this image immediately popped into my head the moment i had heard the snippet of shakes luke had shared at the beginning of march. so imagine my surprise when i saw the video teaser he posted a few weeks ago and i saw my drawing FLASH before my eyes 😭 we have the same brain fr

but anyways, i’m very happy with how this came out, and i’m very happy that i got to listen to shakes the whole time i was making this. i love the song a lot and i think it’s up there with baby blue as my favorite luke song! very excited to hear the rest of boy <3

i’m pretty sure charlotte wears converse on the cover of the book, but i *needed* to give her the wing-tipped boots so bad !!! best believe that if jamie watson wanted to steal them, so did i !!!

another old charlotte + jamie set ! i made these a long while before the cover redraws. i honestly quite like how i drew charlotte’s still, and i can finally say i’m content with the jamie one.

when i drew him, i had no idea how to draw the hairstyle i had envisioned him with (it’s a mix between this one and the cover one), so i settled for this, and it honestly doesn’t look bad 😭 i tend to be a bit hard on myself when it comes to my art, especially with the ones i make for the charlotte series as it’s my favorite.

still, baby steps 🤞🏻 happy to report that i’ve been growing fond of old my art more and more
