why do my doctors keep putting me on multiple-times-a-day meds schedules i tell them over and over i can't remember that often but they keep doing it

#best i can do is ONCE a day and that's if i have a physical irl reminder that can't just be snoozed #I've been dealing with an ear infection for a few weeks now #and i know for a fact they have once-a-day eardrops for this because I've used them before #but my doctor keeps giving me THREE times a day eardrops and i keep fucking up the schedule so the infection comes back #and I've told her over and over i can't remember that often #i have too much other stuff going on to be ABLE to remember that shit #and she will. not. listen. #i get the feeling I'm being labeled as a noncompliant patient when my doctors literally just refuse to listen to my needs and disabilities #doctor moment #meds talk #ohhhhhh i just looked up something that made me Mad #so noncompliant is when a patient INTENTIONALLY refuses treatment #but non-ADHERENT is when its UNINTENTIONAL #but APPARENTLY 'mental illness' is one of the 'reasons' for noncompliant behaviour #SURE. considering how tumblr is generally pretty responsive to fixing or at least improving technical issues when they’re complained about en mass, it’s bizarre to me they haven’t gotten rid of tumblr live yet
