You entered the room to find Gray sitting on your shared bed, staring blankly at a wall. “Gray?” You called, walking closer towards the bed. “Hm?” He softly answered, snapping out of his trance, finally looking at you. “You okay?” You sat down next to him, reaching out a hand to place on his soft cheeks. He slightly flinched at the contact before answering. “Mhm, I’m okay, love.” He gave you a soft smile and a reassuring nod, but you’ve known Grayson for too long to think any of  it was real. “Tell me? Please baby?” You pouted, looking up at him, eyes locked with his gorgeous icy ones. “I’m okay, really princess. Thank you.” He insisted with a soft peck on your lips. Any other girl would have thought he was perfectly fine, but you didn’t think so. It was a habit of his, to distract others and divert their attention to something else rather than himself. “Grayson. I’m serious, please, tell me what’s wrong?” You practically begged, trying to form the softest, most convincing puppy dog eyes ever. “Mmmm,” Grayson softly groaned, breaking eye contact. You moved closer, now straddling his lap. “Look at me, please baby,” The whine in your voice was now more evident. You’d know better than to push Gray, but you couldn’t see him like this. He was going to be distant, again. He was going to close himself off, again. He was going to lock his heart up in a steel cage, again. You gently reached for his chin before tilting it towards you. “Please, don’t close me off, not again.” You were becoming so desperate at this point, maybe too desperate. “I’m sorry, princess. I won’t close you off again, I promise, I won’t.” His eyes quickly returned to yours, but you could see the void behind those cold blue eyes. “Talk to me then?” You begged. “Fine– sure, yes, sorry. See this is fucking why–” He finally talked, before apologizing then harshly whispering to himself. His hands found his hair, softly yet aggressively pulling at it. His first sign of panic. “Hey, hey, Gray, breathe, breathe. Yeah just like that, breathe. Talk to me?” You panicked as well. “You’re going to leave, once you really figure out who I am behind all of these fucking layers, you’re going to leave, aren’t you?” He quickly sputtered. You were still trying to figure out what he just said. “You’re gonna leave, trust me love. You’re going to leave once you realize that I really am worthless below all these layers I display.” He took a shaky breath. “Grayson, please, look at me.” You gently pulled away the hands that were in his hair. “You mean so much to me, Gray. I’d never leave you. I would never. You mean the world to me, leaving you would be my biggest mistake.” You explained, some parts of you begging for him to realize it. “Really?” His Adam's apple bobbed up and down, so did his gaze. “Yes, truly, I mean it. All of it. I promise with my life that I’ll be here for you, baby.” You smiled up at him. “Promise?” He whispered. You extended a pinky in response before he interlocked his own with yours. “I promise, handsome.”

“No, Tonks I am not—”

Sirius broke off, running an infuriated hand through his hair as he reached the end of his tether.

“I don’t like bloody dating to start with. I am not going to sit in a restaurant trapped with a stranger for two hours.”

“Yeah, first of all it’s a bar not a restaurant, so the maximum commitment is a drink, which you’d walk out of anyway if you didn’t like the guy,” Tonks countered, undeterred. “Secondly, he’s not a stranger.”

Sirius stabbed his wand at the dishes in his sink and they obediently began to clean themselves.

“He’s some bloke from work you barely know, You can’t have any idea whether we’d like each other or not!”

Tonks smirked and Sirius inwardly cursed himself.

“So you admit there’s a possibility that you would like each other, though,” she said smugly. “That you are actually still open to the possibility of love despite professing a cold, broken heart.”

“Oh fuck off,” Sirius said, throwing a dish cloth at her. Tonks caught it with a grin.

“I know you’re open to it really! You’ve just got to let a tiny part of yourself go with it.”

Sirius heaved a sigh, frowning at the bubbles in the sink, and Tonks softened.

“You’ve changed a lot, you know. You’re not the same person you were then. It wouldn’t happen again.”

Sirius glared at her, then flicked his wrist and the soapy water drained away.

“What do you - well, what do you actually know about him?”

“He’s a professor, teaches muggles and wizards. He’s an expert in the dark arts and he’s not a weirdo about it.”

Sirius snorted.

“He’s very polite and patient,” Tonks continued, pressing her advantage. “Which I know because he answered every single very dumb question the department asked when he was in our office last week.”

“Working for the Ministry is a point against him.”

“He came in for one morning as an expert adviser,” Tonks said, ignoring Sirius’s goading. “And he was really cute.”

Sirius pressed his lips together, trying not to look too interested.

“What does he look like?”

“You know,” shrugged Tonks. “That sort of… thing you like.”

“Thing?” Sirius asked.

“A bit nerdy, sort of… you know… unconventional?”

Sirius raised an eyebrow.

“Odd. He’s a bit odd. But in a good way,” Tonks insisted.

“I do not have a thing for people who are odd!”

“You do. And you’ll have a thing for him, I promise. Saturday at 7! Don’t be late!”

Sirius wasn’t late - he was exactly two minutes early, just enough to look polite but not so much he seemed too keen.

The bar was dark, a maze of elegant booths and secluded tables and a long, mahogany bar top winding through it. He could barely make out the people in front of him, let alone any (hopefully attractive) strangers.

“Are you here to meet someone?”

Sirius looked round to see the hostess smiling politely up at him.

“Er, yes - under the name Tonks.”

“Mr. Black?”

“Yup - just point me in the right direction, I can find him,” Sirius said, wanting to avoid as many witnesses as possible to this awkward encounter.

