DAVE: faculity isnt a word check mate
DAVE: this kinda strikes me as a sort of misappropriation of alchemy
DAVE: like fucking with the mystical technology of creation to whip up some moonshine just seems
DAVE: i dunno man
DAVE: tell me you at least alchemized a bathtub first to stir this shit in
DAVE: at least that would be hilarious

ROSE: Hahaha! , Foily.
ROSE: *FOLLY. :)
ROSE: Or what about, the tale of Isaac Newdon under the tree?? He was BONKED on the head by an apple.
ROSE: Not reallyan apple though... an atomic idea. An emlemental unit of inspripation itself, id clocked him right on then noggin.

ROSE: Of course thess stories are acutually bullshit. They didn't happen in realaity. But thef act that they'rare bullshit makes them more inshresting.
ROSE: Men have crefted many stories that are bullshit out of symbols risen from the abyss of coinsciousness withou necesharily knowing whath e fuck they were doing or saying, as they flounered around for some truth.
ROSE: Bust in spite of themseleves they would for howefer briefly cross through a ray of light regarless. Becuss of the sbymbols. Dave.. The symbols hol dall the power.

Moonlit Night - Joseph von Eichendorff - Germany
Translator: Richard Stokes (German)
It was as though Heaven
Had softly kissed the Earth,
So that she in a gleam ofblossom
Had only to dream of him.
The breeze passed through thefields,
The corn swayed gently to and fro,
The forests murmured softly,
The night was so clear with stars.
And my soul spread
Her wings out wide,
Flew across the silent land,
As though flying home.

hello! this is Bahaa from Palestine. I Finished my volunteery project at Cabuwazi in months ago. about me: I came from a clowning background in addition to a good experience in Juggling, fire stuff. I am a performer with flair for communication and teaching. In my professional work, I work with circus in many different aspects, both performing and organizational. I believe that circus is good because it creates space for personal development, creates communities and is much fun. Until now, I have primarily focused on circus for and with children and young people, and enjoy the interplay between the creative and the pedagogical. I am responsible and collaborative; good at making things happen and can keep a cool head in a dynamic work environment. to be honest, it was hard choice for me, between Switzerland and germany. i'm very glad that I chose Cabuwazi and Cabuwazi is very welcome. Cabuwazi family is extremely amaizng, I had a great time with all the dream team espiclly the crew that I was work with and people I'm still work with them, they are really helpful and greatful. I can't describe how the team, is more than a collection of people. It is a process of give and take.
now I'm working in Cabuwazi tempelhof as main trainer. which gave me a great experience in dealing with children, how to motivate them, and always start from who they are, and help them to have their own passion. Everyone is different that's the lesson i learned throughout the year of giving classes, voulnteering, and touring in thefield of circus, whether your a child, a kid, or a grownup, you have your own interests, cares, love, and passion. With big love from berlin, Bahaa

Hogwarts Legacy PS4 Review
March 26, 2024
Tumblr media
This review is long overdue, but to be fair it's been a wild few months. I started playing Hogwarts Legacy in November 2023. I found it for an amazing price (brand new $20 at Best Buy!) so I had to get it. I'm so glad I did, it was such a peaceful (and sometimes chaotic) adventure.
Game: Hogwarts Legacy First Time/Replaying: First Time Game Time: 90 hours Console: PS4 Started: November 23, 2023 Finished: January 19, 2024
Tumblr media
For my first playthrough, I decided to play as Ravenclaw because that is my House. I played this as a Wizarding World fan, so it was basically a dream come true. To explore not just Hogwarts Castle, but the MANY towns outside was truly special.
The flying mechanism in this game was amazing. It really felt like I was flying! (Due to the wind sound affects and easy movement.) It took awhile to get used to the Quidditch hoops side-quests, but once I got better at controlling my broom, those side-quests were fun.
Speaking of side-quests, this game has many. A few of them are games (like the Quidditch hoops) while others are fetch quests. Some of them are long side stories with Hogwarts students, which was a great way to get to know your classmates.
Tumblr media
The game has something called a Field Guide that gives you quests that you must complete (such as: defeat X amount of goblins, raise X amount of creatures, etc.). I thought it was fun and a good way to tell me what I should work on next. You don't Platinum the game by completing theField Guide, but I'm not a trophy hunter so getting 100% on the Field Guide was enough for me.
I played this on a PS4 and I thought the graphics looked great. I know they look even better on a PS5 though, which is wild. Voice acting was good, character customization was very basic but that's fine. The multitude of costumes makes up for lack of appearance customization.
The game gives you different level options to play at. I chose "Story" mode because I was more interested in the story. It made the battles fairly easy but you still need to pay attention to your enemies and the spells you're casting. The story was phenomenal. I don't know what others were expecting, but to me it was a great standalone story with mystery and adventure. I really liked it!
Overall, the game is a lot of fun. You can truly explore to your heart's content, but I love that it's easy to reel yourself back in whenever you feel like you're wandering too far from the main story. Instant travel is available which comes in handy, but the many ways of traveling (I won't spoil them) make standard traveling so much fun, you might not even want to use instant travel!
Even if you aren't a Hogwarts or Wizarding World fan, I still think you could have fun playing this. However, if you are a Wizard/Witch yourself and love the HP world, then you definitely should play this! As long as you are open to a game that is not focused on The Boy Who Lived, you will find so many magical moments playing Hogwarts Legacy.

Why is it important for museums to tell inclusive stories that are relevant to the communities they serve?
Tumblr media
I'm a person from China who is interested in Museum field, in China, There are not many things about race or different races of community. Based on the same culture and same race as well as the same environment where they grow up - They have the same empathy for the same things at the museum.
But I totally understand it's not the same situation in the United States. Because it's a country of immigrants, so here has so many race and even not the same culture. Then it's really important try to let everyone can understand what are museum saying. For visitors, it's important for them to learn stories that relevant to the communities they serve. cause In the development of museums, there is a great deal of disinterest and reluctance to participate, and there are many issues of color, so we're thinking that much of the reason for this indifference is that museums don't empathize with the visitor's point of view.
Tumblr media
“In 2000, museum leader Lonnie Bunch’s essay“Flies in the Buttermilk: Museums, Diversity, and the Will to Change”highlighted the lackof progress. (It is important to note that Bunchand colleagues of color have been raising theseissues for the many years they have been in thefield (Cole and Lott 2019). Studies funded byAAM (Farrell and Medvedeva 2010) and theMellon Foundation (Schonfield andWestermann 2015) tell the same story. In par-ticular the Mellon survey found:•A lack of diversity in professionalmuseum rolesthat did not reflect thedemographic composition of the US popu-lation•The existence of“structural barriers toentry in these positions for people ofcolor”(emphasis ours)While the Mellon study focused on diversityin art museums, two work force surveys conductedjointly by the Association of Science-TechnologyCenters (ASTC) and the Association of Chil-dren’s Museums (ACM) produced similar datafor the very low number of people of color in lead-ership positions in the science and children’smuseum sector (ASTC-ACM 2011, 2016).Silos: disparate attempts at inclusionSinceExcellence and Equity the field has mounted multiple efforts to achieve diversityand inclusion, as Jennings and Jones-Rizzi (2017, 66-67) recount: the hiring of people of color to be“community outreach coordinators;”the creation of diversity fellowships placing people of color in curatorial or management roles; temporary exhibitions featuring artists or scientists of color; grants to promote the at ten-dance of people of color at museum conferences.”[1]
Telling the story of the community as a unit of the museum will make people interested in their own community and then empathize with it, so they will be interested in the museum's storytelling. Museums serve the people so it's important to let people feel what they're talking about.
