𝓡𝓮𝓬𝓲𝓽𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓽𝓪𝓱𝓶𝓲𝓭, 𝓽𝓪𝓱𝓵𝓲𝓵 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓽𝓪𝓴𝓫𝓲𝓻 •It is Sunnah to recite takbir (saying Allahu akbar (Allah is most great)), tahmid (saying al-hamdu Lillah (praise be to Allah)), tahlil (saying La ilaha ill-Allah (There is no god but Allah)) and tasbih (saying Subhan-Allah (Glory be to Allah)), during the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah, saying these words out loud in the mosques, homes, streets and every place in which it is permissible to remember Allah, to perform this act of worship openly and proclaim the greatness of Allah. •Men should recite out loud and women should recite quietly. •Allah says: “That they may witness things that are of benefit to them (i.e. reward of Hajj in the Hereafter, and also some worldly gain from trade), and mention the Name of Allah on appointed days, over the beast of cattle that He has provided for them (for sacrifice).”[22:28] •The majority are of the view that the “appointed days” are the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah, because Ibn ‘Abbas narrated that the appointed days are the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah. •‘Abdullah ibn ‘Umar narrated that the Prophet PBUH said: “There are no days that are greater before Allah or in which good deeds are more beloved to Him, than these ten days, so recite a great deal of tahlil, takbir and tahmid during them.” (Narrated by Ahmad, 7/224; its isnad was classed as sahih (sound) by Ahmad Shakir.) •The takbir is as follows:Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar, la ilaha ill-Allah, Allahu akbar, wa Lillah il-hamd •This takbir has become a forsaken Sunnah nowadays, especially at the beginning of these ten days. You can hardly hear it except from a few. Part 2 4.Fasting on this day is an expiation for two years. It was reported from Abu Qutaadah RA that the Messenger of Allah SAW was asked about fasting on the Day of Arafah. He said,“It expiates for the sins of the previous year and of the coming year.”[Muslim] This is mustahabb for those who are not on Hajj. In the case of the one who is on Hajj, it is not Sunnah for him to fast on the Day of Arafah, because the Prophet SAW did not fast on this day in Arafah. It was narrated that he forbade fasting on the Day of Arafah in Arafah(i.e the one making Hajj who is in Arafah). 5. It is the day on which Allah took the covenant from the progeny of Adam. It was reported that Ibn Abbaas RA said: the Messenger of Allah SAW said:“Allah took the covenant from the loins of Adam in Na’maan, i.e.,Arafah. He brought forth from his loins all his offspring and spread them before Him, then He addressed them, and said:‘Am I not your Lord? They said,‘Yes, we testify,’let you should say on the Day of Resurrection:‘Verily, we have been unaware of this.’ Or lest you should say: ‘It was only our fathers aforetime who took others as partners in worship along with Allah, and we were(merely their) descendents after them; will You then destroy us because of the deeds of men who practised Al-Baatil (i.e.,polytheism and committing crimes and sins, invoking and worshipping others besides Allah)?’[7:172-173]” [Narrated by Ahmad and classed as Sahih by Shk al-Albani]And there is no greater day than this and no greater covenant than this. 6. It is the day of forgiveness of sins,freedom from the Fire and pride in the people who are there: In Sahih Muslim it was narrated from ‘Aaishah RA that the Prophet SAW said: “There is no day on which Allah frees more people from the Fire than the Day of Arafah. He comes close and expresses His pride to the angels, saying, ‘What do these people want?’” It was reported from Ibn ‘Umar that the Prophet SAW said: “Allah expresses His pride to His angels at the time of Ishaa on the Day of Arafah, about the people of Arafah. In Al-Saheehayn it was reported from ‘Umar ibn al-Khattaab RA that a Jewish man said to him, “O Ameer al-Mu’mineen,there is an Ayah in your Book which you recite;if it had come to us Jews,we would have taken that day as an ‘Eid.” ‘Umar said, “Which Ayah?” He said: “This day I have perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion.”[5:3] ‘Umar said, “We know on which day and in which place that was revealed to the Prophet (saws). It was when he was standing in Arafah on a Friday.” 2. It is a day of Eid for the people who are in that place. The Prophet (saws) said: “Yawm Arafah (the day of Arafah), Yawm al-Nahr (the Day of Sacrifice) and Ayyaam al-Tashreeq (the 3 days following Yawm al-Nahr) are Eid for us, the people of Islam. These are days of eating and drinking.” [This was narrated by the authors of al-Sunan] It was reported that ‘Umar ibn al-Khattaab RA said: “It – i.e., the Ayah ‘This day I have perfected…’ was revealed on a Friday, the Day of Arafah, both of which – praise be to Allah – are Eids for us.” 3. It is a day by which Allah swore an oath. The Almighty cannot swear by anything except that which is mighty. Yawm Arafah is the “witnessed day” mentioned in the Ayah: “By the witnessing day [Friday] and by the witnessed day [the Day of Arafah].” [85:3] It was reported from Abu Hurayrah RA that the Prophet SAW said: “The promised day is the Day of Resurrection, the witnessed day is the Day of Arafah, and the witnessing day is Friday.” [at-Tirmidhi] It is the “odd” [i.e. odd-numbered, Witr] by which Allah swore in the Ayah:“And by the even and the odd” [89:3]. Ibn ‘Abbaas said: “The even is the Day of al-Adhaa [i.e., 10th Dhoo’l-Hijjah] and the odd is the Day of Arafah [i.e. 9th Dhul-Hijjah] This is also the view of ‘Ikrimah and al-Dahhaak. . What are the deeds done in these ten days of Dhul Hijjah ? •Fasting as many days as possible, especially the day of Arafat, which is a Sunnah. •Takbeer al-Muqayyid: The Takbeer, which is restricted to the time after the five obligatory Salaat. This begins from after Fajr prayer of the day of Arafat (for the non-pilgrims) until the Asr prayer of the last day of Tashreeq. •Takbeer al-Mutlaq: The unrestricted Takbeer; ‘Allahu Akbar’, at all times of night and day until Eid al-Adha. ��Perform plenty of Nafl (voluntary) prayers. •Recite and Memorize the Qur'aan. •Abstain from disobedience and sins, because disobedience is the cause of Allah's Anger. The Messenger of Allah (saws) said: “Verily Allah has a sense of Ghayrah (honor, prestige and anger over it's violation), and Allah's sense of Ghayrah is provoked when a person does that which Allah has made prohibited.” [Saheeh Bukhari and Saheeh Muslim] Whereas, obedience and abstaining from all those things, which Allah has prohibited, is a form of worship and a means to achieve Allah's Love. •Hasten to make Sincere Tawbah (Repentance) to Allah because repentance means coming back to Allah. It is forgoing all those deed, which Allah dislikes in open and in secret, out of regret for what has passed, abandoning them immediately and being determined not to return to it again. When a Muslim combines repentance with good deeds during the most virtuous days, this is a sign of his success. Allah says: “But as for him who repented, believed and did righteous deeds, then he will be among those who are successful.” [al-Qasas (28):67] •Give Charity •Attend Salaat al-Eid and the Khutbah. •Slaughter Udhiyah (Sacrifice) on the day of Eid al-Adha is another good deed which brings the slave closer to his Lord. . What are the ten days of Dhul Hijjah ? The ten days of Dhul Hijjah are the first ten days of the 12th Islamic calendar month called Dhul Hijjah. These are the days when most of the pilgrims make a journey to Makkah and perform their tasks of Hajj. Just as they have a special chance to get extra reward, the ones who were not able to go to Hajj are also given a special chance to get extra reward during these days. Customised Arabic calligraphy order

