and thinking about how I actually did this to Prime Wheeljack on my second viewing, deciding that he has to deal with fuckoff arm and wrist pain like I do

except he fucking did it to himself, because of course he did -- all of his integrated weaponry is custom, with his engineering background meant to primarily support hand tools, his initial loadout was configured for near-recoilless weaponry like Bumblebee and Smokescreen, but running around doing commando blackops shit (in his mind) necessitated larger firepower and there were no medics around to finger-wag him out of doing whatever upgrades he wanted so now all of his weaponry is a grade or two stronger than his structural components should on paper be able to handle.

As a result his whole upper body has a ton of microfractures from magnetic shear and recoil -- nothing that his self-repair can't handle, but just like with humans, supportive member damage doesn't heal back up to be stronger without very specific kind of physical therapy to accompany it. As a result Wheeljack has actually gained mass and lost a lot of the flexibility and aerodynamic and balance qualities of racer frames, and is maintaining his ability to do trick driving largely through just. Doing it, lmao, and not thinking about his worsening health.

Tell me about the new transformers trailer bestie

ok listen so my relationship with the transformers movies is so so so so so so so so complicated but GOD i'm so excited for this one to come out

initially i was like "they're making ANOTHER one ???!!!" because literally they are all so bad. its like the pirates of the carribbean franchise they just gotta STOP. but the new movie is with a totally new director and producing company (paramount and skydance are collaborating) so i have HOPES.

I did a little research and apparently the new movie (rise of the beasts) is a sequel to the solo bumblebee movie (aka the ONLY transformers movie in my rich inner world) so !!!!!!

it's also technically a prequel to the michael bay bullshit BUT it could potentially be a reboot instead because the characters in the trailer (the gorilla [optimus primal] and other animals) are the current autobots' descendants so it could possibly be an xmen days of future past situation where the past + future characters cause the timeline to reset. in which case the michael bay movies would no longer be canon. bless <3

the designs for all the autobots and maximals (animal robots) also SLAP btw. something about me is that the quickest path to my heart is robots <33333

I really really love the details with the maximals because !! its hard to see because of the low quality but they have actual fur and skin in a few places !!! because the maximals are the future descendants of the autobots, they're much more advanced, and they're a mix of robotic and organic and honestly it's SUCH a cool detail

and optimus prime's faceplate <333 it's soooooo <3333333333 like i said in my earlier post I didn't initially like optimus' design because it felt. boxier and clunkier than his designs in the michael bay movies but tbh it's grown on me!! it resembles some of his earlier more original designs which is a nice touch, and plus I'm not one to bitch about any robot design that fucks severely.

Hound moves out of the way, and Crosshairs takes his spot. “You’re ok,” Crosshairs assures Jamie as she looks at her two guardians. “She might be out of it for a while,” Hound tells me before leaving.

About my Illness Whump Guilty Passion:

I really enjoy it ^-^

The only whump content I enjoy is illness whump. (no others) Why? Because content around it is usually super fluffy and wholesome. (plus anime characters specifically look really cute when they're sick. The flushed faces, the messy hair and the cozy pjs... and the weak tired voices… gah its all so cute!! >w<)

My personal favorite trope to play with is high fevers, migraines, and exhaustion/fainting 🌡️

Colds/Flus are super fun too (tho I'm not too graphic on it as some people are) 🤧I'm not too into snz (its fine) but I do like coughing a lot.

I'm not into emeto as an actual emetophobic with irl people…💦 However, sometimes I can write it in an implied sense with little graphic detail. And at times I do enjoy reading it if its not TOO graphic. 🤢 (I'm better with it in fictional media and art, but if it's irl emeto with real people vomiting, then nope THAT triggers me.)

Reasons illness/caretaking hurt/comfort tropes are my favorite

I love when a usually strong, serious, stoic (or asshole) character becomes more vulnerable when they're taken down by illness (bonus points if they become super needy >w<)

Really great fluff fodder for a Parent/Guardian and Child type of relationship. Or even a found-family situation.

Super wholesome and sweet for shipping, siblings, or close friendships. In sickness and in health as they say :3

I've been lurking on Tumblr on and off for years now. But I've been getting more active on here that I've really gotten back into writing fanfiction. So, it may seem silly, but I felt an intro was in order.

