true! I think that there’s a really special connection forged between two people who have either known each other that long or who went through their formative years together. like, it’s something that you never quite shake, because they literally help you grow into the person that you’re ultimately meant to become & vice versa. even if you drift your separate ways for a bit, they’re always gonna be part of you and nothing can change it. you’ll always remember them when you drive by where you grew up or eat a snack that you haven’t had since childhood and you’ll remember splitting that treat with them while sharing secrets that are no longer of any consequence to you now, but they meant so much back then. it’s the most sacred form of nostalgia to me & I’m a glutton for it.
