Things heard in the land of departure:
Riku: you know sometimes I think I’ve had enough of today. But then Roxas throws his keyblade full force at my head; Kairi manages to flood the training room while I’m the one babysitting trainees and I think “oh! I was wrong! Now I’ve had e-fucking-nough of today!”
Sora: it only kills me if I die!
Roxas: I regret to inform the council that I have settled on being the problem child today.
Aqua: if anyone needs me I’ll be screaming into the void.
Ven: you know, vanitas isn’t all that bad once you get to know him. he’s only tried to take over my entire being like… *starts counting on his fingers*
Sora: you gunna cry?! Oh, shit man your actually crying! Do you need to talk?
Isa: if I mutilate my face again do I still have to participate?
Roxas: 🎶 someone made my best friend cry, do da do da. That punk ass bitch is gunna die, oh do do da day🎶 *jazz hands*
Terra: I’ll admit, historically I have not always made decisions that place me on the moral high ground. Yet today I find myself with the absolute pleasure of getting to say “ I told you so!”
Aqua: *bodily hands Kairi to Riku like she’s a badly behaved cat* Take her before I do something everyone but me regrets.
Kairi: I’m my defence Lea said ‘probably not’ and he should really know better then to challenge me like that.
Sora: “oh sora, why aren’t you a master yet? Oh sora, when are you planning on retaking the mark of mastery?” Well Susan I’d actually planned on not almost dying every month of the year first!
Ven: It scares me that soon I’ll be the grown up kids need to take with them to Disney town.
Xion: wait no! Why does Kairi have a battle axe?!? Parlé, Parlé PARLÉ!!!!!
Riku: After some careful consideration I’ve decided to give up. Thank you for understanding.
Ven: why is the floor talking?!? *Terra pops up from behind a counter* oh, that’s why.
Lea: *after going toe to toe with Terra* “a little master vs student never hurt.” WRONG I am VeRy mUcH hUrT!
Roxas: People often ask me why I decided to train under Riku if I hate him so much. The answer is quite simple really, How else am I meant to ensure is suffering?
Xion: Master Aqua says that the gods give the hardest battles to the strongest soldier. What I wanna know is, is that legally binding? Cause I don’t remember signing shit!
Riku: I’d ask why you are covered in glitter, but at this point I’ve accepted my fate. *gets attacked by a glittery Sora and Kairi*
Isa: do you ever just… regret existence?
Lea: oh yeah, all the time!
Ven: today I made the mistake of telling Roxas to bite me… now I think I need stitches.
Sora: For all I’m famous for being able to fall asleep anywhere, I sure do be allergic to falling asleep in bed.
Ven & Roxas: mood.
Terra: I shall be unavailable until further notice. I’m not busy I’m just sick of looking at all of you.

Hello again 😏
I've been thinking about KH4 for a very long time now. I know it's years away or whatever and I will wait, but there's some things I REALLY want out of that game.
I want D-Links to come back. And I want to play as Riku for a considerable amount of time. IN FACT, I want Riku to be the only one with D-Links. And I want all the Keyblade Masters (Aqua, Terra, Ven, possibly Michael Mouse) as one of them PLUS Kairi. Not with Sora tho, cause it'll show his severed connection with him in Quadratum.
Summons don't make sense for Riku, so that's why I want him to have the D-Links.
And I want the story to converge kinda like KH3D. Riku has his path, and Sora has his and we play both. Then they meet up at the end to fuck up some villains (which is where we get Sora's D-Link 😌). But uh, yeah. I'm tired of just playing as Sora for the majority of the game. I need something new and the Remind DLC spoiled me by letting me play as anyone OTHER THAN Sora.
I don't think KH4 will be the last major numbered game. I really think it'll be 5, cause the Roman numeral (V) looks like the bottom half of a heart. And if not... 😒 Nomura, baby, idk how many more $60 games you can milk outta KH.
But uh yeah. Can't wait for KH: Missing Link & KH4. I can't wait to see this fandom alive again.
Tumblr media
Need Sora to get a part time job too, slinging burgers. Have it be a mini game. Papa's Burgeria Style 🫵🏽😐

Glittering Cotton Candy
Marinette was so excited to eat delicious cotton candy sprinkled with edible glitter. It fit her aesthetic perfectly; the only problem was there were two large lines for the sweet treat, one for blueberry cotton candy and another for strawberry cotton candy. But Marinette still waited excitedly and even spoke with the children in line with her. At one point, she couldn't help but let the children go ahead of her because she knew her time was coming up.
The strawberry cotton candy was given out by a gentleman with pink hair. The blueberry cotton candy was given out by a man with blue hair, and the man with blue hair was busy attending to someone else.
"Would you like some blueberry cotton candy with plenty of sparkles, young man?"
"Yes, sir!"
Marinette recognized that suave voice anywhere.
"Luka!" Marinette beamed.
Before Luka could take his sparkly blue cotton, he turned and smiled brightly at Marinette. "Hey Marinette!"
Marinette started to blush as pink as strawberry cotton candy, and Luka smiled down at her but tried to break the silence by clearing his throat.
"It's great to see you here," he said.
"Y-Yes!" Marinette cried. The vendor for the pink cotton candy handed her a pretty pink cotton candy on a stick.
"Strawberry flavored mademoiselle?"
Marinette quickly turned and smiled sheepishly. "Yes, sir! I appreciate it!" She took the cotton candy and handed a dollar to the kind gentleman.
Marinette was relieved to finally have her cotton candy, but she also thanked her lucky stars that she met Luka at the perfect time and that Luka liked cotton candy with glitter too! The two of them decided to eat the flowers.
Marinette kept twirling her cotton candy so the edible glitter could sparkle in the sunlight, and then she was ready to eat.
"I have been waiting for this all day!" Marinette cried before taking a bite from the soft treat and savoring the sweet taste.
Luka smiled at her before taking a bite of his own blueberry candy. The sparkles made the treat extra special, but it was nowhere near as beautiful as Marinette.
"So worth it!" Marinette cried.
Then she turned to Luka and walked up to him. Her eyes glittered like cotton candy, as if the cotton candy had magic power.
"Luka?"
Luka paused from eating. "Yes Marinette?"
Marinette placed her hands together. "Can I please share cotton candy with you?"
Luka's aqua-blue eyes shined down on her.
“Of course Marinette.”
Marinette squealed and traded her strawberry candy with his blueberry candy, and Marinette picked a piece off to eat it.
"Mmm! Blueberry!" Marinette cried.
Luka hid his blushing face behind the cotton candy and took a small piece to taste the delicious strawberry flavor.
