I'm honestly surprised these guys don't have more listeners. If you like spooky/halloween type of music and goth vampire aesthetic I really recommend them
Here are some of my fave songs:
The whole "the travelling vampire show" album is my fave
Oh btw Davey (guy on the right) has a kitty named Terzo (yes THE Ghost Terzo)
EVERYONE GATHER ROUND, I HAVE A NEW BRAIN ROT AND YOURE ALL HEARING ABOUT IT!!!!!!
Mr. Big.
Look at them!!
LOOK AT THEM!!!!
Theyre all so talented too, it’s insane
Also, Pat Torpey kind of looks like my mom’s ex. Unfortunately he is not Pat Torpey (RIP Pat Torpey) (so does Eric Martin, to an extent, but a different one long story)
Anywho, they’re cool and I think they’re very neat and talented and brain rot.
Alternative rock, indie I guess? Started as more of a pop punk band but then started experimenting with elements of electronica and rap-rock (which totally works btw)
Writes more songs about mental illness and recovering from past trauma than any other band I’ve heard
Seriously, a lot of hard hitting songs about mental health, self harm, depression, ptsd and sexism within the music industry
That being said, every song they write is about moving forward and overcoming whatever shit you’re dealing with
Ariel Bloomer is a fucking queen, just saying
Not that this necessarily matters but I don’t think they’ve written a single love song
Discovered them when I was 15 and they changed my fucking life
Ariel bringing fans on stage to sing with her during Now You Know is honestly my favourite thing ever
Their entire discography slaps but Scripted is their best album in my humble opinion
Songs to listen to: Fight, Get Well, You Can’t Kill Us, Under The Knife, Only A Memory, Now You Know, Rock and Roll Thugs, and Demons
I'm so tired of gatekeeping; why wouldn't you want people to listen to the same good music as you?!?!?
Absolutely no one asked for this but I'm gonna introduce you to one of my favourite bands of all time
*ahem*
Let me introduce you to the 90s grunge-pop band, Llama farmers;
Backstory:
The Llama Farmers were a grunge-pop band that started in the late 1990s in Greenwich, England by the guitarist William Briggs and drummer Brooke Rogers who went to school together. After sacking their original frontman and bassist, the duo sent out an advertisement for a new singer and bassist with only one reply from the name of a girl called Jenni Simpson. Whilst auditioning, Jenni brought along her brother Bernie Simpson for support who ended up as the new singer of the Llama Farmers and Jenni as their bassist. Whilst none of them were out of their teenage years yet, they were already touring with bands such as the Foo Fighters. They released their first album, Dead Letter Chorus, in 1999 and their second album, El Toppo, in 2000. Shortly after, the band disbanded for the group to focus on school studies and sadly never ended up back together.