“He’s waiting for you at the bar. Just by the marble pillar.”

“Great, thanks.”

Sirius made his way across the room towards where the bar top slid behind a sleek black obelisk. There was a faint shadow of a figure nearby it - clearly the other man wanted to avoid this as much as he did. Except that also meant Sirius would have no way of escaping once he’d caught sight of him.

A single leg dangled just into view, one brown brogue at the end and long fingers playing across its knee. Sirius took a breath.

“Excuse me, I’m Sirius Black, I’m looking for—”

His jaw dropped; his heart stopped.

“Sirius?”

“I…. Remus?”

Sirius looked around wildly as if he could have missed the man he was supposed to meet - but no, there was no one else. This was it.

Remus was staring at him with every bit of confusion and embarrassment that Sirius felt himself.

“I’m sorry, I — an acquaintance from work suggested I meet you here. She mustn’t have known…”

“She knew,” Sirius said shortly.

“She did?”

10. What was your Tav like as a child?

Cyrus was the joy of his parents' lives as they struggled to raise him on the run from Malcolm's archfey warlock patron. He never fussed or complained even as they were constantly on the move up and down the Sword Coast. At 16 (still very much a child by elf standards), he even took his father's death in stride, steeling himself against his grief so he could provide for himself and his mother.

20. Finally, what does your Tav feel as the Nautiloid crashes? Are they scared? Are they thinking of a way to survive?

In Fantasy High, there's a wizard with a frog familiar described as having exactly two moods: 'happy to be here gang' and 'mm i'm not sure about this'. Those aren't Cyrus' only two moods, but he's pretty unflappable so long as no one else's life is on the line, so even as he's like. ostensibly hurtling to his death, his attitude is one of 'well this isn't ideal...'

30. Who does your Tav think of when they go to sleep at the goblin/tiefling party? Or are they lucky and do they get to spend the night with the person they want?

He breaks up with Astarion, flirts with Gale, and chats with Karlach about how desperately they want to fuck each others' brains out. Cyrus maybe has enough wine in him to try touching her anyway & gives himself some third degree burns just to hold her hand for a heartbeat.

(He would've flirted with Wyll too, but Karlach's scene wasn't triggering if I didn't keep the Wyll interaction strictly platonic)

40. Did your Tav agree to kill the Guardian or did they go talk to them instead?

This version of Cyrus had absolute unwavering faith in the Guardian up until the negotiation with Raphael in Sharess' Caress and the Emperor forcing the truth of their agreement from his mind afterward.

50. Does your Tav save the tieflings & gnomes?

Yep! I savescummed so hard to get them all out but yes.

60. Did you clear Moonrise Towers of the shadow curse?

Yes!! I've mentioned this briefly before, but rescuing Thaniel and Oliver is the very first thing Cyrus does after breaking his oath. The scene I have in my head is Halsin feeling like Cyrus losing his oath is yet another casualty of the shadow curse, another good thing lost to his mistakes. But Cyrus promises him that they're going to fix it right now together, and in the portal fight, he debuts his new oathbreaker channel divinity where you can make an undead creature your ally. For him, it's a moment of realizing that he hasn't lost as much as he thought and that these new powers can still be used for good, despite knowing he'll carry a shard of this shadow in his soul for the rest of his life. For Halsin, it's a moment of profound hope and potential. The mists parting for the first time.

I wish they could kiss about it right then and there but they get around to it eventually.

70. Does your Tav make a deal with Raphael?

Yes. 8 wisdom strikes again, Karlach was understandably very pissed with him when she found out.

80. Does your Tav free the slaves from Steel Watch Foundry? Do they side with the Gondians or with Wulbren?

Cyrus was really on team 'blow everything up' until meeting Zanner, at which point the plan became 'save the Gondians and THEN blow everything up'. Sorry, Wulbren, the Ironhands are Barcus' now.

90. Do they betray the Emperor/Orpheus/their companions for the Absolute?

Nope, and like I get why that option is there but it does feel a little silly how many times the game presents you with the thought during what is more or less a strictly lawful good run sdfoijapfsd

100. Did Karlach get upgraded? Did she turn Illithid? Did she return to Avernus? If so, did Tav join her, or Wyll, or both?

Yes, Karlach got upgraded, no Cyrus never sold or let go of a single piece of infernal iron after meeting her (DID sell a scrap of it to Volo for some health potions before recruiting her and felt absolutely awful about not realizing how important it was).

After all is said and done with the Netherbrain, on the docks of the harbor of their hometown, Cyrus is 100% ready to let Karlach go. It's hard and it hurts, but if there's anything that breaking his oath taught him, it's that you have to let go sometimes, and he can't bear to ask her to return to Avernus just to spare his feelings, and he's prepared to rage and hold her through the whole thing.

...And then Wyll makes one last plea for her to come to Avernus with him.

Cyrus hesitates. Assures Karlach that he would follow her no matter where she goes, and Karlach chooses to go to Avernus.

In my head, there's a quick & passionate goodbye to Halsin before Cyrus, Karlach, and Wyll all rush off to the House of Hope as Karlach realizes that what scared her most about returning to Avernus might have been the possibility of being alone again-- and that her husband and her best friend aren't going to let that happen.

...That being said.

There's a lot else that's scary about Avernus. And I have a /real/ axe to grind with in-game (and, to a minor and very petty extent, fandom) presentation of this ending.