I'm IceGirl2772. You can call me Ice or Icey. I've been writing fanfiction since I was 10 or 11. If you look at my FFN stuff... be prepared for the cringe. But nowadays, I am much more active on AO3.

There was a missing component to International Rescue, Jeff Tracy felt. They needed a doctor. So, he found one. Dr. Indiana Evans was one of the best-known trauma surgeons. She wants to make a difference. Little did she know how much her life would change along the way.

Sequel to 'Save You'.

It's been two years. The Decepticons have retreated into the shadows. Talida is haunted by her experiences, but is slowly moving forward with the help of her loved ones. But the tranquility is disrupted when the Decepticons make a dramatic return to the scene, causing a significant blow to the Autobot forces and marking the resumption of a war that has haunted Talida since birth. The Autobots gear up for another fight alongside old and new allies, but will they all emerge unscathed?

As mentioned, this is a sequel to Save You. This follows season one of the show, but some changes will have to be made because, in this series, Jack knew about the Autobots before the show's canon.

Since we all love Smokescreen here, do you have any possible smokescreen focused fics you can recommend? 👀 I've been dying for some more content about him, but can't seem to find any

Unfortunatly there aren't that many, but I have managed to scrounge up a few(but a lot of them haven’t been updated for a while which no shame, I’ve done the same thing, but it’s still unfortunate)

Detours by Greyriver20 where Smokescreen avoids capture from Soundwave but still leaves. It’s just starting out but it’s very fun and I haven’t seen a fic with this concept yet

Watermarked By Your Ancestry by Wolvesowl where Smokescreen is the presumed dead kid of Jazz and Prowl and has some extra traits to deal with. Unfortunately this one hasn’t been updated for a couple months, but it’s a good read

Little Prince by Quiet_Shadow, which is actually finished! Smokescreen is Megatron and Oppy’s kid from their Megatronus and Orion days, but he’d been kept secret since Orion was scared what Megatron would do. However, Megatron ends up finding out during Smokescreen’s capture

Transformers Prime: Amalgamous by SilverBeetle, a fic where Smokescreen is actually Amalgamous Prime and doing what he can to keep that secret. (This actually inspired my own idea for an AU similar to it but I haven’t gotten around to posting about it yet)

Against Better Judgement by sloop_slorp which is just. Smokescreen whump with comfort way later. Basically his captured went WAY worse, to the point Knockout helped him escape, and he’s just trying to pick up the pieces. It’s finished and also has a completed sequel! Transformers Prime Scraplet episode (Scrapheap), except there following epsiode is called ‘Ghost Scraps’

The entire premise is equivalent to when you have a spider on you and after that you keep patting yourself down because you’re scared another one will show up.

Bulkhead’s always going up to another bot or a human and asking desperately ‘is there a scraplet on me?! I think there’s a scraplet on me!!!’

Bumblebee’s very fidgety and keeps scraping up against corners, walls and sometimes weapons, but is in denial about being concerned about there being a scraplet on him.

While Ratchet will occasionally wipe where the ghost feeling is, but will flinch at every metallic noise.

Arcee and Optimus first watch the three, until Arcee goes to talk to Bulkhead, who panics and kicks her into Bumblebee, denting the wall. Arcee gets frustrated, but before she can blow up about it, Raf chimes in about how the behaviour reminds him of when him and his family went to Australia.

“In one of the places we were staying in, there were so many spiders that it had us all acting crazy. Some of us were having showers every hour, some wouldn’t leave the room, there was a lot of hitting and scratching and at one point, my brother rammed himself into a wall.”

Also can we talk about that episode for a second? Like that episode was FILLED with angst and whump potential.

Between Bulkhead acting as the bait, Ratchet using the rest of his energy to keep Bee down, Arcee accepting death, Optimus protecting her when they thought the scraplets were attacking and the injuries being worse than ‘just a mesh wound’.

I could totally write/draw this stuff myself, but I’d be lying. Have extreme art and writers block.

Winter Whumperland Day 01: His Shadow (Astarion-centric)

And this year I once am balance out the fluff with some whump, curtesy of @amonthofwhump's Winter Whumperland. For this I decided to center it all around Astarion (and at times my Tav), because this man just... is just a prime whumpee.

My first prompts are both Claustrophobia and Panic Attack, as both things kinda lie close together.
