You can tell The Bear has grown in popularity by all the behind the scenes photos/spoilers everyone is capturing. It's cool to see. I like it, but I also don't want to be spoiled. I think I need to take a hiatus from social media. 😂😭🫣
I'd rather be pleasantly surprised or horrified by the events of season 3. (I've been thinking about how they could easily flip the script on everything that has transpired so far. You never really know.)
I am *painfully* new to Tumblr and how all this works but I am stupid grateful to find other people who also enjoy hyper in-depth character analysis because Season 3 of The Bear allegedly isn’t coming out until June and fan theories are the only thing keeping me alive right now tbh 🐻
Sydney looks like she’s gonna get loads of screen time and Sugar is gonna get more too. I love the idea of Tina and Ebraheim going to culinary school. The writers are making sure this season feels fresh and not repetitive.
Aww Carmy looked like he wanted to cry here. 😫 I think he was really happy that Marcus came back, and also hoping that Sydney would come back too.
Things were falling apart in the short time Syd was gone. That says a lot. Carm looked sad and was ready to let it all burn. So yeah, he needed to get Sydney back. 🔥
Sigh. I need your thoughts on this article interview with JAW please. I’m just kinda surprised to read this cause I feel like JAW especially was directed in a way to sorta be in a growing awe of Sydney. Granted, it does NOT seem like he’s already crushing on her or anything, but the way JAW’s talking in this makes it seem like he himself was not picking up on any sort of potential chemistry? Which is so confusing cause there are MOMENTS that I know FOR SURE happened that he played so deftly; When Syd puts her hand on Carm as he goes by and he quickly looks down at it; Episode 8 when he texts her before reading his brother’a letter; The way his gaze STAYS on her.
So now what I’m also wondering is: Would JAW say shit to throw us off, just to make it *seem* like no romance is possible between Carmy and Sydney? Also, how deferential are the creators/writers to actors saying stuff like this, like him saying that changing their friendship to a romance would mess up what he as an actor enjoys about their relationship? Does anyone have any examples where actors have said similar stuff, but then later on had some romance thrown into their storylines regardless?
idk man, I’m not asking for a full on romance. I realize that’s not what this show is about…But a 5 season slow burn between the two would be still be great. And now I’m kinda sad to actually read JAW say this.
I cant link the article for some reason but it’s super new, titled, “Jeremy Allen White Hopes No Romance Will Infiltrate The Bear’s Kitchen” by Brooke Lamantia.
