What is a video game franchise that you've never played before, but you would like to try out?

Those who are/were on Twitter are probably familiar with the "One's gotta go" type of tweet where you had to pick one of four games to erase from history, which can naturally lead to heated debates.

After seeing a lot of these, I decided to post this image and title on Twitter back in Feburary. I thought it would encourage some friendly discussion, and help convince others to try a new game series. It was nice seeing people's responses of what they'd like to play.

My answer was Megaman. I have the two Legacy Collections on Steam to try one day. They look like fun platformers, even if they're apparently very difficult.

Hello I am Raven and I like to write a lot. The thing is I kind of need money until I get a job so I am going to do c0mmissions!

Here are my basic prices for fanfiction, you can request any fandom and if I don't know it I'll look into it! You don't have to pay extra for research stuff or anything!

Okay, I promised a writeup of Luo Binghe voter fraud meme, and as Luo Binghe is currently in the finals of the poll this happened on, I figure now's a good time.

So! It all started when Luo Binghe, our beloved half-demon child, was submitted to @/hybrid-battle tournament - or rather, as it was called at the time, @half-being-battle. He won his first poll easily enough, but round 2 was a close battle where he and his opponent, Shantae from eponymous game, took the lead from one another a few times.

In the last ~12 hours, Binghe was losing slightly after a popular blog rb'd the poll with a call to vote for Shantae. However, SVSSS fandom caught this in time and passed the poll around some more. The poll ended with Luo Binghe winning with 51% of votes - or, as simple calculation will reveal, 14 votes lead.

We breathed out a collective sigh of relief, but too soon - as half a day later, someone sent this ask:

Initially the pollrunner wasn't intending to do anything about it, but then someone suggested a teamup option, and the poll for the option was made (x). It was rb'd by some SVSSS fans with the general sentiment of 'free our boy he did nothing wrong', but didn't gain real traction until:

@gaywarcriminals reblogged it with a small rant in Binghe's defense

@piosplayhouse rb'd said rant with addition of the image from vol.3 cover, of Shen Qingqiu holding Luo Binghe's hand, edited to look like SQQ is the one saying the text above.

This version of the post was circulated in fandom overnight, leading to 'Luo Binghe moves on alone' option winning by a large margin - and, ofc, to the birth of "Luo Binghe voter fraud" meme.

Though aside from this particular post being funny, there was another factor contributing to the meme catching on: how damn in-character it all was. The following sentiments were all repeated more than once in the post's notes:

Luo Binghe getting accused of crimes he didn't commit? Omg just like in canon!

Shen Yuan would absolutely buy bots to get his most beloved blorbo to win an internet poll.

It's just Luo Binghe's protagonist halo!

All of which made the situation fucking hilarious.

Then, the next day, tumblr user verycharismaticdragon (whoever they might be 😉) made some fanart about it, which possibly aided the spread of the meme too.

Also, SVSSS fandom surprised the mod with our chillness 😅

Since then, Binghe has been going strong in that poll - and now, he's in the finals! So make sure to vote for him; as we all know now, the real voter fraud is the friends we made along the way. And I do recommend checking Luo Binghe's tag on the poll for some fun propaganda we've been making, including a family tree by Pio and some more art by yours truly <3

But wait! There was also another layer to the voter fraud iceberg. The tl;dr:

At about the same time Luo Binghe vs Shantae ended, Hua Cheng was losing in round 1 of @/the-ghost-bracket, with something like 39% of votes to his name. In a desperate move, I linked his poll under my bingqiu voter fraud art, which gave him a boost to get close to a tie, but didnt flip the poll. The next day, I was explaining the LBH voter fraud meme to my friends, and mentioned Hua Cheng's poll too - which was when inspiration struck me, resulting in...

this post. (The link in the post is currently changed to round 2 poll, which HC was also initially losing. Srsly besties we gotta follow the tourneys to get our babygirls to win!)

So: LBH voter fraud meme had even helped little bro Huahua out.

And thats about it! Since then, the scum villain fandom has been joking about voter fraud on all of our polls 😂

(Aaaand the last reminder to vote Bingbing in the finals. His opponent has been gaining lately and I think we shouldn't leave it to the protagonist halo this time.)

