Tom Holland in the eight episode of 'THE CROWDED ROOM', directed by Brady Corbet (2023) L'Ange déchu / The Fallen Angel, painted by Alexandre Cabanel (1847)
Critics Choice nominated performance for BEST ACTOR. Congratulations!
tz are not going back to london yet because they will be at the brazil comic con in two weeks to promote dune and announce spidey 4 at some sony panel which will break the internet and serve as some sort of fyc for tcr so true
https://x.com/crowdedroomupd/status/1699732577983033719?s=46 // does he even have a chance lmaoo his performance in tcr wasn’t it he should stick to Peter Parker
The “stick to Peter Parker” shit is corny and you’re just trying to rile folks up bubba. Not falling for it.
His performance in TCR was stellar, it definitely was not the issue with the show for me. If anything it absolutely elevated it.
We pretty much expected Apple to add it to their FYC list.
Why do you post and respond to asks that are purposely being nasty about Tom and TCR? Isn’t it obvious that they don’t want him to campaign because they are haters and you keep responding to them.
i blocked and ignored maybe.. 20+ asks today ? and several were about the fyc event. i only answered 2, one to give an example of how apple fyc campaigns usually work (for people who were genuinely wondering) and another one, that was the last one. and maybe im wrong but i don't think them or all the asks in the same vein are necessarily "haters", but most likely stans who are too concerned about awards, popularity, and about the way tom is being perceived by film nerds and ppl in the industry. bc somehow they think it reflects on how they're being perceived as fans. but anyway that's a whole other topic
i promise you i respond to maybe 1% of the negative asks i receive, but sometimes it's just tempting to respond and i felt like it. let's move on
I not get it,on what event people expect him show up?
someone tweeted about hearing Tom would be at their work on tuesday for something (likely TCR FYC campaign related). it’s not confirmed or anything but at this point it’s all we’ve got left
He's not gonna get an emmy nomination but he's doing it because it's his contract, just look at Apple TV fyc compaigns in the past they also did those kind of panels for shows that flopped and had half the audience TCR had
It's part of the promotion he signed for. I'm just happy to see him leave the house for something work related😅 I don't think he should be embarrassed for doing something he has to do
Assuming you're right, I still think he has enough power in his hands to say no. He had it when he chose to not promote a movie he was the lead. Maybe this new phase means he's gonna be more ambitious regarding awards and critics approval, which isn't a bad thing at all, but it's clear to me it's not gonna happen with this project, meanwhile his peers aren't even campaigning like him, but they'll be nominated bc they're in a different situation. But hey, life goes on 🤷🏽♀️
