Horns ~

~ Rolan was mostly preoccupied with work when you asked if you could touch his horns

~ Almost absentmindedly, he tipped his head forward, granting you access

~ Since he was distracted, you had plenty of time to explore the horns with your fingertips

~ You didn’t miss the way his cheeks flushed and his eyes met yours, your touch bringing him out of his work

Tail ~

~ Rolan kept his tail near you most of the time, even having it curled around your ankle when you slept

~ You hadn’t paid it much mind before, but now, Rolan’s tail caught your attention

~ Though he was very affectionate with his tail, you felt it would be impolite to touch it without asking first

~ His eyebrows raised when you asked, nodding as if it were obvious that you could

~ You memorized every bump and ridge, feeling the differing textures in his skin. He watched you, quietly, flicking the end of his tail occasionally

~ “Anything else you’d like to explore?”

Zevlor -

Horns ~

~ Zevlor loved spending the evening curled up in front of the fireplace, letting the warmth ease out the stress of the day

~ Most of the time, you were right there with him, snuggled as close as you could managed

~ You played with his hair casually, watching the flames dance. Finally, you asked what you’d wanted to for months

~ All Zevlor gave you was a chuckle and a nod, resting his forehead against yours

~ You ran both hands over the points, feeling how sharp the end of his horns were

~ Feeling bold, you pulled him closer to you by his horns, kissing his nose playfully. His eyes were alight when you pulled back, the flames reflecting in the orbs

~ “Rather demanding aren’t we?”

Tail ~

~ Zevlor didn’t seem surprised in the slightest when you asked to touch his tail

~ Instead, he simply draped the tail across your lap, continuing to read the book he was focused on

~ You lifted it slightly with your hands, shrieking out a giggle when he thrashed his tail playfully

~ When you looked back over, he seemed to be completely focused still, the perfect actor

~ When you tried to run your hand over the tail again, he finally looks at you

~ There’s a small moment of silence before he grins brightly, twitching his tail again to tickle you

astarion is just so pretty and endearing and easy to love. if i was dropped into the bg3 world and didn't die of any of the other horrifying things happening, i'd die of big heart eyes emoji disease. id get blown up bc i was too busy admiring his damn eyelashes to hear someone warn me about the trap i'm about to step in. he could hand me a poison (to coat my weapon in, obviously) and i'd be like "whatever you say, beautiful" without thinking twice and down it like a shot. my foolishness would be my downfall bc it'd make him laugh and the sound of it would eviscerate me. everyone would turn just in time to see my meatless skeleton crumpling to the ground if he gave so much as an exhale of amusement at something i'd said. if he asked for my blood, i would NOT hesitate to let this dude drain me so dry id be flat enough to fit through a mail slot. they could put a stamp on my forehead and mail me to baldurs gate to save time.

I mean... c'monnn!! Don't they like gnolls or smth? (I think I saw it somewhere) and it's totally adorable (to durge)!

They just walk around with their yeena/s on a leash with a lovely collar while people give them crazy and fearful looks as they go to meet Gortash, but like also hear me out: the hyena getting jealous of Gort and being more cute and sweet than normal to durge while Gortash desperately tries to convince to keep it at the temple wanting just a one on one

Imagine the yeena being named "princess" or something equally as adorable despite the terrifying beat with deadly jaws OR on the opposite side of the spectrum, naming it something like "bone crusher" or "soul eater" just completely playing up the animals feral nature

Bonus points if it's a baby or different than most hyenas

The dark urge: cute aggression

I can totally see durge having some MAJOR cute aggression but just imagine durge (whoever you wish but + if a druid) loving animals since they were a kid before bhaal called apon them

They fed the cats and stray dogs petting all the abandoned kitties, catching glimpses of elusive foxes, bears and the occasional bunny! And to their surprise the animals seemed to not mind them too much

Now, imagine what if their parents (adoptive or whatever you see fit) gift them a hamster for their birthday near the time when bhaal came'a'knockin' and they watched with big eyes as they held such a small and fragile thing

It was so cute and adorable as they felt the gentle sniffing nudges of it's unfathomably tiny nose, it was in the palm of their hand as they watched with halting breaths as if trying so very hard not to frighten the little creature

But their heart kept beating faster, they could only think about how cute it was how soft and squishy it was...

How vulnerable it was ...

They held the hamster in a soft grip that was slowly getting tighter as they whispered and cooed over the rodent, talking in a soft high-pitched voice stroking it's fur as they squeezed tighter

They were so happy! How could something be so cute? So soft and delicate

Red clouds their vision as they squeezed and squeezed feeling the velvet fur between their fingers, when suddenly the little body gave under the pressure with a horrible shriek

They slowly come to their senses only to look down in horror, their sweet little pet was nothing but blood and meat with it's tiny eyes bulging out of its skull like a chewed up toy

They drop the hamster in horror panicking wondering what happened and what kind of monster would do such a thing? It was them, they were the monster...

Durgetash having a kiddo together core

Durge and Gortash have been involved for a while, perhaps using each other before discovering that they care and care a lot. It is new to them.

Durge finds out they are with child, something their Father, Bhaal, disapproves with for many reasons, the main one being that bhaal's blood should be kept in the family. Durge agrees at first as that is what is expected of them and plans to not carry the child to term

They tell Gortash, or he just finds out, and the way the man glows at the concept. He doesn't like kids on a good day, but something about having one with Durge hit different, and he doesn't know why. He makes the excuse that a child of two chosen will be quite powerful and useful for their future.

Durge, after talking to him, finds themselves reconsidering their stance and getting attached to the idea of having a child with Gortash, just to see what it's like, curiosity and all that.

Orin gets wind of this, and well, if she didn't need an excuse to take out durge before, she sure has one now. She does as in canon, but Durge, who could as a bhaalspawn and shapeshifter survive her attack, decides to sacrifice some important organs to protect the child, but they underestimate Orin's anger, so much like in canon there is nothing left of who they were but their womb and the child stay whole and survive.

Them being patched up before the last of their magic/power keeping the babe alive is used up.

But then comes the whole trouble of them having amnesia, being prego, and alone in the wilds. With a tadpole and a ragtag group of people that are as useless with babies as Durge would have been and still is cx.

Wyll, Karlach, and Gale probably have the most luck and skill in dealing with a baby xd. At least until Halsin joins them and shows them the ropes.

Also, add the githyanki egg into the mix because surprise, but post orinbotomy durge is now obsessed with kids as that was their last thought, to protect the kid, so they take in every single one they see in this new life.

Returning to Gortash with their child and a gaggle of orphans. The delicious drama xd