Shantae Mini-Headcanons - Tibia

You're probably wondering what this is, and to that, I say - I'm running an experiment! We'll see how this goes but hopefully it's a relatively short post

So, those of you who read my Romance headcanons post here might remember this little tidbit

Well, guess what? I have now remembered the details! Somewhat. I've also changed a few around but it's also been a bit since I first had that idea so I say it's fine

Anyway...I'm not going to cover the hypothetical romance since that would take a hot minute but I am going to briefly touch on my headcanons for the zombie tourist girl - or, as I'm calling her, Tibia - since her design is neat and, well, why not, right?

For anyone who's unfamilar this is the NPC I'm talking about

again this ideally should not be that long but I will still put a read more for anyone who just wants to scroll on

Her full name is Tibia H. Patella

It's weird to me that the only real indication she's a zombie is the green skin and the stitch around her left leg so I'm going to fix that. Tibia also has a stitch around her left arm (specifically around the area that is conveniently always obscured by her hair in her one animation) and on her initial awakening she was missing a whole-ass eye, which is why she took to wearing sunglasses

Key word to that last part is initially; Tibia has since fixed the lack of depth perception with an eye pilfered from an unfortunate shmuck who had the misfortune of getting caught in the Chit Chat Spider Queen's web and being its lunch, so all the sunglasses hide now is a case of heterochromia. She still wears them out of habit though

The little zombie boy we also see in Seven Sirens is her adopted little brother, Mort. The story behind him is that, while making a brief stop in a human town with the Zombie Caravan, Tibia found Mort homeless, starving, and notably lacking any adult supervision to take care of him. She tried getting him a home before the caravan was due to leave to no avail, but she couldn't just LEAVE him there, and with no better options presenting themselves to her...she ended up turning the kid so she could take him with the caravan

Tibia briefly got in hot water with the caravan for that stunt - civilized zombies aren't particularly keen on turning for the most part, as it's seen as enforcing the stereotype that they're no different from their feral, shambling counterparts who mindlessly bite and tear for a taste of brains, never mind the ethical quandaries - but after she explained the situation they begrudgingly agreed that she probably made the best move she could have there.

For his part, Mort has adjusted remarkably well to being a zombie and bounced back quick. He was the one who insisted that Tibia was his older sister now, and she happily agreed, making an extra room for him and generally acting as the authority figure he needs in his life

Tibia is one of Rottytops' several exes, though as is the case for all of Rottytops' dating life before she started dating Shantae, it didn't last for more than two weeks. She's heard the news, and is genuinely happy for Rottytops, glad that she's turning her life around...buuuuuut any time she's actually around Rottytops, she tends to be awkwardly tense. This has less to do with Rottytops and more to do with the fact that Tibia knows firsthand that Rottytops is a trouble magnet and just being in proximity of her means her entire afternoon has probably gone down the drain

Regardless of whether she's dating Harmony or not I imagine Tibia has a crush on her from seeing the Half-Genie Festival and, well. Like I said in the romance post Harmony is a built like an amazon Tibia fell for her reeeeeeaaaaaalllll fast. Mort teases her relentlessly about it and she is torn between being happy to engage in sibling banter or severely regretting telling Mort about dating Rottytops after she finally managed to recognize her in the Fillin disguise because she KNOWS that has to be fuel for the fire to him

After the Calamity was finally put to rest, Link, Princess Zelda, and all of their friends have made it their duty to help fully restore Hyrule back to the xlosest they could get to it's former glory. The kingdom has changed in many ways, but was still the same as it ever was. But of course, more peaceful since Calamity Ganon was no longer causing trouble. Though one day, Link and Zelda have gotten word about a strange cavern that had this strange substance that people have started calling Gloom, coming into contact with it seemingly having vitality draining properties. So they decided to get the whole group together to head into the cavern and investigate

"Sheesh, the people weren't kidding... This place is so damn gloomy..." Shantae commented

"That Gloom os getting thicker the deeper we go... Are you sure about this, Princess?" Ruby asked
