In other words I don't need to interfere with what somebody else has going on because I'm in my own lane making sure my life is bright! I've never understood why someone deliberately tries to make someone else look bad to others. Jealousy? Envy? Desperation? Attention seeking? Listen, none of those look good on anyone, no matter how attractive they are, and they all have an unpleasant stench that others can smell. the show doesn't have to go on, it's enough to duck under the fame and the glory, since light redemption is a full time occupation once the Light of the Savior has made one's soul's purchase.

Just simple and quiet, as the day passes, ensuring the goodness required for the time doesn't miss a step. Even if it's frustrating for those around in a given moment, and even if they have power and authority over you and there's all the reasonings of unquestioning obedience that fog up all actual logic pressing in, just check if it's truly the Holy Spirit that's throwing the signal, and if it is, double down to keep leaning on the whisper rather than the self-will (multiple times within a single conversation when needed), and the truth will surely prove itself superior to the self-destructive compromise of frustrated outburst or snide remark reducing oneself to the lesser reason prevailing by force of power rather than divine authority.

Don't you ever be afraid to shine your light! There's been too many times I've made the mistake of trying to dim who I am to please others.