It was a lovely day at the carnival. But then Marinette and Luka's phones went off simultaneously for Akuma alerts. Marinette couldn't help but whine because another Akuma was trying to ruin a good day. But she didn't want Luka chasing after her and putting himself in danger, so she clenched her fist and ran in the other direction.
"Marinette no!" Luka cried as he tried to run after her.
Marinette turned as she ran away and looked at him with a sorrowful look that caused Luka to stop.
"I'm sorry, Luka!"
Marinette turned and continued running. She thought about the heartbreaking look on his face.
Luka dropped the pink cotton candy he took from Marinette, and Sass appeared to quickly eat the cotton candy for energy. When Sass finished eating, he flew in front of Luka's face, and Luka snapped out of it.
"It's time to transform Master Luka!" Sass said.
Luka nodded. "Yes!" And he took the snake kwami and ran to a private place where he could transform.
Marinette panted as she leaned against a tree, and even before she fought the Akuma, she was tired and dropped the blueberry cotton candy she was holding. Tikki appeared and enjoyed a piece of the glittering blue cotton candy. But then she looked up and saw how heartbroken Marinette was. The red kwami floated up and gave Marinette a reassuring look. Marinette felt the need to set her worries to the side.
"Don't worry Marinette! You can transform and protect Luka!"
Marinette blinked and then allowed Tikki to perch on her hands. "Ok Tikki!"
"Spots on!"
Viperion was ready for anything but was utterly taken aback when he saw the Akuma menace from afar. He was so stunned that it took Ladybug swinging in and landing next to him to get him to snap out of it.
"Viperion, what's wrong?"
Viperion only gave Ladybug an upset look, and then Ladybug saw a pink cotton candy Akuma, causing commotion for everyone at the carnival.
"You got to be kidding me!" Ladybug cried.
Viperion frowned. "Maybe a child really wanted some cotton candy."
Ladybug thought about how she had let some children go ahead of her to get some cotton candy, and unbeknownst to her, Luka had also let some children go ahead of him. Both heroes came to the conclusion that someone is having a bad day.
Viperion summoned his harp. "Don't worry! I can soothe anyone who is hurt." And he jumped off.
"Viperion wait!" Ladybug jumped after him.
The cotton candy Akuma was causing everyone to scream as cotton candy made everything in the carnival sticky. Viperion told everyone to run, and then he faced the Akuma while running his fingers through his harp. The Akuma noticed but didn't seem phased by Viperion's beautiful melody.
"Please don't ruin the carnival for everyone, oh troubled heart," Viperion said as he played with more vigor.
Ladybug had to stop being infatuated, but having a hero like Viperion around can make everything feel alright and make it easy to see the silver lining in the future.
But then Ladybug realized the Akuma was too strong as Viperion's music didn't phase it. The troubled Akuma turned the green trees cotton candy pink with dark magic.
"Oh no, the trees!" But Ladybug paused as a sweet scent filled her nose. It was almost hypnotic.
"They smell like candy!" Ladybug cried.
Then Ladybug and Viperion turned to see children walking towards the cotton candy trees, looking like they were all in trances. Both heroes cried in distress and pleaded for the children to come to their senses, but a few started climbing the trees. Ladybug and Viperion tried to pull them off, but the children cried out and refused.
Ladybug wouldn't give up because seeing delicious cotton candy used for evil was heartbreaking. But at a distance, she saw more trees turning baby blue like Luka's favorite cotton candy and another akuma, made of blueberry cotton candy, heading toward them.
Ladybug glared and twirled her yo-yo. "I won't let that Akuma get any closer!" And Ladybug ran off.
"Ladybug!" Viperion cried.
But before Viperion could reach her, the pink Akuma monster knocked Viperion down with a pile of cotton candy that was a lot denser than cotton candy that dissolved on your tongue. Viperion growled as he got up and pulled the sticky cotton candy off him.
Ladybug faced the giant blue Akuma and twirled her yo-yo swiftly.
"I won't let you ruin everyone's day!" Ladybug cried as she threw her yo-yo to lasso the creature.
Ladybug pulled, but she captured a giant glob of blue stuff that launched into her. She had to dig herself out and pull some blueberry-scented candy from her red suit.
"Ladybug!" Viperion cried as he placed his hands on her shoulders from behind.
Ladybug looked intently at the two akumas, seemingly stuck in their own world of sickly sweetness.
"What could possibly be troubling these two?" Ladybug asked.
Viperion got in front of her and played his harp again. But instead of trying to dispel the Akuma's powers, he closed his eyes. The snake hero attempted to understand what the two troubled akumas were trying to convey. He hoped the two akumas would open up to them.
“Want….Cotton candy…”
Both Ladybug and Viperion were stunned.
"Glittery cotton candy…"
"I want…"
Ladybug understood and quickly summoned her lucky charm. And today's lucky charm was simple: two paper cotton candy cones, one with ladybug spots and another with snake scales. She handed the cone with the snake scales to Viperion, and Viperion knew what to do.
The two heroes switched directions, and Viperion faced the blue Akuma while Ladybug faced the pink Akuma. Both heroes presented their cones.
"Please let me have some cotton candy," Ladybug and Viperion said in unison.
The two cotton candy creatures growled at Ladybug and Viperion. Still, both heroes raised their hands in protest and gave genuine looks of concern.
"Please, little one…" Ladybug said.
"It doesn't have to be this way," Viperion said.
Ladybug and Viperion presented the paper cones, and the akumas gave them a generous portion of cotton candy. And with a bit of magic, the cotton candy glittered like snow.
Ladybug and Viperion quickly changed targets, and Ladybug and Viperion smiled as they gifted different flavors of cotton candy to the Akumas.
"Go ahead and take it," Ladybug said.
But Ladybug and Viperion both yelped when the akumas forcibly took the cotton candy. There was silence for a moment, and then, with a "poof!" right before their eyes, the cotton candy akumas disappeared, revealing two children holding the cotton candy sticks. Ladybug and Viperion took notice of the dark butterflies flying around, and both caught the dark butterflies in their hands and purified them with their magic, changing them back into gentle white butterflies that flew away.
"Goodbye butterflies," Viperion said.
Ladybug couldn't help but notice that Viperion sounded a bit melancholy when he said that, but then she saw the two children, who were akumatized, happily running back to their respective parents. Viperion turned to Ladybug, and Ladybug snapped herself out of it and called upon the magical ladybugs.
"Don't worry! Easy fix! The ladybugs will love to take care of all this cotton candy," Ladybug said.