Like. There's a Zariel statblock in Descent into Avernus. We know exactly how powerful she is-- and it's powerful enough to grind three unprepared level 12 adventurers beneath her flaming fallen angel heel. The way the Avernus ending is presented, especially now with the epilogue, Karlach's fear of being forced back into the Blood War seems unfounded, because the worst thing that happens to her, Wyll, and her LI is they have to spend like a year fighting fiends nonstop. Which still sucks as a way to live, but the game is much more interested in it being BadassTM and CoolTM than lingering even on this milder form of sucking. In my opinion, it completely rips all the stakes out of the choice itself, because Karlach dying is less of a legitimate narrative choice if the alternative is just... Yeah you have to kill a bunch of fiends, but you literally find the magic solution to everything in fucking six months anyway, so??????

Hells, I was kind of hoping for Halsin to have some negative and unresolved feelings about Cyrus ditching him, just so there would be some sense of consequence for the decision.

And I realize that the narrative complexity I'm seeking won't fit into the minuscule square hole labeled 'ending cutscene & epilogue dialogue' but maybe Larian should've kept working on the game long enough to make fixing Karlach's heart part of it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

So. I'm making my own consequences. In my version of things, Karlach, Cyrus, and Wyll have the House of Hope as a safe haven, but only to the extent that it can be protected, defended, and kept hidden from Zariel, which is further complicated by Wyll still being in a pact with Mizora. I need to keep marinating on the details, but some broad ideas are (a) Cyrus getting exposed to demon ichor and dealing with the consequence of that (growing a tail); (b) rescue mission after Karlach gets kidnapped to be taken back to Zariel; (c) I want Dammon to give SOMEONE an infernal iron prosthetic limb... probably Cyrus. Infernal heart + infernal hand??? I think it's cute at least; (d) trying to get Wyll out of his pact (again) (given our average of 11 int and 10 wis, this can ONLY go well)

Buckle in cause this got absurdly long I did not expect to get this long omll

So I guess I'll begin when he was younger,, when his mother and father first got married they were just going into their 30s, and while weren't actually trying for a kid they did end up having one: Tom

Barbara (Tom's mom) was ecstatic at having a kid whereas Peter (Tom's dad) was terrified, he knows he has anger issues and is very aware of how he's gotten easily frustrated with children in the past and doesn't want to get angry towards his soon to be son (though Barbs has been a dear with helping him and his anger, truly he'd be in jail by now if not for her)

Fast forward a bit, Tom's born and while Peter isn't magically cured of any anger issues, Tom is just the sweetest little guy and he, genuinely throughout his fatherhood, has not once gotten angry at his son. Gotten angry a good few things, but his son and wife weren't in that list

Tom is also born completely nonverbal (this is a little reference to how 2004 he's drawn without a mouth,,, I know that all the characters are at this time because mmm animation but in most fanart of 2004 only Tom is the one kept without a mouth because that and his one eye gives him creechur vibes I love it so I incorporated it like this) due to his autism, and he did get formally diagnosed early on due to this

It's a bit of a struggle trying to figure out what he's saying but he's a quick learner for how to read and write so if he can't get what he's trying to say through hand motions or actions he'll go and write it down (at least when he gets around 5yo, the years before were hard and they had to learn a weird, Tom version of sign language,, to clarify not actual sign language just learning what motions of his mean what)

One interaction I think about a lot with Tom and his mother is in Tom's youth when he's, maybe, 4? And he sees his mom shave her hair for the first time. Tom didn't like the sudden change as she looked like a different person and was having trouble understanding why it was gone

It took Barb a while to fully understand what he meant, why he was crying and whatnot, but finally able to sit him down in her lap he started making a lot of motions towards his own hair and then Barb's, and the interaction goes something like this:

"Are you talking about my hair?" Barbara quietly concerns, gesturing to her now bald head.

Tom made small grunts with wide eyes, rocking in his mother's lap incessantly.

"Okay, okay," She nodded holding her son's hand gently in her own- less so holding and more resting them in her own. "It's gone, baby."

Tom didn't seem to like that answer, shaking his head no with his hand reaching up to grab and tug at his his in distress. His eyes were screwed shut, why would his mom do that? But Barbara was quick to respond with carefully holding her son's hands again, their fingers interlaced as he squeezed on her hands instead in his temper.

"You don't like that it's gone?" She tilted her head to the side, bringing Tom's hands away from his face and towards her chest.

He shook his head no with an upset grunt, swinging his hands (and by proxy his mother's) side to side to drive the point further.

"Ohh,, pumpkin," Barbara gave Tom a sad smile, resting their hands in her lap as she gave him a small, reassuring squeeze.

"It’ll be alright-”

Tom hated that answer more, giving a frustrated noise as his eyes started welling with tears.

“Honey,” Barbara frowned at the tears coming out of her child’s eyes, it hurt to see him so upset, gently running her thumb along his cheeks to swipe them away. “I’m still mama, I’m still you mom.”

She led Tom’s hand over her heart, letting him feel the steady beating of it. The constant and steady pattern of thumping seemed to entrance him for a moment until his mild rocking and distressed noises slowly came to a halt.

“See? It’s still me, baby.” She cooed, running her thumb along the back of her son’s hand. “My hair is gone, but I’m here.”

“Sometimes, in life,” Barbara began, setting Tom’s hands down in his lap again now that he was calmer. “things change, and we can’t control it. Like my hair, you couldn’t control that, could you?”

