rand: ABSOLUTELY. in fact, whenever he sees you, he will beg to see every single new picture you've taken of your kids since the last time you saw him, before you can even offer to show them. you end up having to create an online shared photo album for him because it's just too exhausting to keep up with his in-person demands to be shown pictures of your kids. every time you upload a new picture to the album, he'll text you within minutes gushing about how cute it is.

egwene: not interested, but too polite to say so, but will make sanctimonious little comments about how she's so glad SHE doesn't have kids and it's so nice to have the time and money to have a life of her own, etc.

nynaeve: very interested, but you stop showing her any because all she does is try to backseat parent your kids and criticize your parenting skills using inane details in the photos as evidence that you've committed a grievous parenting error and your kids might die if you don't take all her advice

perrin: not particularly interested in pictures of your kids (although he will be very polite about humoring you), but is the best audience for pictures of your dog

mat: complains that you won't stop showing him pictures of your kids, but then, when you do stop, he gets upset because he wants to be kept up to date on how the little guys are doing

elayne: LOVES to see pictures of your kids, and will request it if you don't offer first. but if she sees them repeat outfits, she'll worry that you're impoverished and next thing you know a truckful of haute couture children's clothing is being delivered to your house.

aviendha: doesn't request to see pictures of your kids but won't mind if you offer to show her some. however, you quickly learn that it's not worth it because she'll see a picture of them playing with toys and will scold you to high hell for coddling them too much and raising them to be soft and weak.

min: not interested and not too polite to say so. she's trying to run a bar here, she hasn't got time to fake enthusiasm over pictures of a baby that looks like any other baby.

moiraine: enjoys seeing pictures of her nieces and nephews (lan's kids) and her grandchildren (rand's kids), but does not care to see pictures of any other children and will use her best aes sedai evasion tactics to wriggle out of being obligated to do so

lan: genuinely does like being shown pictures of your kids, but gives absolutely 0 exterior indication of it, so you assume he's not interested

so like 8 years ago or something like that, i got a hearing test, because i was having trouble hearing people. After the test, the doctor who administrated the test told me that i had perfect hearing and That's That. Fast forward to three hours ago, when I was told by my mother that i have an audio processing disorder.

and she mentions it offhandedly like "oh yeah remember your audio processing disorder" and I said The Fuck I Do, and she replied "oh did i forget to tell you about the audio processing disorder you were diagnosed with 8 years ago?"