The magical ladybugs did make quick work, happily eating all the cotton candy and restoring the trees back into emerald green leaves. Viperion managed to smile again.
"Thank you, Ladybug," Viperion said.
Ladybug blushed and placed her hand behind her head. “No problem Viperion.”
Then, Viperion gestured to her to take a walk with him, and Ladybug eagerly followed.
It was nice for them to walk together, but Ladybug was reminded of the two cotton candy vendors.
"Hey Viperion, are you sick of eating cotton candy?"
"Hm?" Viperion asked. He pondered for a moment, but then he chuckled into his hand. "Surprisingly, no."
"Really?" Ladybug cried.
As the two heroes walked, they both took notice of the two cotton candy vendors selling cotton candy again as if a sugar nightmare hadn't nearly destroyed the carnival.
Ladybug and Viperion stood momentarily, watching the vendors happily give everyone a cotton candy. But eventually, the vendors noticed the two heroes and happily ran up to them with paper cones of glittering cotton candy.
"Hello there, Ladybug and Viperion!" Said the vendor with the pink hair.
Ladybug raised her hand and felt awkward. "Oh hello Sir!"
The cotton candy vendor with the blue hair smiled next to Viperion. "Would you two children like some cotton candy?"
Ladybug and Viperion were stunned, but they giggled softly after a minute of silence.
"Of course!" Viperion said.
The two vendors smiled, but then they looked at each other before looking back at Ladybug at Viperion.
"Would either of you want strawberry," asked the pink-haired vendor.
"Or blueberry," The blue-haired vendor chimed in.
Ladybug placed her fingers on her chin and pondered. "I think I will have strawberry!"
Viperion grinned. "Blueberry is my favorite."
Ladybug enthusiastically ate the beautiful pink cotton candy, and Viperion couldn't help but watch his partner enjoy the strawberry fluff. Then Ladybug noticed Viperion staring at her, and he took a bite out of his blueberry candy cloud.
The two of them ended up sitting by the flowers, eating their cotton candy together and enjoying each other's company.
But both heroes couldn't help but notice that this all felt awfully familiar…
Although both Ladybug and Viperion didn't think about it further as they happily shared their cotton candy with each other. Almost breaking out into a cotton candy fight.
As heroes, a fun cotton candy fight sounded much better than fighting Akumas every week.

(It's the angst anon again! The one who brings all the guda angst prompts!) This time it's a gudako that is tired of being the last master of humanity that just wants to be someone else for one day. So she starts to lean in heavily to the other roles. One week she's "Christine". The next she acts like what she believes to be the perfect wife for Morgan (Morgan does not like it). In between she juggles being a good daughter for Raikou and mother for Jack. And then a different role and another role. Taking them on until it is clear that the servant has gotten sick of the act and she moves on to the next (she does still continue to be the master when needed, so most just let it happen so long as it makes her happy).
One week she's finally confronted by non other than Oberon when she tries to take on the role of "titania" and (in his own confusing way) tells him to just give up the act and be herself, be "ritsuka fujimaru".
She simply stares blankly. And states "but I don't know how to be "Ritsuka Fujimaru""
Concept is really interesting!
Having more than one role is necessary for life right? You could be someone’s teacher, someone’s mother, someone’s daughter, someone’s lover, someone’s inspiration, someone’s envy, someone’s savior, someone’s rival, someone’s friend.
To Fujimaru, who wants to attain a normal life at best and be with her friends and current family, i think she definitely try her best to be “someone” for them.
Since shes no longer in her “normal everyday life”, all her previous friends and family must be like hazy figures at best, and at worst, she can no longer remember who they are. Only by records and data in her medical profile and data about her.
To take on a role is to discard something first, sacrifice something first. To be that “someone” who can fulfill that person’s desires and in which they seek, she has to make room for things to take place inside her. Shes limited, she’s human in the end after all.
I havent read what titania acts like in shakespeare’s story but she’s a concept right? Only fiction, only derived from inspiration. But she’s compassionate and loyal, head strong, a little like ritsuka that she doesnt have to change much. Yet she does anyways but maybe acts as someone who feels like a fairy, not one, but just feels like it.
If you watched read oshi no ko, you’d know akane-chan right? She studied Ai’s personality and background so much that when she acted out “her”, Aqua was seriously speechless. I think thats a scenario i want to do between oberon and fujimaru ritsuka in this concept.
Playing a role so perfectly you can’t distinguish what is mask and what is face that when you ask them to stop, stop this at once. You are not her. You will never be her. So stay as “you” are. This play pretend is sickening. It’s as vile as the Abyss, as vile as you. So just be “Fujimaru Ritsuka” goddamnit. That Fujimaru Ritsuka who fought and in the incineration of humanity, that ritsuka who held on too much even if it was painful and the goodbye was inevitable. Just be that for fuck’s sake.
Just be you.
A graceful tap of a finger on her lips in a pondering manner, Ritsuka hums and smiles, “I’m afraid I don’t know what you mean, Oberon.” Even her speech, even the way she sits, it was similar to how Aurora acted, similar to how “Titania” acted.
You know what I just fucking said. Quit acting like her or are you seriously dea-
Then, the mask was dropped.
What Oberon saw was a void of a “person”, blank in its entirety, its face shaped to fit an expression, a feeling to suit the atmosphere, to appease and smile for show.
“I’m sorry,” A hollow voice, lacking a role, lacking a purpose, lacking the feelings that are connected to it. Another person- entity so different from the other personalities adopted and developed in these past years.
An original replaced, shredded, put together, used, discarded, leaving behind nothing but its shell still somehow conscious and moving of its own volition.
“But I don’t know how to be that person anymore.”

Aqua. Aqua!! The new chapter!!!!! It was so good!!!! The writing! Superb! The angst! The rescue! The relief! The ENDING!!! Of both sections!!! I was so emotionally invested reading it, it literally used a good deal of my energy and now I am Tired!!! the secret is OUT!! Bravo is MAD!! You Do Not Touch one of the hermits-and-adjacent-friends!! Bravo killing himself to escape atlas and ending up at spawn! The F*CKING PARALLELS!!!!! I’m going insane!!! (Good) aaaaAaAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!
Absolutely captivated by the fact that we all thought it was gonna be the DL players rescuing Tango, but now the secrets out!! And it might end up being tango leading the DL players to rescue Bravo instead!! What a twist!! What a marvellous switch!!! A masterful play of expectations!! I cannot wait for the extremely emotionally charged conversations to follow!!!!! I reacted out loud when atlas got away!!!
