Sorry this took so long! I got inspiration for this rather quickly, but the motivation made me wait for itself...

Anyways, I'm not good at putting that many characters in one frame, so here's a comic! (or something...) I draw this whole thing in one sitting today. It's just a lineart, but I hope you find it funny enough!

I had a field day with this.

Webby is MVP for doing this. Literally the whole family. I was looking at this for like 10 minutes, looking at the tiniest details.

Like this:

Idk if she did this on accident, but Dewey has a heart pin. Others also have these, but it'd be cute if she used it specifically for him, as if to say that they're the best adventure buddies! (I mean, they had a whole jingle for it!)

Also: "Phooey???"

What does it mean? Is it a synonym for the f-word? Is it a person? A fourth son?! Who knows, but Webby's speculating!

Donald's picture is just golden btw

Also, L.P.'s picture is a newsletter article. Does he not have pictures of himself? And him and Penny being "just friends", which Webby specifically pointed out is funny to me.

I'm thinking something, could different versions of DuckTales/Duckverse characters get along with each other, if that characters are completely different from each other? This can primarily apply to Donald, Daisy, Huey, Dewey and Louie, but also other characters.

Hi!! IM SO SORRY, i didn’t see your question as I don’t get a notifications for some reasons?? But I saw it a couple of days ago, so… And I ALWAYS want to answer if you have questions I just don’t see this questions 😭 I really need to check them more often

I don’t know if you are still interested (it’s been two months, so, yeah), but I will explain anyway, maybe others are curious, and for myself as well

The whole au inspired by Victor Hugo’s novel called “Toilers of the sea”. I absolutely adore this book, one of my favorite books ever. If you have never read this book, I recommend it to you.

The book describes the power of the sea, and shows how miserable the man is compared to the force of nature.

So, the plot of this au is pretty close to the plot of the original Duck Tales - Magica wants revenge on Scrooge, she wants to kill his whole family and sink his steamship, so she sends Lena as a spy. Lena and Webby becoming more close to each other, and Lena turns away from her aunt.

Short explanation of characters:

Scrooge is obviously Lethierry, the owner of the first steamship in the Guernsey island. This steamship called Sunchaser (as a reference to Durande). He’s rich, cares only about ship and money.

Webby- Deruchette, in this au she Scrooge’s niece who lives with him and her grandma, she doesn’t have friends until triplets and Lena, so not much difference from the original cartoon.

Donald and the triplets is the same as in DT, they just came to Scrooge, but excluding them would be a shame.

Magica - Sieur Clubin, but she doesn’t follows his fate in the book, she’s the same as in DT, she’s a magician, who can control the sea

Lena - she’s a portray of Gilliat, everyone think she’s witch, she lives alone, and as Magica, she is a magical creature (she’s a mix of Gilliat’s and Clubin’s characters, as she is a spy in Duck’s family, but mostly will act like Gilliat). And yeah, there’s gonna be some Weblena (and it’s not a one sided love like in the book).

I took “Toilers of the sea” as an inspiration, but at the same time I want to connect the plot of this au with original DT’s plot. It’s really hard for me to summarize as I don’t know what I want to do with this au yet, but I tried my best.

And I’m sorry for my mistakes, English is not my first language, so it can be a messy explanation

Plus, some sketches, because I feel like it’s not a full answer without it (and for some attention haha)

Listening to this song, and watching this video, I got the impression that this girl is Webby, and these boys with caps are Huey, Dewey and Louie going into space. Lol. I like this song. 😄 It would be nice if Gosalyn, Lena, Violet, Phooey, May and June also joined and went on space adventures together. This comes in handy to write a story about it.