اِنِ الۡحُكۡمُ اِلَّا لِلّٰہ

The command (or the judgement) is for none but Allah.

Surah Yusuf verse 40.

.

x Democracy is a system that is contrary to Islam because it gives the power of legislation to the people or to those who represent them (t.e. members of parliament). In democracy, legislative authority is given to someone other than Allah, it is given to the people and their deputies, and what matters is not their consensus but the majority. Thus what the majority agree upon becomes laws that are binding on the nation, even if it is contrary to common sense, religious teaching or reason.

x In these systems legislation has permitted what Allaah has forbidden thus this system is in fact at war with Islam.

x Allaah has told us in the His Book that legislative authority belongs to Him alone, and that He is the wisest those who issue rulings and judge. He has forbidden the association of anyone with Him in His authority, and no one is better than Him in ruling

"So the judgement is only with Allah, the Most High, the Most Great!" [Ghaafir 40:12]"

X Allaah, may He be glorified and exalted, is the Creator of all things and He knows whatis good for them and what is in their best interests of rulings. Human beings vary in intellect, attitude and customs, and they are unaware of what is best for them, let alone what is best for others. Hence in societies that are ruled by the people in terms of legislation and laws, one sees only corruption and immorality

x Undoubtedly the democratic system is a form of shirk, in terms of obedience and following, or legislation, as it denies the sovereignty of the Creator and His absolute right to issue laws, and ascribes that right to humans.

You worship not besides Him except (mere) names you have named them, you and your fathers, for which Allah has sent down no authority. Legislation is not but for Allah.