I’m sure I will have more words as I get to Process this absolutely beautiful piece of art, but for now, your fans are feral abt this au, and we are always hungry for more. Take as much time as you need to work on the next piece, we are certain to love it. Thank you so much, this was such a wonderful surprise!
heheheh i’m SO glad i was able to keep things interesting. i’ve always felt that a story, if done well, can still be impactful even if the audience guesses what’s going to happen. so i don’t mind when ppl correctly guess future plot points, but at the same time it’s neat to pull off a few twists here and there ;3
and thank you, this prob was sadly the last update i’ll get out before summer ends so the response has been very encouraging. we’re actually getting quite close to the end of ‘from eden’ as i have just three more parts planned (ofc that’s not including the post-canon drabbles i may or may not feel inclined to write). and i have to stick to only three more updates bc i’ve run out of lyrics in the song to use as titles hagsjdgah

For the fanfic ask, Terra meeting Hoder and or Baldr?
(For this)
Both!! He can meet both!
--
Terra…thought he was dreaming, probably.  The last thing he could remember, he’d been talking to Ven and Aqua in one of the common rooms, trying not to fall asleep.  He didn’t think he could’ve been transported to an entirely new world without him realizing it—least of all one that looked like this.
It was pretty, at least—a long stretch of water, brushing almost seamlessly against the sky, flickers of light rippling across the waves, almost star-like.  He tread across the water carefully; something about this place said he should be quiet, and so he did, maneuvering carefully around the flecks of starlight.
A quiet whispering started—something barely perceptible, anytime he got too close to the stars.  It made his skin prickle, the sensation feeling a little too much like he was trailing close to ghosts.
            “Who are you?”
The voice wasn’t loud, but it was loud enough to startle him, barely stifling his shout as he jumped away.  A star shone near his waist; they were so hard to see that he must’ve missed it without meaning to.
It took him a moment to fully register the question, and another to work up the courage to actually answer: “Terra.”
The star spun slowly; he wondered if that was good or bad.  “Terra.  Are you a dreamer?  You don’t seem to be like us.”
“I…guess so?  What do you mean, like us?”  He glanced around the sea of stars with a faint frown.
            “We’re…not alive anymore.”
Terra snapped towards the star, a shiver prickling up his spine.  “All of you…?”  He glanced back at the star field.  “This is a…weird dream.”
The star (ghost?) laughed quietly.  “I suppose so.”
            “How did you…?”
He realized too late that “How did you die?” might not be an appropriate question to ask, but the ghost didn’t seem offended; they—she?—answered with the same steady calmness: “An accident.  During my preparation for the Mark of Mastery exam.”
“Mark of—?  You’re a Keyblade wielder?”
“I was, yes.”  Curiosity, now, the star shining a little brighter.  “Are you?”
“Yeah.  My friend and I—we’re getting ready to take the exam ourselves.”  Terra paused.  “But I didn’t think it was supposed to be dangerous.”  It certainly didn’t seem like Master Eraqus intended it to be.
“It might not be anymore.  It wasn’t supposed to be then.  But…”  She trailed off.
Terra…didn’t really know what to say to that.  “I’m sorry.”
“It’s alright.  It was a long time ago.”  A little warmth entered her voice as she added, “It’s good to see there are still wielders, though.”
            “Who’s your Master?”
That voice was new—whisper-quiet, so low Terra almost didn’t hear it.  Upon closer inspection he realized there was a second star, hovering just behind the first.  He craned his neck to get a better look; it felt more polite.  “We’re training under Master Eraqus.”
“Eraqus…?”  The star flickered a little.  “He took on students?”
Terra’s heart stuttered a little.  He hadn’t really thought about it, but—but if these were deceased Keyblade wielders, then—  “Did you know my Master?”
“We trained together.”  The star brightened a little, then dimmed.  “Is he…doing okay?”
“Yeah,” Terra said, and maybe that was too quick, because something in the back of his mind pressed upon him the quiet days—the days when Eraqus would retreat into a room by himself, when he would look tired and lost, when he would sit outside and stare aimlessly for hours at a time.
“Does he…talk about his classmates at all?  About what happened?”
The ghost sounded so tentative, like he was scared of the answer.  Terra guessed he couldn’t blame him; he’d want to know if his friends still remembered him, after he was gone.  The answer lodged in his throat, because…Eraqus hadn’t really mentioned his old friends.  Anytime his past was brought up, he’d go quiet, then gently urge them onto other topics.  It’d been frustrating as a kid, trying to understand more about the legacy he was inheriting.
(He remembered, once, when he was younger, hearing Eraqus whisper names when he thought Terra couldn’t hear.  He’d taken them and pressed them into his memories; scraps of a past he didn’t know, but that he wanted to understand.)
His silence must’ve lasted too long, because the ghost continued, “That’s…okay.  That’s…better, may—”
            “Baldr.”
            The star broke off.
“Baldr,” Terra repeated, trying to scrounge the names from his memories.  “Bragi.  Vor.  Uh…Hermod.  And Urd?”  He smiled sheepishly and hope desperately that the ghost didn’t ask him to produce stories; he had nothing but names to give.
The star flickered, bright then dim.  “Oh.”  He pulled away, and Terra’s eyebrows furrowed, uncertain where he’d gone wrong.
“Please forgive my brother,” the first star said, and Terra snapped towards it again.  “Memories of the past are…painful, sometimes.”
“Yeah,” Terra agreed, thinking of his Master.  “Do you, uh…want company?  Until I wake up.”  It felt like the least he could do, if he upset them.
The ghost sounded almost amused when she responded: “If you want to.  And maybe you could tell us how your training with Eraqus is going?  For my brother’s sake.”
Terra managed a small smile and sat.  “I think I can do that.”

thinking about how the plots of Birth By Sleep were "old man lovebombs a teenager so that he can get inside his body", "my adoptive siblings/parents are fighting and it's making me sad", and "jesus christ i'm so fucking tired of unversed i just want to go home and tell Terra to stop hanging out with that old guy", and then it all culminates in every main character getting banished to either limbo or hell for however many years it takes for KH3 to happen, doubling the amount of Sora or Sora-adjacent people there are in the plot in the process. also Aqua's plot only really ends if you buy the 60 dollar remake that has one game, one tech demo, and a whole ass movie. i think it's the best non numbered game in the series, but the plot is just... wacko. and also Pete is there? for some reason? because him and Maleficent can't stand to be out of the picture for a single game? at this point i'm not gonna be surprised if Pete kills Lu-xigbar and reveals himself to be the Master of Masters.