Tom looked up from watching his hand feel the steady movement of her heart pumping, looking up at his mother’s face. He still looked displeased and upset, but less so, even going as far as to reach for where her hair used to be, trying to grab at the air around her head like it was still there. Fruitless.

She held his hand again, pressing it against her cheek with a broad smile, one she gave him often. He couldn’t keep his resentment for long, giving his own goofy smile back with a giggle. The way her gap tooth showed when she smiled that big was forever burned into his memory, only disappearing from her face so that she could kiss the palm of her son’s hand.

Tom shook his head, frowning at the thought but keeping a wide eyed expression to his mother as she continued her lesson. She smiled to him once again.

“Well, that happens a lot in life.” She sighed, cupping Tom’s cheek in her hand. “And no one likes it, you’re not alone for thinking that. But what you can control is how you deal with the change. Like how you showed me how upset you were, so now we’re talking about it. Do you feel better about it now?”

Tom took a moment, eyes casted down as he thought on it. He gave a small nod as he looked back up at her.

“Good.” She beamed. “And from now on, I’ll do my best to let you know beforehand when I make a change like that, alright?” She kissed Tom’s forehead, causing the child to give a small giggle. That was her favorite noise.

Now, Tom was always a Mama's Boy (not in a derogatory way, he just loved his mom a whole hell of a lot) but even moreso after his father died. They both were grieving and so it caused them to cling closer together because of it, to the point that had it not been for his friend (at the time only Matt, but later Edd too as this was before Tord was introduced to the friend group) he probably would've completely self isolated

They do a ton of things together as Tom gets over and they both eventually heal from Peter's death, baking, sewing, shopping, watch movies, anything they can do when they have the chance to hang out together

They were so close in fact that Barbara was genuinely the first person he came out to for being nonbinary (He/They pronoun user :) ) and of course she loved him unconditionally, but he didn't even tell Matt, Edd or Tord (now in Highschool and having been introduced to delinquent) that yet

However, later in his highschool years, around late Junior year (11th grade) or early Senior year (12th grade) of highschool his mother dies as well. Not from a freak bear with a gun attack though, instead from Pneumonia, which is something she tends to get a lot and always had in her youth, and while it usually isn't fatal and there is treatment and whatnot and she definitely took as much as help as she could, this time just hit different it seemed.

This really fucked with Tom during some of his most important years of his life and caused him to go into a BIG depressive episode for a long long time

Side note that I guess also kinda applies: Had it not been for Tord being just as stubborn of a jackass as Tom, he would've completely self isolated. Edd and Matt helped a lot in his youth but he also had his mom to encourage him, but now with his immediate family all gone he didn't see much of a reason to interact with people. And where Edd and Matt lack in persuasion, Tord more than makes up for in the lack of giving a fuck and would literally drag Tom outside even if he was kicking and screaming. This is mostly because Tord is second only to Tom himself in how durable he is, like a brick shithouse (built like one, too) and not afraid to make Tom hate him if it meant getting him better in the long run (a running theme I have for their relationship :) they're less so "GRR I HATE YOU I HOPE YOU DIE /GEN" and more of like have this weird understanding with eachother where like "I'll literally kill you if you touch me but I'd kill anyone you touched you" type beat, unafraid to get the other to hate them for the greater good because they have the understanding that they wouldn't do something so wildly stupid for no reason. Yes that plays into The End and the future events of WTFuture)

I love them so much oh my god you have zero idea

Anyway, TL;DR

Tom and his mom are extremely close and helped each other get through the worst of times while Tom continues to learn the lesson of "everything changes, it's out of your control, and you can only control how you proceed with it"

MORIKAZE;

-SOMEWHERE IN HIS MID 30S-LATE 30S he seems like a really tired guy who just wants to do his job. the fact he gets to be a bitch is just a plus to it. workaholic maybe since he was kinda pushed into working for mdcr. stays hours after the workday is over to fix and look over stuff

-if i had to describe him itd be standoffish and loyal, even if he doesnt want to be. i think hes definitely a coward when it comes down to it though

-does not like working for mdcr too much, but the benefits are insaneee and also jungle makes it bearable

^-otherwise, morikaze doesnt like kirimi at all. they have a little work place rivalry but manage to keep it civil since theyre higher up. also because morikaze is petty as helllll

^^-morikaze resents working for someone so young, and is also oddly a little terrified of jeraldy just cause of his sheer anger. its what keeps him in line

-probably workplace besties with ven, and i use that term loosely. they have a sort of camaraderie. after ven leaves mdcr for good, he envies her escape from the company, but in the end sticks with mdcr cause where else would he go?

