Have you thought about doing more short comics similar to The Surprising Guest with your OCs? I'd be interested to learn more about, say, Betty and what she gets up to.

Before I continue, thanks for the ask!

Truth be told, I actually have a handful of story concepts I'd written up over the past few years, that I'd like to develop into a comic or a story. Most of them are mainly with the Postal Squadron, but a couple of them do concern some of other OCs (and crossover stuff like The Frightening Guest). A few of the ones I really like, I've actually written them into small scripts (where there's not only dialogue, but added descriptions of story events, character emotions, etc.), some more than once.

Of course, the issue is that I've yet to really adapt most of them into a comic format since TFG. Part of it is due to classes and working on some of the other art projects/gift art I've done earlier this year. But the other thing was that The Frightening Guest comic took a while to produce (revising the initial concepts/ideas into a story, planning out the comic panels, and then actually doing the sketch, lineart, color, and cleanup for all five pages). All things told, it took a few months to put the comic together.

Making more comics was definitely something I wanted to do as part of my art retrospective from last year, so at some point I definitely do want to commit to getting at least one done. Even if it's not quite at the same level as The Frightening Guest as a presentation standpoint. But for now, getting my foot back in the door at all is my current goal.

Glad you like the ask! Been following your characters for a while; I love them, their designs, and any lore about them. I guess Betty's not the kind of person to be willing to relax on the beach if there's treasure to be found, then. Looking at her, I imagine you couldn't even get her to lose the coat or the shoes without outright confiscating them, hah hah.

Happy to hear you like my characters (or at least Betty in particular). There's a bunch of concepts and stories with my characters I'd like to showcase more, but admittedly I've been slow due to IRL stuff and other projects. I'd like to imagine the gears are slowly turning around in some ways (the comics I've done with Ronda and Aero).
