Today i do not feel like working on myself  Today i do not feel like trying to be the better person or doing adult things.  I know, I know.... i can hear the critique. Why are you complaining, be grateful, well you know what you need to do, be positive... yada yada yada  I hate to bust your bubble, but i never said I was going to quit.  I said today i do not feel, because i have a habit of ignoring the feelings i have that i have been taught are negative.  Don’t get me misconstrued, I will always get the job done but why do I have to pretend I want too every day? Or that I like it every day? Or that something did not make me want to cry, yell or punch the wall? Is that not how a strong woman act? Oh she isn’t supposed to cry? She must be perfect every time? And handle her business and yours, while never making a mistake? Shes your superwoman she saves everyone but her self. Wrong, well at least i realize this is wrong now. Unlearning behaviors is a motherfucka. Upgrading that stone wall to in our hearts to a modern-day state of the art surveillance system with top security check points. Because we deserve the best, and we need to allow others to come in and be a shoulder to you. I went so may years felling isolated and lonely in a room full a people. I have learned to close myself off because I was tired of being disappointed and hurt. But that backfired like crazy and i felt like i was going to implode. Its ok to let people in, but make sure they are vetted first.  If you cannot be vulnerable, honest, uneducated, imperfect, a student and loved at the same time they do not deserve you.  But if by chance they are this, allow their energy to not only pour into them like you are so used to, allow them to replenish yours as well. Fill your pond, and continue to grow life, you will make mistakes. That is guaranteed. But, and I have to sound like broken record. It does not define you, its how your bounce back.
