially since she spends most of her free time playing the videogame. Had she been a chef or something it would have made more sense, but I'm pretty sure she wasn't.
So I kept wondering, how's that possible? Then I saw Claire during a rewatch, and I had a revelation.
Rae learned how to cook to impress girls!
That's officially my headcanon and everything makes sense now, I rest my case.
(keep in mind that I only watched the anime yet, so anything more from the novels or the manga that might explain it differently I just don't know yet and I'd like to keep it that way until I can read them, thanks!)