Impatience (Aqua x Reader)
Request:would u write an aquaxreader based right after kh 3 please ? (not platonic tho)
Word count: 1.2k
Tw:blood for like 5 seconds?
notes:Sorry for the wait, I had a long week at work this week, and I'll be honest. I haven’t written at all in like 6 years now. I’m really excited to get back to writing though!
You took in a shaky breath as you lowered my keyblade. Was it truly over? Was Xehanort really beaten? Does that mean that you finally get to rest? Finally, after 10 years? Your body ached in ways you hadn't even realized was possible. The battle had been the toughest thing you had ever done. You took a quick glance towards your friends. They all looked as beaten down and tired as you felt. Each and every one of them had fought their hardest. And they all had your respect for that. Especially Roxas, Riku, and Sora. Kairi too. They all had either little or no training, and they fought with ferocity. Like they were desperate to prove themselves. I turned to my other side, glancing at my old friends. Aqua, Terra, and Ven. They had all fought hard too. Aqua and Ven had been on a warpath to reunite our little friend group. You don’t think you had seen your friends that mad since… well ever. Definitely not any time before you had decided to stay in the room with Ven for the last 10 years. It felt absolutely wild to you that 10 years had passed since then.
Wow, maybe the adrenaline was talking but your thoughts were definitely going a mile a minute. And that became painfully obvious when the group broke off, milling about to check over themselves and their friends for any lasting injuries that hadn’t been healed or noticed before. Ventus and Terra were deep in conversation while Aqua started her way over to you. Now this brings on a silly little problem, which honestly after everything you went through kinda feels stupid. You had a big crush on the keyblade master. You had been hopelessly crushing on her since you were teens under Eraqus’s tutelage. You’d been meaning to confess and just get it over with, but it just never felt like the right time. She had either been busy with keyblade training, or she had just… not been alone. And by the light, if you were going to get rejected you definitely did NOT want an audience to your humiliation.
The thing about a near-death experience is that it really puts things into perspective, and makes you realize you may not have time to wait until that elusive perfect moment. Maybe you should just suck it up and confess to her now? You made eye contact with Aqua and immediately felt any blood that had stubbornly stayed in your body during the war immediately rush towards your face. The other thing about a near-death experience is it makes you think crazy and stupid things that you should absolutely NOT do because it could destroy your friendships you quickly decided.
Aqua made it to you within seconds. “(Y/n)..” she muttered, gently putting her hands on your face. Oh god. You could die right here and you’d be happy. “When’d you get this?” Aqua asked. You were suddenly aware of a painful sting on your forehead. Oh. You must have taken a hit in battle and not even realized it. You didn’t even get a chance to answer her before she was casting curaga.
“Thanks. I appreciate it.” You told her. Okay come on (Y/N), you can do this. “Actually Aqua. I uh... Wanted to ask you something.” There, if you throw yourself in the deep end you have no choice but to confess. No chickening out. At least that’s what you want to believe.
“Oh, what would you like to ask?” Aqua asked, pulling her hands back. Her head cocked slightly to the side, making her hair cover her matching eyes slightly. Her gaze held such a softness in it, a stark contrast to the way her eyes had been just an hour ago, narrowed in the desperate analyzing way that battle called for. I was almost tempted to brush the hair out of her face, she’d probably let me. We had been friends for so long.
Friends. Focus. That’s what you were doing! “Aqua, I uh. I’ve been meaning to ask you something for a while now.” You started. You could feel butterflies in your stomach, twisting and turning. Why was this the most nerve-wracking thing you had done today? “Aqua I-”
Another thing about near-death experiences. They tend to bring into perspective how short life is. In other words, they tend to make you impatient. Maybe that’s why you didn’t get to finish that sentence before you were cut off.   “(Y/n), would you like to go out sometime?” Aqua suddenly blurted out. Even she seemed surprised by it. You must have looked incredibly disappointed at losing your chance to ask because she quickly backpedaled. “I’m sorry I just wanted to ask since I came back from the Realm of Darkness and it’s okay if you don’t want to.” she began to ramble “No, no it’s not that it’s just, I got so caught up in preparing to confess, and I was just about to, but then you beat me there!” you threw back your head in a laugh. Aqua’s shoulders quaked as she joined you, laughing yourself to tears. Seems like you weren’t the only one who had been waiting for the perfect moment.
“So I take that as a yes?” Aqua asked as her laughs stilled. She looked at you with such a softness, you immediately felt warm. You put your hands on her cheeks and paused, hesitating.
“I uh… was about to answer with a kiss but, also I realize that might be moving too fast” you admitted, letting out a nervous chuckle.
You didn’t get a verbal answer to your question, as Aqua instead decided to move her head closer. She closed the gap and locked your lips, pulling you as close as she could. Time felt like it had stopped. The two of you were only aware of each other in the moment.
You stood next to Aqua on the beach, laying your head on her shoulder. You grinned as you watched Terra, Roxas, and Riku charge past you. “I put 10 munny on Terra winning.” You said, grinning widely as you glanced at Aqua. Your girlfriend, (God that word sounded amazing. Like it was the perfect word to describe her. It just felt right) shook her head and grinned a little, though she was quick to correct her features.
“You know I don’t gamble,” Aqua said, lightly pushing your head off her shoulder. You stumbled for a minute at the loss of support.
“It’s not like it's a casino,” you mumbled, following her as she walked towards the boys, now at the finish line of their race. Sure enough, Terra had won. From the corner of your eyes, you could also see Ven pull away from playing frisbee with Lea and Isa. Yeah, near-death experiences can make you have stupid and reckless ideas, but maybe, sometimes you get so caught up in your head, so caught up in what might go wrong. That you forget to stop and think about how an idea might go right. Honestly, you wish you had confessed sooner. You stood next to Aqua, slipping your hand into hers. You looked to the side and watched the sunset, feeling completely at peace.

War of Hearts
Chapter 2
Enter: Vanitas
The castle walls seemed to loom over you as you made your way through the grand hall, the distant sound of your friends’ voices and laughter ricocheting off the dense stone and echoing back to you as you traveled at a slower pace behind them. Your muscles ached slightly from your morning exercises, and your eyes still burned from lack of sleep. To be perfectly honest, you were dreading meeting your Master’s former peer and his pupil solely because your tired mind was struggling to even form complete thoughts. You were sure to make quite the impression on them at this rate. A dull headache began forming behind your eyes, and you pulled your hair free from its tie in an effort to ease the pressure.
