I had the HARDEST time coming up with Christmas presents for them to get each other omfg, I was like Fictional!Matty just buys himself whatever he wants and Fictional!George is NOT materialistic and doesn't like things BUT I was really happy with what I came up with and I'm excited for you to see what Fictional!George got Fictional!Matty!

Fictional!George was done, his mom is a bitch but his sister's comments put him over the edge, they are going to Manchester where they are appreciated! (In the outline Fictional!George caused even more of a scene - with Fictional!Matty's help, but I think I like this version better!)

Fictional!George is marrying Fictional!Matty even if Fictional!Matty doesn't know that yet- he's waited seventeen years, he's ready gosh darn it!

She was a Catwoman copy cat (haha sorry i couldn't help it) who grew up with her abusive uncle (Mario Falcone - he literally tries to kill her in the arc she's in, she calls him uncle - but others claim she's his little sister and she claims she's Carmine's daughter) and lived on the streets for a while. She looked up to Catwoman and imitated her, but Selina steals some of her maps (i think like blueprints for heists or smth idk) so she breaks in to Selina's house to steal them back.

At this point she was working for Penguin (she bombed a place it was a whole thing) - her map making skills are vital for taking down/locating Black Mask so she's vital (she's doing this for the bounty). And she and Selina get on and Selina gives her a costume and she becomes Catgirl.

Anyways from here on, she runs ahead on the case they're working on (i skimmed didn't actually read it) leaving him clues and such it's like the typical young vigilante storyline of being over confident. She gets in over her head, Dick catches up and bails her out - she runs (because this one actually has self preservation instincts unlike the 934758 other batfam characters). Dick gets shot in the head (again - but don't worry the cowl redistributed its impact *sigh* this man has so much head trauma, but comic book logic) by Harvey Dent's wife Gilda no less and wakes up later and finds this letter.

The arc itself is pretty dry and follows a pattern we've already seen from DC comics. Also she's like "I'll be back" and DC just went sike. So. Yeah. Reboot messed her stuff up. It's annoying to me that they made Lian Selina's new protégé or whatever when they already had this storyline right here, and to have Jade drop her off like that is ooc, especially because Roy was right there as well. And while Kitrina might not be for everyone personality wise, I personally would love to see her kick rich kids asses at boarding school. Or just have her train under Selina - because at the least she already grew up watching Selina and trying to emulate her, both in personality and in the skills she taught herself - so the connection for this character is already there - whereas "Shoes" just came out of nowhere.

Another thing I find kind of funny is the popularity of "Stray" fics, because she hits some of the same beats I've heard about (i haven't read any though this is second hand knowledge). To my understanding, when someone (Tim or Jason) is stray, they grow up on the streets trying to escape familial abuse (which she does) and eventually is taken in by Catwoman (which she is) and becomes her protégé (again which canonically happened to this character). Though she doesn't interact with her respective Robin (Damian at the time) too much which i think is also usually a part of said fics.

I have no idea if this is a coincidence or not - this character has very few appearances, which date back to the Dick!Bats era - so i assume most of this fandom doesn't actually know who she is, but it's possible one of the first "Stray" fics used her as inspiration.

Also she freaking bit Dick as Batman which i find hilarious - i know fandom makes a big thing about Damian being a biter but like:

My personality type is ISTJ, I'm a sagittarius sun, scorpio moon and libra rising. To the public I'm pretty closed off/reserved but with my friends I'm brave, loyal and love to laugh. I don't trust easily and I'm pretty cautious of everyone so I try to keep out of the way.

My hobbies include gymnastics which I did competitively and won a few medals, I also do figure skating and have leveled up pretty quickly at that. I workout everyday because even though I dont compete now I still want to improve and if anything I'm better now than I was back then.

I like indie music, horror movies mainly psychological, nature and wildlife and the peace and quiet it brings. I hate loud, busy places, untidy, dirty things and people messing up my routine.

My love language is quality time like I just wanna be around that person a lot. I think the love language that speaks to me most is probably also quality time, like the fact that they would want to be around me willingly seems so unfamiliar I love the idea of it. Also words of affirmation or physical touch, I'm awkward at giving those but receiving them would make me melt cause I'm not really used to any of it. My ideal dates are simple things like going on walks at like 3am or dancing in the livingroom or movie nights just cheap simple things like that.

Obesession era. This is what sold my soul to exo for life like can we talk about this look ??? The makeup, the outfit, the FACE CHAIN, ALSO THE ICONIC PLATINUM HAIR = *French chef kiss*

Kokobop era...this was the era I could have gotten into exo but nooo, my Dumbo self was like "what is exo?" (We don't talk about kpop 2016/17 me she was....sad) but no, seriously this was SUCH a good look on him (everyone looked good in that era) apparently many fans didn't like this(?) Look on baekhyun, correct me there my secret santa but if yes then SMH. He was one the few that started the mullet trend and deserves to be recognized for it thank you very much. Also yes this is me lowkey asking for mullet!hyun to make a comeback lmao

Next is you guessed it, monster. The iconic look or as I call it, the demon look. Everything about this is...ugh, perfection. Like perfect Halloween vibes hands down. If I saw this baekhyun in the middle of the night saying he wants my soul, I would agree. If monster baekhyun would do a "fatality" move from. Mortal kombat, j would thank him.