-jungles the executive, but morikaze mostly carries out jungles duties ( assistant executive ? ) for him since jungle gets bored working after like 5 minutes. hes definitely the backbone of the company, and he doesnt hate it since it makes him feel important to mindy

^-aside from ''assistant'' executive, i like to think he does tech ( diagnostics , etc. ) stuff and money management for the company

-when he was younger he learned how to master a ton of brass instruments. i dont think hed be the kind of guy to play in a band or live solo, but hes probably dreamt about it. trumpet was his favorite but i like to imagine he was also a big tuba and saxophone guy

-ive said this before but hes a big ska fan. jazz too but i think moreso noir jazz. i cant decide whether hed like fast paced stuff or slow so its a bit up there for me

-definitely a frequent to places that play jazz though, and even concerts

^-morikaze is fat mostly but hes definitely got a little muscle there

-CARES GREATLY for how he presents. 40 step skin care routine and he always irons out his clothing. has like insanely good hygiene its kinda scary

-not a natural born ice elemental numa unlike koritora. he had to learn how to curate and harness ice himself. i imagine this took years and he only really got the hang of it by the time mo4 takes place, but hes pretty skilled with it regardless

^-as such, i think his body would have scars and visual damage from the ice depending on where and how hed use it. even if he can create ice from himself, it definitely takes a toll on his form after a while, especially in battle if he doesnt have his mech or a weapon. the more power and force he uses the more it kinda nips away at him

-wears makeup. not all too much, just stuff like eyeliner and mascara. i also think hed draw in his eyebrows since i feel like hair in the numa eye is a symbol to be respected

-i think even if he is a little cold, a lot of employees at mdcr still look to him for guidance

-obviously, he has a very hard time differentiating limerence and love, as he has not experienced the latter due to how much work he buries himself in

^-honestly i chalk this up to kirimi experimenting on him in several unethical ways without his consent or knowledge but this also could just be how he is its anyones guess but the former is more fun than the latter

-aware of jeraldy and kirimis corruption, but compared to the two, he cant do anything

JUNGLE;

-older than jeraldy ( only by a couple months id say maybe 18 at the time of mo4 ? but very freshly. imagine dying right after u turn 18 fuckkkkk ) , but also a bit more immature than him. while he tries to act like an adult, he always seems to fall flat

-whatever is the numa equivalent to being indigenous, jungle is that. the markings on his head and face are a family community tattoo. got them a couple years after the massacre to honor his family. each of his relatives had different tattoos, probably got the same as his ma when he was younger to honor her but probably stands for the natural process of life ( birth, growth, death )

-even for a numa hes terrifyingly skinny and tall ( about the same height as kashikin who stands at around 5'2" ) , doesnt eat a lot unless he needs to, oddly agile and freakily flexible, you put him in a tight space and he could easily be out in seconds

-often seen jumping around mdcr often. youll see him in one room one second and then 6 floors up he'll be there too somehow. hes probably wandered through mdcrs rafters a time or two lol

-he didnt like anyone at mdcr aside from jeraldy and kirimi for a very long time. i think hed have issues trusting people and feels like he can only rely on the two for anything

^-after vens recruitment i think hed slowly start backing away from the two out of concern, and morikaze talking about the two would just reaffirm what jungle feared to be happening. while he cared deeply for kirimi and jeraldy he realized the path they were going down wasnt exactly healthy or the solution. even with the space however, hed always remain loyal to jeraldy

-i think somehow he managed to avoid kirimis mistreatment, whether kirimi saw him as bait or just another thing to watch, he was definitely not a concern for him, so he got out of it by a hair

-minimal nocturnal ability, he cant see too far in front of him however. definitely needs glasses but refuses to even consider it in the end lol

-sees morikaze as more of the weird distant father, but its still the closest thing aside from kirimi and jeraldy he has to family. in a way i think he looks to morikaze for assistance ( bad idea ) but doesnt like to ask for it. as such it kinda comes off as jungle berating or using morikaze for his own profit, whatever that may be

-he has his own room in the mdcr building, as do jeraldy and kirimi. the closest he'll get again to having a home would also end up being the place hed be killed

-bare minimum of idea of what it means when it comes to self care and hygiene. also hes like the average guy on malelivingspcae when it comes to shit like that hesso bad at it i promise you. funny but also terribly sad to the point you can only give like a nervous chuckle before remembering

-the phone is a replica of his moms

^-hes very obviously a huge mommas boy

^^-any topic relating to parents or the such if you bring up or try and jestwith the guy he will breakdown. Angrily.

-tries to keep himself busy with a lot of stuff that isnt mdcr related, cause he gets super fuckin bored and eventually hell just start thinking about everything going on again. im saying he likes to try and remain blissfully unware but hes certainly very Painfully aware of the demise incoming

-worlds worst posture goes to jungle, even worse than sigkin and arakawas probably, but i think itd be a tie

-got a little too attached to the robot of his mom. jeraldys probably walked in on jungle napping on it at some point beneath mdcr. hes never brought it up to jungle

-this guy will purposefully piss people off at mdcr to spar with them, doesnt matter in meeting, lunch room, etc etc always looking for a fight to dominate

^-despite this, hes definitely gotten his ass whooped by kirimi and morikaze, but thats because their moves can directly counter or overwhelm jungle, especially with how cocky he can be. only reason he fought kirimi was because kirimi likes to push buttons and knows exactly how to get jungle mad

-hes one of the rare cases of characters where i dont think he cares for music. regardless hes definitely a breakcore / noise guy. just any type of loud noise. hed listen to construction metal if it meant there was background noise

-his powers are wayyy too strong for him to fully control since hes not exactly using an object to try and concentrate the power ( ill compare this to how fukurou has the book and marikin has his cards, or how any other mo4 character has a weapon they can channel something into ) , which has led to a bit of destruction around the building

^-id also like to mention i think his powers revolve around raw energy. as such he can collect and transform the energy into anything ( those mostly being chemical, thermal, etc. ) he needs, unlike the other numa who can channel these into only one or two types of energy

-in conclusion, hes a big ball of ( potential ) energy that could go off at any second depending on the situation and hes always seeping energy from the surroundings

^-this would have been of use to kirimi theres no way to control it since even jungle cant. no way of using it, for good or bad, so there isnt a point in trying to harness it if the main user doesnt realize the potential ( and may never )

What Mai seems to be saying is that only if she and Maki cooperated towards the same goal they could both fully develop. And since she never desired such development, she prevented it for both of them. But it kinda also shows that it's somehow fate related because Maki's desires likely prevented Mai from achieving the life she wanted. Considering what Mai says during the exchange event, she seems to believe that. It went both ways.

