found this part interesting how it’s translated. For those who don’t remember, it’s Ye Xiu’s responding why he won’t 1v1 Huang Shaotian (s1e10 of the donghua)

The last line of the chat was translated to “I need to make money too” (referring to Ye Xiu working at Happy Net Cafe).

What he really says is: 我也要吃饭的嘛 - Literal translation: “I also want to eat!” (which basically implies the same thing, but I find the literal translator more fun haha).
