Small update!

Hey gang, just a quick update:

So looking ahead, my week will be jam packed with obligations that will take up a lot of time. And I mean a lot of time. Don't get me wrong; they're not bad obligations. I'm looking forward to a lot of them. They're just really time consuming.

With that being said, it will be very unlikely I'll be active on here until like Saturday night or Sunday because of all that's going on.

This does not in any way mean I'm leaving tumblr for good! I promise! I really don't want any of you to worry this is the start of like some kind of exodus or something, no way. I love it here; I'm not going anywhere.

Heck, it's killing me to think I won't get to spend time with you guys this week, but that's the way the ball's bouncing right now.

So please please please keep leaving those asks for me in the meantime? Tell me a joke or something from your day or ask me a question about myself or tell me what you think of my blog or whatever the heck you want.

I promise once everything from this week calms down, I'll be back full swing like normal and answer all asks and reply to all the threads that I can remember to reply to lol. Your stuff will not be overlooked. Cross my heart.

Which final episode is better IYO; The Hardest Thing or Watching and Dreaming?

For my opinion? I choose both! Every characters have their own happy ending. It is sad that Anne has to leave Amphibia, but at least Luz can come back and visit to Boiling Isle anytime.

I wish they're could be an alternate ending when the gemstones has been fully restored to have the girls come back and visit Amphibia unless most of us made our own version.

Okay what in the name of all that's holy was that? I mean... what? Okay, let's start from the top. What is wrong with my beautiful boy? Seriously, I love Max to death, I really do, but why can't he show David everything he is feeling? I mean, that ridiculous man is riding a train for three hours just so he could maybe catch a glimpse of David and when he actually does he turns bitter and mean and snaps at him, like why? I get that he's really hurt and that he doesn't know how to process so he lashes out but can't he see that it doesn't make anything better? You know David is so open about his feelings and romantic and cheesy( in a good way) and so obviously obsessed with Max, and Max likes to downplay his emotion and not let them show that sometimes it makes me forget how equally obsessed and crazy about David he is. But his point of view about everything that happened with Mallory really showcase it and I just wish that he could share all that love he feels because it's so beautiful and everyone he loves is so lucky and I really want to see him share it with the people he feels it for(ahem David). Oh and by the way, the parallel game? On fire! We saw the flashbacks of Max getting mad at David for putting himself in danger in the Maldives vacation and the way you connected it to the David calling him on the mission and putting himself in danger? Just, wow.

Okay I'm done for now, more thoughts later!

I think there are many reasons why Max is acting the way he is. The main ones would be:

He is someone who feels. Not someone who talks. He's good at gestures and not necessarily words. He finds it hard to put how he is feeling into words. We see this in every universe. He tries though. We love that.

I use this same explanation (excuse?) in every fic but talking about feeling and making yourself vulnerable is easier said than done. Like how many of us actually talk to our parents or partners about how we REALLY feel? We're all hypocrites here lol.

I think Max is scared. He did tell David how he felt. On the beach. He put himself out there. And he got hurt in return. So much so that he literally left the state. I think currently he is trying to protect himself and what relationships he has left (with his children for eg)