If cursed energy treated Sukuna and Yuuji as the same person, their opposing desires would stunt both of them even once they stopped sharing bodies.

It wouldn't even fit too well if we only considered their emotional development and completely forgot about jujutsu. Yuuji isn't emotionally stunted just because Sukuna is. Yuuji constantly develops in that respect, he also develops in understanding of himself where Sukuna seems afraid to venture within, he's only done that a little recently.

But aside of that. I personally dislike theories that tie Yuuji's powers so close to Sukuna's. Not because I find it completely implausible that the narrative could go that way, but because of how the fandom treats Yuuji. How it tends to forget how much of his own powerful person he is. How much he has grown with Sukuna never lending him a hand, and some people only helping him a little. He's mostly developed on his own strength. This theory, at least as much of it as cited here, doesn't seem to take into account Yuuji's own soul at all, and how singular it is according to Sukuna who's been trying for a long time not to acknowledge Yuuji in any way.

I think the fact that Ganondorf has suffered so much is what makes him so compelling to me. Fiction is rife with villains who never suffer the consequences of their actions. Gan has had consequences out the wazoo. But he never stops fighting, because his spirit is truly unconquerable. On a related note (sorry, this thing doesn't seem to paragraph very well), I think that gloom is very different from malice. Consider the terminology: malice is the will to do harm, gloom is sorrow and depression.

That is certainly what drew me to him to begin with, as Wind Waker was what completely made me change my mind about him as a character. It took some time, but eventually I started to comprehend, I mean really comprehend the ending, all the things he says to you. Then watching him lose everything and mentally break for the last time before your very eyes.

I realized. He had been so determined, because this one goal was all he had left. He didnt even want the Triforce at the end, he wanted to be rid of it because he was tired. He wanted an ending to this fucked up story.

Then he watched the one thing that would have kept him going get taken from him and was left with nothing. Nothing to go back to and not a friend in the world, because this was not his world at all. He broke down completely for those reasons but also because it was just so predictable, so fucking like fate to do this to him, he couldn't help but see the irony even as his soul was shattered.

He didn't attack Link because he wanted to take these kids down with him (If he did then let's be honest, both link and tetra especially would have died) but he attacked Link because the kid had the one thing in the world that could kill him, and he was ready to use it. Ganon was never the type to just lay down and give up. To the very end, to his suicide, he went down fighting. It was what he wanted. A final wish, I guess, that was ultimately just to die.

I related with that and it hurt so deeply. It still does. I can still barely watch the ending, as much as I love seeing him in action. The ending just breaks me every time. Because for him and his people, everything truly is hopeless.

As for gloom and malice, I can see the discrepancy. They're parts of his strongest negative emotions. I find it kind of fascinating that the malice was the Subconscious (calamity) while the gloom happens when he's actually waking up. Rage and depression go hand in hand with him, really.

I majorly apologize that it has taken me 1 year, 1 month and 23 days to FINALLY respond to this wonderful ask BUT IT IS FINALLY HERE!

For those who don't know what Willogenic is it's a type of plurality where headmates (AKA Willomates) are formed out of choice and isn't a kind of Tulpamancy.

For me personally I don't think Mikey would be plural based on his different personas of Dr. Delicate Touch, Dr. Feelings, or Dr. Positive like some do, since singlets can have personas/facets and not be plural. I think it's important to acknowledge that anyone can be plural just as much as not everyone is, hence why out of all the turtles I believe Mikey would not be canonly plural nor would I write him as plural for those reasons.

HOWEVER! That doesn't mean he can't be plural at all canonly or in fanon! I personally have a WIP where Mikey gets transported into his younger self's body where he and his younger self share the body, trying to get the older Michelangelo back to his proper timeline. I also have another WIP in which--following the truamatic events of the last season, the movie and desperately trying to pull his family together--he splits.

Mikey is very emotionally intelligent and imaginative, but I don't think these would be the cores of what would cause his plurality or that he would become plural on purpose. He sees the struggles Raphael goes through and has researched the community enough to understand he would not willingly choose that responsibility on himself willingly, in my opinion. Why? Mostly because he places the weight of emotional issues upon his own shoulders and to add more, consciously or unconsciously, would something he would turn away from.

[a haunting from a dead mother's unrestful soul for dear knives]

150 years is both an excruciatingly long time and a blink of an eye. In the afterlife, time did not matter so much, but the longer the stretch between her death and the present, the easier it became to watch, invade, haunt, and manipulate the psyche of a boy she used to love. Knives was grown now, and Rem followed him closely. Each life he took was another crack in her foundation; Rem could no longer cross over. It was a fate she deserved, she accepted it by now. The Knives before her was exactly what she feared he could be.

Rem wafts in a circle around him. She didn't know if Knives could see her, but she was certain he could hear. "Killing humans won't save you. It won't save Vash. Did you ever think he would rest easy in a world he doesn't recognize?" She stands in front of him to push an arm through his chest where his heart should be. She feels nothing but an icy chill. "Knives. My sweet boy. Look at what you've done. Are you worth choosing...?"

