She was the FIRST DC comics character I ever looked at and knew outside of media adaptions, who I went “well let’s do this” and dove into comics for, who my entire mental map of the DC universe rotates around.

She is the first hero I learned to love by an identity that isn’t the widely known one general public one (I fell for ORACLE).

How did he repeatedly hack ED-E? What does he use to speak through ED-E? My initial thought was that he did everything from his temple, but no he follows Six throughout Lonesome Road so HOW does he do it?

Where does the paint come from?

Did this motherfucker walk the entirety of the Divide just to leave ominous messages and markings for the Courier? Hell he walks it TWICE to keep an eye on them.

Why did he make a pre-planned loot crate for them?

every time i think about CD having this whole backstory element where he's had multiple husbands who he has erased from his memory i lose my mind. the thing is, in almost any story that would ABSOLUTELY be a set-up for like. a plot device later on. it would be preparing you for a twist or plot development. but not here. it's literally just there as a character note; it is in the story not to set up a reveal or a twist or anything of the sort, it's here to tell you who CD is as a person, and something about his and brainstorm's friendship, and to make his decision to keep rewind's memory hit harder. something that completely batshit is in this story as a character aside. i fucking love it. CD is a character living in the segment of MTMTE where the genre is fucking 'melodrama' and i love him tbh.
