i was watching yellowjackets season two and in the episode where tai goes to see van at her video store, during the exterior shots of the video store i was like “whoa this looks very familiar”. i just saw it and KNEW it was storybrooke (which is famously filmed in steveston vancouver). i was watching with my mom so i told her “i think i know where this was filmed. there’s another show that used to film here a lot”. i just googled it and i was right- van’s video store is actually the former location for the village bike shop in steveston. i looked and i don’t think it was ever used as anything on OUAT (they mostly just used main street) but the building has the same exact vibe as gold’s shop and it’s possible it was shown in glimpses.

Steveston is a small fishing village just south of the Vancouver Airport, in the Richmond area. I took the day yesterday to visit. Such a quaint yet vibrant community with a lot of history.