Something grips her, a bitter cruelty at the consequences she faces. Acceptance is easy, but reconciliation? It wasn't time for that. Rem feels anger, a bubbling laugh rising from her nonexistent lungs. She snaps, and in a cool whisper, she says to Knives, "He will never choose you."

If she were still human and not a haunting specter, Rem would have a better handle on her cruelty. Or, rather, is cruelty the most human thing about her now? She watches, waiting to see if her words reach him at all.

Piano playing fills the room, notes falling like a torrential downpour to the tune of Chopin's Etude Op. 25, No. 11. Like the glacial winds of the piece's namesake, his heart truly feels as though it's adrift in a hellish winter's blizzard.

"There's no difference between humans hearts and ours- Right, Vash?" he begins to laugh, quietly at first. It grows in volume and intensity by stages, until his face is aching and his throat feels ragged and dry.

Knives takes a slow breath inwards to calm down, then another, a shuddering exhale making his perfectly aligned teeth chatter. The air around him had taken on a chill, his breath coming out in small clouds that quickly dissipated into nothing.

"Shut up..." he mutters to no one, staring off into the distance. Even through the gloves, his fingernails manage to scratch raw trails against the side of his temple, the sculpted angle of cheekbone and jaw. He begins chewing at his thumbnail until it's sore and bloody, streaks of crimson painting his lower lip and chin.

"He'll choose me once he has nothing left to save."

They need to be dressed up as something that starts as their first letter of their name/surname or popular nickname. It can be in any language you know. It can be as general as Celestino going in blue jeans and a blue sweater with his face painted in blue with black dots, as he is going as 'cielo' sky in Italian. It can also be specific as Celestino as Captain America.

So who is going to the party, and what are they wearing?

This is a really interesting ask and I want to at least have a concept going on. Therefore, I decide to combine both of my fandoms: motorsports and k-pop! I have no idea if this is a common thing but in k-pop, before a group release an album, they usually will release concept photos relating to the album. So I decided to make the letter is based on the name of the album and the outfit is based on the concept photos or other photoshoots for the album.

This is going to be a really long ride so buckle up!

1. Tatsuki Suzuki (Moto3) as THE CLAN pt.1 <LOST> (Monsta X)

I actually thought of going with the code photoshoot when I saw these pictures of changkyun and jooheon but that's not really party coded. Tatsu always dress nicely and it's always a treat to see but I would love to see him wearing casual bf outfits and be a heartthrob in full force but we are going to a party and not a date so yeah. The clan outfits are quite simple but I think tatsu will still look fine as hell even in simple clothes. Personally I will dress him up in changkyun's outfit (the guy on the left) so that we can get a sneak peak of his chest and I would make the waist part a bit tighter to showcase his tiny waist more. Maybe add a few necklace there too? I'm not creative in designing but I may add a few more details on the suit to enhance it more or I'll just keep it that way. After all, sometimes simple is enough and he will slay every outfit anyway.

2. Ai Ogura (Moto2) as An Ode (Seventeen)

I love the poet ver the most among the concept photos because the vibe is just *chef's kiss*. Ai mostly wear all black clothes and he does look hot af in them but I will want to add a few colours to his outfit. Minghao's outfit is nice too as well as jeonghan's aside from seokmin and wonwoo that I included in the picture above. I don't know, I think ai suits a not so formal outfits but not too casual either which is why I prefer the poet ver more than the truth ver. If I'm feeling bold, maybe I'll add a few laces but overall, I would not want to disturb the vibe of the outfit and will keep it simple.

3. Celestino Vietti (Moto2) as Chaos (Victon)

I know cele is a private person but boy does he rarely post pics outside of racing. Even the pictures of him in casual clothes he posted is of him in merch instead. Anyway he usually wears simple t-shirt or hoodies (that outfit is still on of the best I've seen of him). So accuse me of favoritism all you want because it's true anyway, I'm going to make him stand out. Basically chaos outfits is mostly techwear core kind of especially the fate version and something that I honestly cannot imagine cele wears but I think he will look so good in. I will add chains and choker to the outfit and maybe clip-on helix earrings just because I can if it looks good. I will make him turn heads because it's my party and he is my fav boy. I actually thought of going with choice outfits especially time ver or in the iconic grey suits with fishnet but I know that I'll die if I saw him in those outfits.

4. Niccolo Antonelli (Moto2) as Nostalgia (Victon)

I really love nelli's insta because it's like really neat and while it's dominantly filled with pictures of him in racing suits, there are still a lot pictures of him in casual clothes. I love nostalgia outfit especially the one used in the nostos ver concept 2 aka the one used in the album cover. I will dress nelli up in what chan (the guy on the left) wore because I really want to see him in formal casual wear (is that a thing? Idk I suck in fashion). But if he prefers a more simple outfit, sejun's (the guy on the right) outfit will do with a loose t-shirt and patterned jacket over it. But it's my party so I will make sure he wears chan's outfit anyway ✨