A streak of black flickered in your periphery, making your heart race as memories of pressing shadows rushed back into your head. You gasped and spun towards the source, brow furrowed as you looked around at the blank stone of the corridor, spotting nothing out of the ordinary. ‘Lack of sleep must be getting to me,’ you thought to yourself, hand clutched to your chest as you tried to calm down from your momentary fright. You continued on, shaking your head at your own paranoia. You brushed off the uncomfortable feeling of being watched, attributing it to your exhausted state.
The sounds of your comrades’ voices grew louder as you approached the grand room where Master Eraqus held the exams and important meetings. You quietly slipped into place beside Ven, placing your hand gently on his shoulder to alert him of your presence. He shot you a bright smile, his contagious enthusiasm lightening the weight on your heart and making you return it with a small smile of your own. Aqua and Terra spoke in low tones on Ven’s other side, but you weren’t able to catch the details of their discussion. The echoing of boots on the stone floor had you turning towards the front of the room, watching as Master Eraqus made his way to address you, followed by an older, harsh looking man. His head was bare, and his deeply tanned skin was a stark contrast to the white beard he sported. His sharp yellow gaze seemed to pierce through you, making you shiver as his eyes landed on you. The small grin he gave you made your skin crawl, your instincts making you quickly break eye contact, only for your own gaze to land on the figure trailing behind him.
Your breath caught in your throat at the sight of the, presumably, young male. Even though he was across the room, you could sense the dark power radiating from his being. He was tall like Terra, with a tight bodysuit that hugged the curves and ridges of his muscles. The suit was so black it seemed to consume the light around it, with red lines outlining it in a way that alluded to what hid underneath the material. When you pulled your gaze from his impressive physique, you immediately noticed that his face was entirely covered by a mask so opaque you could see the room reflected in it. An uneasy feeling settled in your stomach as you took in both of the strangers, and you knew you weren’t the only one that was put off by the darkness they both seemed to emanate. Aqua had shifted into a less care-free stance and Terra’s hand was now gripping his Keyblade, although he held it downward so as not to seem like a direct threat. Even Ventus had lost some of his bright, excitable energy and was now eyeing the old man and the masked male warily.
When the trio stopped a few feet from you, Master Eraqus addressed you in a deceptively positive tone. “My pupils, it is my pleasure to introduce you to an old friend and comrade of mine, Master Xehanort.” You reluctantly drew your gaze back to the older man, stiffening when you noticed the way he seemed to be sizing up Ventus next to you, an unsettling grin twisting his features almost menacingly. You had to physically force your body not to step in front of him defensively as you didn’t want to offend your Master or his guests. Master Xehanort chuckled to himself before speaking, his deep and gravelly voice grating against your ears like nails on a chalkboard.
“Your Master speaks highly of the four of you, so I look forward to assessing your abilities. I have high expectations,” he stated plainly. “I’ve brought my own student, Vanitas, in the hopes that you might learn from him and he from you.” His comment prompted a harsh scoff from the masked boy next to him, and you saw the grin slip from Master Xehanort’s face for a split second before he schooled his expression to a smaller and noticeably tighter smile. You had always thought of yourself as particularly perceptive, and you were sure you saw something dark flash through his eyes in the short moment his expression changed. You shifted your attention to Vanitas, jolting slightly when you noticed him seemingly looking directly at you.
He tilted his head, and even though his mask hid his features you could feel his intense gaze focused on you. You shivered involuntarily once again, however this time it wasn’t due to feeling uneasy. You couldn’t quite name the feeling that washed over you, something foreign but not wholly unpleasant. You gathered yourself, realizing that your demeanor had been anything but welcoming thus far, and gave Vanitas a small smile in the hopes that it would ease the tension in the air. He huffed a humorless, short laugh before turning his head away so that he no longer appeared focused solely on you. Your smile faltered, and you clasped your hands in front of you and began to awkwardly fidget with your fingers as you turned your attention back to Master Eraqus. ‘Well, that was weird…’
As much as you respected your Master, and you truly did, you couldn’t bring yourself to pay much attention to his long winded recap of his time training with Master Xehanort. Your gaze kept flickering from Eraqus to Vanitas unconsciously, though the masked stranger hadn’t turned his head back in your direction. It wasn’t until the old man himself spoke that your focus snapped back. “I look forward to our time together. I hope it will prove to be… fruitful,” he croaked. You couldn’t help but wonder what the heck that was supposed to mean, and you were decidedly not a fan of the tone of voice he used to address your group.
“Master Xehanort will be staying in the vacant room in the west wing of the castle, and Vanitas will be using the extra room in the students’ wing. I expect that you all will be gracious hosts and help him feel comfortable during their stay with us,” Master Eraqus explained, looking at each of you pointedly. It took you a moment longer than it should have to realize where, exactly, Vanitas would be staying. The only empty room on that side of the castle was at the very end of the hallway, directly across from yours.
As though he read your mind, Master Eraqus called your name and spoke, “would you be so kind as to show Vanitas to his quarters?”
“Of course, Master,” you responded respectfully. You glanced over at the masked man and smiled once again, albeit nervously. He stepped forward, his intense presence making you want to shrink back but you held your ground. “This way,” you said as you headed out the doors and into the labyrinth of halls that made up the castle. You heard Aqua politely strike up a conversation with Master Xehanort, asking about his travels. Her comforting voice faded as you made your way deeper into the castle.
Vanitas was so silent at first, you could barely even hear him walking behind you. However, you could somehow feel his gaze focused on you despite the fact that he was out of your line of sight and wearing a mask. It made you incredibly self conscious, but you fought to keep your gait steady and your demeanor confident. You had a feeling you did not want this guy to see you as a weak link. This, of course, didn’t go to plan. As you rounded a corner and headed towards your rooms he decided to speak up for the first time.
“So, princess,” you jumped noticeably at his sudden words, and you didn’t miss the quiet chuckle he gave in response. “How exactly do you expect to become a Keyblade Master while you’re trapped in this shiny castle?” His voice was deep with a sharp edge to it, a hint of throatiness as he finished his sentence that had you hanging on his words. You stopped in front of his door before turning to him.
“Well… Our training grounds are outside. I’d be happy to show you once you get settled,” you offered evenly, not wanting to dig too deeply into what his words actually implied. He tilted his masked head at you, seemingly dissatisfied with your answer. He scoffed,
“What a waste.” You bit your tongue at his comment, not looking to start a fight with someone you had just met 15 minutes ago. He shrugged dismissively then, saving you from having to respond.
“Anyways,” You introduced yourself to him, although you had a feeling he probably couldn’t care less what your name was. “I stay in that room there,” you point at the door directly across the hall. “You’re welcome to let me know if you need anything.”
