my headcanon for jason todd is this - he can't stand the smell of smoke. the first time he tried to light up after his ascent from the grave, crouched in the hallway of a motel behind an ice machine, he is returned to the warehouse and the fumes are suffocating. he chokes and gags and snuffs the cigarette beneath his shoe, but the taste in his mouth does not fade for hours. his helmet has a filter, so even amidst gunfire the smell is masked from him enough that he can continue to breathe. anything over a stove is out, fire itself can be difficult, the phantom feel of burning heat makes him think of his body, his first body, back when he was whole. back when he was someone worth loving.

my other headcanon is that he has tinnitus.

See people don't seem to understand this-

They want the truth, they want to see everything you are and more and they will marvel your ugly spots as if they were diamonds. The poets are also those who can tell you the prettiest lies, they give you lenses that disguise all the red in this world. The poets are also those who know that words are so incredibly dangerous and powerful, so they will sit in silence to hide the strength a simple word can hold.

The kings? The kings are those burdened with a life they never wished to lead. They are the golden children so burnt out that waking up is more tiring than the rest they had just achieved. The kings believe they have a duty to the world, and they are unfortunate in that everything they do will be criticized and judged and used against them no matter how noble the intention. All they can do is pray they create enough good to balance out their bad.

And together the soldiers, poets, and kings want to move forward. No matter their individual burdens, the soldiers will serve their kings, the kings will bow to the poets, and the poets will fall to the soldiers.

Hi, guys! Hope you've had a good, or at least somewhat decent, 2023. I can't believe it's been well over a year since Hesokuri Wars officially shut down. Time really flies, doesn't it?

Despite how long it's been, I've been feeling a little nostalgic for this franchise lately. As much as this blog ended up neglecting its duties during the year leading up to the game's shutdown, I kind of want to make up for that by helping with its preservation. Others have already committed to doing so, but I think it'll help a few people if there was a single post consolidating everyone's efforts, so here we go:

The Osomatsu-san AU Fandom Wiki has a page dedicated to listing the various Hesokuri Wars AUs, all of which have their own wiki pages with images

Tumblr user @/denkimystery has a pretty extensive catalog of information related to the Denki Mystery AU in Hesokuri Wars, including but not limited to a basic run-down of the characters, translations of the character descriptions / event stories / attraction buildings, and a timeline of the overarching story

internet people, please tell me if i'm overreading this. in the end of re2 remake, leon let's go of ada symbolically by throwing away the bracelet; in the end of re4 remake, ada sees leon escaping, she looks at him and goes the other direction. like, ugh, like: leon goes -> and ada goes <- (like they are go the opposite way). especially the way ada looks down to see Leon and then focuses on her own/new mission.

1. Draw an infinity symbol; from a side view, the center of the symbol should be near the center of the forehead; from a forward facing view, just above the ear to either side.

2. Use the curvature of the symbol as a guide to make the hat brim

3. Add the rest of the hat! The cap should stay relatively close to the head :) touch up where needed and add detail
