Imagine you save the whole Europe and they give you lousy watch for it
Silly, goofy Chernobyl Posca sketches except its mostly irl Valery Legasov. I cant get the characteristics of his face right tho so he just looks like a different person in each one
“The team hypothesizes that at the time of the accident, frogs in the area that happened to be darker suddenly had an advantage in the new extremes of this environment, meaning they were more likely to survive and reproduce. After three and a half decades and more than 10 generations of frogs, dark skin is now the norm in the exclusion zone.”
The Deputy Minister Boris Shcherbina and Professor Valery Legasov walked side by side through the city's amusement park, which was packed with families and children. It was a beautiful sunny day and the atmosphere was cheerful and relaxed.
A large Ferris wheel. The metal cabins painted in a yellow so bright that they reflect the sunlight.
Professor Legasov stopped to admire it, his gaze reached the top, from there people could surely admire all of Pryp'jat. He smiled instinctively. He remembered the first time he set foot on a Ferris wheel, together with his mother as a child, the fear he felt at first but then turned into pure emotion.
Boris stopped too, he wasn't looking at the Ferris wheel, he was looking at Valery smiling, he was looking at the sunlight illuminating every detail of his skin, his cheeks covered with scars left by an untreated acne which he found equally beautiful, the freckles from the cheeks down to his neck as well, and those dimples, those damned lovely dimples.
Boris smiled. But he wasn't looking at the Ferris wheel.
Valery after a few seconds turned towards him and realized that Boris was staring at him with an idiotic expression.
Valery blushed.
"What's up?" asked the scientist.
There would be so much to say Valera.
"Nothing" Boris replied, moving his gaze to the Ferris wheel without ceasing to smile.