Next is solo debut aka un village. Its grunge meets fancy. The grey hair, the loose comfy but kinda schmexy vibe with the outfits we got (like we got the grunge fancy but also the dad on a holiday vacation outfit so best of both worlds) plus the songs from this album are still ones I love to listen on repeat. Not once do I wanna skip (my fav has to be pyscho!)

And at number 5 (because I did a top 5 haha) is lightsaber! Not sure why I couldn't add a gif so here is a picture instead! Not only is this the most iconic song to grace our ears (chanyeol's rap is everything but rip him rapping so fast) but the mv i really like. The cinematography is beautiful. It kinda has this homemade feel to it, dare I say even stranger things vibes (I say this as I NEVER saw the show dnakdjak) but love this bright red hair on him. The outfit and the gosh darn lollipop (plot twist, this was him hinting to his 2nd solo album delight dnakdnak)

To answer your question, my week was alright! Had some hiccups with technology related stuff (because I am a Dumbo and messed things up djansna) but other than that. Gosh darn it he forgot what his name was

You looked really beautiful

And it was just this awkward moment of silence between the two of you as you both tried to collect your thoughts

Because suddenly a really beautiful person was in front of you WHAT TO DO?!?!

Maybe introductions?

“Oh I’m sorry, I’m Minghao, I should have been watching where I was going.” he laughed nervously

“I’m Alex,” you giggle “and I should have been paying more attention too.”

Honestly the conversation just took off from there

You were genuinely so surprised how easy it was talking to Minghao

He asked what you were thinking about

Since ya know y’all kind of ran into each other

Quite literally

And you said you were thinking about stuff

And that quickly evolved into a ‘what was he thinking about’

And ‘what are some of your favorite hobbies’

And then ‘no way me too’

It just clicked? So easily

And naturally you were both like ‘let’s get coffee’

And exchange numbers ;)

And then throughout the week

As you were going anywhere

Suddenly the two of you ran into each other more

Like to the point it was kind of freaky

Like was the universe messing with the two of you when you ran into each other at the grocery store on monday

And when he went out to eat with some of his friends at the same restaurant you were eating at

And then when he saw you

His friends legit made fun of him so much

He was blushing and smacking their shoulders lol

And he ended up just giving up and asking you to sit with them

There was one person

Was his name Jun?

There were a lot of them

Who kept nudging Minghao in the ribs

You he ended getting smacked by Minghao

Much to the entertainment of the others

At the end of it

“You know I think the universe is trying to tell us to just go on a date already…”

He said it so casually

But his heart was racing

And so was yours

And that’s how you guys scheduled a movie that saturday evening

And imagine your surprise

When you were at the zoo with a friend

And you see MINGHAO THERE

Because of course

And he was taking pictures of some of the animals and plants by himself

Genuinely looking like he was enjoying himself

And you thought he seemed really cute

And he turned around and spotted you

Before you could hiiiiide

And he was so surprised omfg hahaha

And he walked up to you with your friend low key being like “ummm cute boy approaching what’s this?!!!?!?”

“Alex, are you following me?”

Your friend burst out laughing

“I was legit going to ask you the same thing what the heck.”

“Well, since we’re seeing the movie later tonight, do you just want to hang out and grab dinner before then too?”

You hesitated

But your friend lmao

“WOW WHAT A GREAT IDEA I HAD TO LEAVE ANYWAY BUT ALEX LOVES SEEING THE ANIMALS AND LOOK AT THE TIME I GOTTA-”

You’re going to kill her when you see her next time

And just like that she took off

Leaving you and Minghao behind

But honestly it was so much fun

You and Minghao got to go around looking at all the animals

You’d be pointing out one exhibit and turn around and he’d be gone

Over by a tree taking pictures of a squirrel

Or looking at the tigers with awe in his eyes

And you too

He went to go buy popcorn

And came back and you were just poof

Gone

And standing over by the sea otters

BECAUSE OTTERS

And then you run back to him dragging (and spilling some popcorn) his arm over to look at the cuties

You guys were cuties too though;)

And honestly this sort of surprise date

Became the best thing ever

And as you two were leaving for dinner

“Alex…”

You’re pleasantly surprised when he pulls you into a hug

And says, “I had a lot of fun.”

And on impulse

You kind of just

His lips soft against yours

His eyes widening in surprise before crinkling up from his smile

And when you pulled away

He reached gently for your chin

And kissed you again

Sparks were lighting your skin on fire

And he pulls away smiling like crazy

“So what do you want for dinner?”

What a crazy, interesting, beautiful sort of weekend
