I just left the review on this, but these are methods that have been used with me as well (especially the distorted thinking, catastrophizing, polarized thinking, etc.) and it is SUCH a good read, even if you're not in the DP fandom.

I had to do some thinking when deciding on just ten thinking errors for GotC. Because there are many and not all of them would've been useful for Danny. Like in particular, the "being right," "heaven's reward fallacy," or "fallacy of change" distortions wouldn't have worked for Danny.

But in a therapy fic about Sam, I would absolutely include all three of those distortions, especially the "being right" one lol.

A roleplay response from me with @vu1ture-culture to a Draconia (Game) AU roleplay (I was a wyvern, he was a griffon.) I thought it was pretty good.

Shielding Hawks from view, he growled in frustration - he never wanted to be in another situation where he had to be in a community of, well, well meaning creatures. He didn't want to feel guilty over what he'd done in the past, and especially not what was going on behind the scenes of uniquely Hawks and Dabi's relationship - and definitely not guilty for arson, or the fire, much less the crime scenes that would occur in his path. But they all too well blended together, whether he liked it or not.

"Fine. Something of mine, then - not his." He wrenched a talon out of his neck, the staple leaving it to leak a brown ooze sluggishly, dropping the strangely twisted talon on the ground.

"My word on my blood," He spat, "Don't fuck this up. There's a reason I need staples, and I don't want anyone in the way when they come undone, so keep me out of it unless the chickenshit is in danger."

How does dating someone in your own system work? /genq

Well...it's both hard and easy to explain? I think? I've never thought I'd ever have to explain actually, I've been staring at this ask for like a half-hour trying to get it into words sdhdfkhf

I mean it's basically like dating any other person, I guess? But it can get confusing at first glance because the relationship's all happening in one body. It can be hard to do "normal relationship" things but if you and the system have easy access to headspace it makes all that at least a bit easier, and some couples things can be modified to do outside of headspace

It honestly feels hard for me to explain but that's just because it feels...like a normal relationship for me. Though I'll admit, I felt really guilty about it for the longest time with my relationship with Klari and was in denial A LOT about my feelings in the first place because I felt guilty as the host since there can be power imbalances with that, but then Klari very quickly became the co-host so that possible power imbalance went away with that development, even though the guilt and denial still hung around for a while

It also helps that Klari and I are also in a relationship with @vu1ture-culture and @burning-faggot, our partner system and not just exclusively each other

As for the other relationship in my system, Patton and Janus, they uh, pretty much just formed married to each other and nobody questions it really sdhkjskfg
