fic suggestion, i know its yuri week but have you ever considered slimebo(slimecicle/tubbo)? something with them bonding over taking care of sunny while in prison i think they could be such a silly duo

Tubbo didn't need another parent. He was taking care of his princess perfectly fine on his own thank you very much. Some days he wished her other parents would wake up. Finally meet their daughter. But they didn't. It was fine he did absolutely everything he could for her to make up for it.

To be honest he was hesitant when Charlie woke up in prison. Slime was volatile to say the least and Tubbo worried what his reaction to little Sunny would be.

But he melted. Tubbo heard the exact moment when Charlie's voice shifted into love. It was softer and more gentle then anything he had heard from the man and to his mind's utter dismay it made his heart melt just a bit.

He dragged him off to a corner of the prison later that night once Sunny and the other eggs went back to their cells. "I swear to God, if you hurt her I will fucking find you and kill you with my bare hands."

Charlie blinked at him. "I'm not gonna hurt her, dude. She's... she's my daughter and she trusts me despite the shit everyone has told her about me." Tears were forming in the corners of his eyes. "I'm going to prove her right and everyone else wrong. I can be a good parent." His eyes shifted into a pleading expression. "But I need your help. Help me be better for her?"

Tubbo released the iron grip he had on the other man and rocked back on his heels. "You know I would do anything for her."

Charlie smiled. "So will I."

So in that moment, for once in his life, Tubbo decided to trust. For the sake of his daughter.