5. Tony Arbolino (Moto2) as The Name Chapter: Temptation (TXT)

I like tony's style because I think it suits him a lot. One of my fav outfit of him is the one he wore a black jacket with white pattern(?) over a white shirt though he doesn't post any proper pics of him in that outfit. Okay back to the topic, tony has a lean body and the outfit in the lullaby ver of the album is basically fit turtlenecks with tight pants so that will do a great job in showcasing that. Since the outfit is quite simple, I will focus more on accessories like the chains or is that a necklace idk. Or maybe the string of lights or whatever on taehyun's outfit because it looks pretty. Maybe I'll include clip on earrings (does tony have ear piercings?) if I'm feeling bold. Well all 4 versions of the album has beautiful concept photos such as the nightmare ver, daydream ver and farewell ver so I can decide which one to indulge on 😌

6. Luca Marini (MotoGP) as Lotto (EXO)

Luca is a model and everyone is aware of that. He can wear a simple black t-shirt and everyone will swoon. I was debating between love shot or lotto's outfit (he will look hot in jongin's red suit) but I want to showcase his tiny waist more so I go with lotto. Lotto's outfit is mostly suits with a belt over the waist so that's perfect with my agenda. I either will go with a simple necklace or a choker if I'm feeling bold. Basically I will spend a lot of time on detailing of the jacket of the suit(?) and maybe make it slightly longer to resemble a coat to showcase his long legs. Well either way he will stand out anyway because he is luca.

7. Takaaki Nakagami (MotoGP) as The Book of Us: The Demon

Damn I miss Day6 hhh Uhm, okay, so taka can be a model in whatever clothes he wear just like marini for me so I think he doesn't need much styling. I really like his style because it seems simple but casual and comfy at the same time(?). Basically the type of clothes I personally will want to wear. I notice that he usually wears bright clothes and I wish to see him in dark clothes a bit more. Jae's (the guy on the left) outfit is nice because obviously you can't go wrong with a suit. But I will prefer to dress him up in dowoon's outfit more (the guy on the right and the one standing at the center in that pic in that link). I don't even know what kind of style is that but it reminds me of a gentleman with power like uh noble? Maybe not I don't know but yeah I think it will suit him a lot though personally, with how hot he is lately, I think I will focus on him more than the outfit anyway AHAHAHAHA

8. Mick Schumacher (F1) as Minisode 2 - Thursday's Child (TXT)

The title track of this album is good boy gone bad and I really want to see mick gone feral after everything that happened (we saw a glimpse of dgaf mick near the end of last season and that's sexy). Actually I thought of going with the hate ver outfit but it's like too drastic from his usual style so I decided against it. Anywayyyy I think he fits beomgyu's (the guy on the right) outfit more and that may be because I just can't imagine him wearing fur like clothes like hyuka (the guy on the left) did. Since mick doesn't even dress up much and mostly wears his under armour clothes, those kind of style will be really interesting to see from him. I'm thinking of a choker instead of that necklace but nothing too extravaganza to still maintain that 'good boy' concept. Actually thinking back, I may keep that necklace I don't know I'm indecisive. The lipstick smear is a must though as an indication to 'gone bad' part.

9. Yuki Tsunoda (F1) as Youth (WEi)

There's not much albums that start with Y unfortunately so there's not much choices that I can pick from :( But I noticed that yuki rarely tuck in his shirts and I think junseo's (the guy on the left) outfit will look good on yuki though I prefer donghan's. Yuki usually dress quite simple and most of his clothes look comfy so I think that that leather(?) shirt donghan wore would be quite a new sight on him. Or maybe he had worn it before but I wasn't aware. Well either way, I think yuki is the type of person that steal looks even when he doesn't dress extravaganza so I would prefer to keep his outfit quite simple. Maybe a necklace but not much addition.

10. Guanyu Zhou (F1) as GO生 (Stray Kids)

I initially thought of going with zhou guanyu with zelos by vixx as the concept but then I realized that I used first name for everyone else and decided to go along with it. That's why I used guanyu zhou even though I know zhou goes with zhou guanyu instead (and it feels kinda awkward typing that out since I'm used to zhou guanyu too). Anyway! I really love zhou's fashion style and his ig is so aesthetic like hhh He also seems like he is up to try something new considering he doesn't really stick to one style only. While the concept photo for GO生 is not too out of ordinary, I want to see him dressed in shiny jackets. It will be fun to put more details on the jacket to make it stand out more, especially if the jacket is already in bright colour like the red one seungmin wore in the photo. This can be a good look too! I think I will focus more on accessories or even hair styling like maybe one or two small braids? Either way, I think it will involve quite a lot of experimenting beforehand.

Blizzard - have you ever gotten caught in a snowstorm?

I live in a desert, so you'd think the answer would be no. But my family and I got stuck in a snow storm in 2015 while we were driving home from our Christmas vacation! It was so snowy, and we were split between two cars. My brother was driving in front of us and he spun out. Thankfully no one got hurt, but we had to stay the night at a hotel and then finish driving home the next day. Which was honestly the best solution because that next day we passed by 17 vehicles in the median, many of which were semi trucks.

Cold - what is the best movie marathon?

I'm really bad at watching movies, but I love watching the Ice Age movies! I also love 3 of the 4 Shrek movies, and will gladly watch any marathon of animated movies. If I'm not deciding on the movies, then I think the best movie marathon would be whatever is playing on the Hallmark channel before Christmas.

Gingerbread - do you like baking?

I love baking but I'm a slow baker! I get very anxious about measurements so I end up checking the recipe over and over again, which slows down the entire process. But I make some really good biscochos! They're a type of cookie found in southern New Mexico. Northern New Mexicans call them biscochitos. I used to bake more when I was younger, but now I'm too tired.