“Gonna give me full access to your room already, sweetheart?” Vanitas asked, his voice dipping dangerously and making you blush at the implication.
“W-well, no. I just meant– if you…” you stammered, cringing at the heat you felt creeping up your neck and into your face. You clasped your hands in front of you, once again fidgeting awkwardly with your fingers.
“I know what you meant,” he replied dryly, his heated tone gone. At that, he turned and opened the door to his room, looking back at you momentarily to add. “Just make sure you lock your doors at night, we wouldn’t want any monsters sneaking in.” His door closing harshly echoed the way your heart beat against your ribs. You stood dumbly for a long moment before rushing into your own room, leaning against your closed door once you were inside. You rubbed at your still-red face, thoughts racing as you wondered who, exactly, Master Eraqus had invited into the place you called home.
You sighed in frustration before reaching over to lock your door.
A/N: So, as you can see, I took some liberties with both the layout of the castle and Vanitas in general. As far as the castle goes, I'm kind of out of touch with the specifics of BBS and I honestly couldn't tell you what kind of layout it has, if we even know it at all. In this story, Vanitas and the reader are both somewhere in their 20s because I'm a grown woman and I prefer an aged up and mature Vanitas for obvious reasons.

Mainly Aqua being her arrogant self as she thinks Link belongs to her. Meanwhile Darkness and her masochist self keeps think Link as her sadist master. At least Megumin didn't ruin the moment... then again maybe it is because Link is carrying her on his back after she used all her Mana earlier.
Link: I am glad that you are safe and sound, Zelda.
Smiling, the Princess of Hyrule and Wielder of the Tri-Force of Wisdom look at the Champion of Hyrule and the Wielder of Tri-Force of Courage
Zelda: And I've you to thank for saving me. Because Hyrule and myself are forever in debt with y-
Whatever Zelda about to say was rudely been interrupted by the loud and whiny voice and Link to the shock of Zelda made a face of pure and utter dread and digust.
Link: Hyrule damnit no...

And then she saw a tall blonde-haired woman with a well-built and buxom figure clad in heavy plate armor. She was awe how beautiful and stunning the woman was and Zelda was worried at the moment she lost her chance to get with him...until the woman open her mouth.
Darkness: Oh Master Link. Please punish this lowly slave you dark knight~!!!!

Kaixi and 23?
The other one I found in my inbox!
…in relief.
Xion might be the most insane person Kairi knew.
(and she was best friends with Sora and Riku, so that wasn’t something she said lightly)
It had seemed like such a good idea to start training alongside her - Aqua a good Master, even if she seemed to treat Xion with a lot less caution than Kairi. She was tired of needing protection, and Aqua sometimes still put her Princess status over her Keyblade Wielder one.
But even with that issue, the training was good.
Going into her first actual mission with Xion, however, quickly proved that perhaps there was more Sora in her than Kairi actually realized.
It had all started extremely simple - the two of them needed to go to a beach world to research the weird Keyblade guys in animal costumes that Terra had come across recently. But Keyblade wielders had this thing where they often ended up meddling in things they shouldn’t, and somehow they ended up helping this cool Princess of Heart Moana with a problem.
And because sometimes things worked like that, there was some sort of quest island that they needed to solve stuff to go forward.
And Xion just THREW HERSELF OFF A CLIFF TO CHASE A GIANT BIRD.
It was an important bird, but Kairi couldn’t believe what had happened until Xion simply showed up again, having transformed her Keyblade into a grappling hook and landed back safely, holding the giant key the bird was guarding.
“Did you lose your mind?” Kairi tried to keep from screaming, a bit more panicked than she perhaps should be.
“I knew things would turn out alright,” Xion shrugged, not looking really phased by anything that had just happened.
“You’re insane!” Kairi complained, slapping lightly Xion’s arm for worrying her. “There was no need to do that.”
“Well, it was definitely faster,” Xion pointed out.
“And reckless.”
Xion opened and closed her mouth, because apparently she hadn’t noticed until then how reckless she had been.
One of Xion’s main issues was paying zero attention to her own life - and she needed to have someone who would. Kairi wanted so badly to make Xion care about her own safety.
“You’re right. We knew there was a trick to it, and it would have been safer to follow it instead of taking an unnecessary risk. i’m sorry,” Xion apologized like she was writing a report, and Kairi figured there was probably a reason for that too.
“You do this again and I’ll throw you off a cliff myself,” Kairi threatened, and then kissed Xion, just to make sure she was still there.

Day 3~ Friends of Lovers
Day three of @khoc-week and we come to the prompt of friends or lovers. This prompt brings to mind all the friends our ocs have and those special someones too.
For Y this day was a bit of a challenge, if only because there were so many options. Y has a bright and friendly nature, and like Sora she easily makes friends wherever she goes. Of all my various Kingdom Hearts Oc’s she’s the one who has the most friends. She has managed to find a place within so many groups.
The focus however came to rest one four characters, the Wayfinder trio and her twin brother, X. Y finds herself most attached to the Wayfinder trio, her best friends from the start. And though she has lost them, her goal was to always find them one day. And of course as a twin, Y is fiercely attached to her brother. Though their relationship has had it’s ups and downs they always find a way to come back together. After all the light is rarely found without darkness close behind.
Part of Y wished the sunset would finally end so the night could start. As much as she loved the beautiful colors of the sky above Twilight Town, she missed the stars. It made a part of her ache. Like she was missing something very important. Something she needed the night to do. Though it was easy to guess what it was she was missing.
Y was the last one on the clock tower that day. X had left early, using one of his usual excuses of being tired of everyone and their chatter. He was smiling when he had left though, so Y took that as a good sign. He was smiling more and more these days. Axel, Roxas, and Xion had all left together. Apparently if they didn’t return by a decent time there would be a chance of their bosses heckling when they did return. Part of Y could only laugh at Axel seeming to herd the other two. Yuki had been there the longest. She always seemed to hover for a few moments longer, casting Y nervous glances every so often. Like she was waiting for Y to speak. Whatever the reason was, she eventually left wishing Y a good night.
Y didn’t mind being the last to leave. As much as she loved her friends she liked the chance to be alone with her thoughts. Though it did usually end with her thinking the same thing. She missed the stars. She missed the way they would shine above her. She missed that if she was lucky she could catch a meteor shower.
If there was a meteor shower she was usually joined by Ventus. He always seemed to know when one was about to happen. And they would sit under the stars, Y telling Ven stories as they pointed to each falling star. There would be laughs and smiles and nervous glances as they waited for the moment they were inevitably discovered.
