I am also so very relieved to hear that you liked mother/mentor, since the key to the story is MC wanting to find her I knew I had to make it so that the reader would understand why and actually might even relate to MC by loving her too. I hate the flaw in some games and stories that I read that I need to find or take care of someone who I personally feel nothing for.

As for your question, yes and no. You do get all of the phobias but you also get unique traumatized trait dialogue in key parts later in the story.

With Thomas, you feel so…

Delicate – no matter what kind of frame you have, he’ll treat you like something precious he’s afraid of breaking. He knows how rough and strong his hands are, and he’s constantly anxious about accidentally hurting someone important to him (laughably, this extends to Vincent too – watching him treat the other man, who is quite strong and sturdy in his own right, like he’s made of porcelain is something to behold).

Safe – he may be worried he’s going to harm you, but you certainly aren’t. You know he’d never hurt you, and what’s more – he’d never let anyone else hurt you either. Strangers lurking around the neighborhood? So what. Things going bump in the night? You don’t even wake up. It’s impossible to be frightened when you’re beside such a big, protective bear of a man.

Cherished – you’re so, so precious to him; it’s obvious in the way he looks at you, the way he touches you, the little notes he leaves for you, the things he does around the house - every interaction with him is drowning in tender affection. He’d do anything for you, you’re sure. He feels so lucky and grateful to have you, and he tries to demonstrate that as often as he can.

With Vincent, you’ve never been so…

- umbrella. just in case the sun gets too much lol

He can hold on for a very long time before something completely breaks him. As for coping mechanisms, well, he likes his videogames to blow off some regular stress, and he really likes to have a drink after a long day (but no worries, he doesn’t drink too much, he’s just. average alcohol enjoyer I guess. maybe above average but he can handle it. he’s not an alcoholic is what i’m trying to say 😂)

43. How important are the rules to your oc? Do they follow them to a t, or do they enjoy breaking them?

I think he’s the kind of person to follow rules as long as they make sense to him (he doesn’t have to agree with them, but as long as he can see why they were made, fine, he’ll follow them somehow, even if he's not happy about it). If they don’t make sense or if he feels like he knows better (which happens often because he has this thing where he thinks he’s the best lol), he’ll break them or act how he feels is the best in the situation. But it’s not like he enjoys it, it’s just...his common sense or something. He’s just doing what he thinks is right.

Omg, it's hard to pick 😩 I have a whole ass Google doc that just consists of saved comments/asks that made me smile! 13. First fandom you ever wrote for?

This one! :) The fallout fandom is the first I've ever really written for, and definitely the first one I've ever posted publicly for.

However, I've been writing a Harry Potter fanfic for a long time now, that I've just never posted anywhere cuz I started writing it in middle school, and it's pretty embarrassing 😅

I've also been thinking about branching out and living up to my "Bethesda hoe" title I put on my account by writing for TES as well (mainly Oblivion and Skyrim, since I don't remember much of Morrowind, and I didn't play Arena, Daggerfall or TES Online) But I'm not sure how I would go about it 🤔
