The champion. Who plays a major role in the story. Is Bruno. And maybe the leader of or associated with the villain team (big plot twist but like. The Bruno plot twist is PAINFULLY OBVIOUS IT'S FUNNY but then the REAL plot twist would actually hit)

Anthony Padilla - Racer

Anthony would be a racer for Redbull. He's still very much a beginner in the actual f1 league, but he's determined to make a name for himself. He started obsessing over racing with his best friend in 6th grade, which is how they met. The two became inseparable, and Anthony continued to follow his dreams and memorize each famous track. He saved each race there was onto a hard drive just to study them, and later moved to pursue actual racing, climing up the ranks to be able to get into F1.

Ian Hecox - Anthony's Coach

Ian is always in Anthony's corner. He's his best friend, and he couldn't watch his friend do something so dangerous alone. Ian took on the role of being Anthony's Physiotherapist, his Performance Coach, and his own personal cheerleader. He constantly is in Anthony's corner, and they're the closest with one another. Ian also takes on the role of being the strengthening and conditioning coach for the pit, containing of Shayne, Damien, Amanda, Chanse, Tommy, Spencer, and others.

Did you ever sketch more of those TF2 Slime Rancher ideas? (Or at least assign some more) I thought those where cute ✨

Indeed I did! There was more on the original page along with Boom slime Soldier, but those were pretty messy and I never finished them unfortunately. Might try and redraw them all again in the future, so for now I'll list all the Mercs that I've assigned a slime counterpart to so far:

Scout = Tabby slime; I was considering pairing him with a quicksilver slime (for obvious reasons), but eventually decided on a Tabby instead to match with Spy because father-son stuff.

Soldier = Boom slime; Explosions reminded me of his rocket launcher, so pretty self-explanatory. I also think the slime's crazed expression matches him lmao

Pyro = Fire slime; Pretty obvious. I thought about assigning them a Rad slime at first but just decided on fire instead (I feel like it's beady eyes match Pyro well).

Spy = Hunter slime; Now imo this ones a perfect fit. The mask and the ability to turn invisible match this slime to Spy almost perfectly imo. Plus, seeing as there's two cat types, I could make the link between his and Scout's assignments work lmao.

That's all I have figured out for now unfortunately. Mainly when I've been trying to match up a slime to a merc, I look for whether or not a slime's properties match them. If not I just rely on vibes. If anyone has any criticism/further suggestions let me know. :-)