If they were lucky, Terra would be the one to find them first. Terra would only last about a minute of scolding before he would sit with them too. And then Y wouldn’t have to tell the stories anymore. Terra would take over for her, telling all sorts of things, stories from before Ven and Y had joined them at the Land of Departure, and the things the Master had never told the younger wielders. Y could spend hours outside on the cliff, listening to Terra explain the things that excited him most. But if Terra found them, it was never long until Aqua joined them.
Aqua was much less likely to let them off with a light scolding. She might go on for a little longer, but usually she would eventually settle in beside them. And she would listen to Terra’s stories, correcting details where needed, and fussing over Ven and Y both for being out when nights could get cold in the Land of Departure.
It was so hard to believe the last night like that had been over ten years ago.
“Are you coming back to the castle at all tonight?”
Y jumped glancing over her shoulder. X stood leaned against the side of the clocktower, his arms crossed as he looked at her with an eyebrow raised. For a moment Y saw the dark deep brown his eyes once were, but quickly she corrected her mind. His eyes were purple now.
“Yeah, is it that late?” Y asked. It wasn’t normal for him to come looking for her. Usually she could get away with being out however long she wanted. Though that may have been because she always managed to come back at a decent enough time.
“Getting there,” X confirmed. “You’ve been staying out later and later the longer we’ve been meeting here. What are you thinking?”
“I think you can guess,” Y admitted. She turned her back on her brother. Looking back over the town she watched the rays of light spreading farther and farther. It was always twilight in this world, so she would never really get to see the stars she wished for.
“Does Roxas bother you?” X asked. He moved silently, Y was only aware he had moved when he sat down beside her once again.
“He did,” Y admitted. She could remember the way she couldn’t breathe the first time she saw him. It had taken a fair time for her to learn to let go of her breath and not react like every time he spoke she was getting stabbed through her heart. “But I’m ok now. They’re really not all that similar once you get past their looks and voice.”
“But you’re still thinking about them,” X said.
“I always think about them,” Y said, forcing a smile as she glanced at X. He wasn’t watching her. At least not in a way that was obvious. “I miss them.”
“I’m sorry,” X said softly. Y smiled, this one a little less forced as she bumped her shoulder to her brothers.
“I know you are,” she said. She hoped he would smile and bump her back. But he didn’t. He only stared down at the ground beneath them. Sometimes she thought he was harder on himself than she ever was on him. Though that was part of the reason she had even forgiven him in the first place. If he hadn’t been so filled with remorse she probably wouldn’t have believed him. Would have still tried to fight him. “Do you think we’ll ever see them again?”
“I’ll make sure of it,” X said firmly, nodding his head in confirmation. Perhaps for Y, perhaps for himself. “We could start looking, rather than wait.”
“What?” Y asked, her head tilting to the side.
“Ventus and Terra are a little more difficult to figure out, but we know Aqua is just in the realm of darkness. We could look for her, on our free time,” X said. He still wasn’t looking at her. And for a moment Y thought she might have been imagining it.
“You mean it?” Y asked.
“Of course,” X said. “I don’t say anything I don’t mean.” A lie of course, but Y still felt herself comforted by it. Y smiled, leaning onto X almost fully. He huffed but said nothing else.
“Thank you,” Y said.
“Don’t thank me,” he said. “I haven’t done anything yet.”
Y only hummed a response, her mind racing.
She couldn’t wait for her old friends to meet her new ones. It would be nice for them all to be together under the stars.

So in my Sora and Vanitas swap AU, Sora takes the role of Vanitas being all of Ventus's “Darkness” Everything is the in this but just that Sora still has his hero-happy personality with a pinch of Vanitas personality too you know. And, since everything is likely the same as normal bbs universe that means Sora has the same relationship that Vanitas has with his Master, Xehanort. (If you read the novel you would know what I mean idk if you did ) And, with that Sora tries to make Xehanort proud and happy for him. (He just wants a loving father-and-son relationship but knowing Xehanort he not gonna have that.) Which starts his envy of Ventus having stuff he doesn't.
At the beginning of birth by sleep before Aqua and Terra starts their exam Xehanort tells Sora about the Keyblade X and how if he wants Sora to merge with Ventus so he can have it and that he would be proud of him if he could do that for him. Which, Sora of course is happy because “He would be proud of me!” But, Xehanort knowing how excited he would get by this news, Xehanort tells him the downside about it which is if he doesn't do it he’ll kill him, Sora is Struck by this but doesn't give up on himself.
All that stuff in the game blah, blah. Just that Sora is thinking about being whole again. Being whole means he and Ventus would be together but he doesn't know if he wanted that. He kinda like being his own person and felt happy just being Sora. This whole situation makes him go down a spiral with his emotions getting worst making the monsters he created stronger.
But, he doing this for his Master and he needs to make him proud of him. On the battlefield, Sora feels nervous and scared and tells his Master I don’t about doing this also that he wants to be his own person Xehanort doesn't take it kindly to this new and tells him to do it or else... Which, Sora tire to act bravely while he completely crumbles under the scenes.
And, yeah, yeah, all that stuff happens and Sora and Ventus make it into Stations, and before Sora tells Ventus that he is finally proud to do this and his master would be proud of him too. But Ventus is like “What if I destroy the keyblade?” Sora didn't think bout that part, “I don’t know. But all I know is that I’m winning this…” Ventus chuckled “Hm, alright then. We’ll see…” They fight yeah, yeah. And before fully finishing off Sora, he tells him that “The keyblade is the both of us So if I destroy it I’ll destroy you as well.” This Throws Sora off his game and sends him into a fit yelling and screaming at Ventus, “You get everything! Everything that I wanted! A loving family, friends, and praise! Hell, you even get to be your own person!” As those words fell out his mouth Ventus give him the final strike.
Ventus smile and laugh n laugh before noticing, he was crying and shaking. “Sora...?” “This is all your fault! Do you think I wanted to do this?” Ventus watched as his other half was in pain and he feel every bit of it...“I hate this job...Every out of I had just ended up with me dying...” “I don’t understand. Then why did you do it?” “I just wanted someone to be proud of me...That's all...” Before Ventus could get a word in Sora faded away leaving him all alone with feel horrible feelings and regret…
(I gotta get back to this story lol)
that sounds super interesting actually!! i havent read the kh novels yet (i was considering getting them but now i definitely am) and i never actually finished bbs either (💀) but i really like how you explore ventus and soras relationship because from what i know about bbs i dont think they really do that with ventus and vanitas and them both feeling similar about their circumstances but cant really communicate that and feeling pitted against eachother is rlly cool i think!!
