A wip but he's getting there. This is probably the longest time I've spent on a single mini of his size. Which is alot considering I usually bang out a decent salamander in an hour or two.

Sooooo...

First was the legs. Nothing special so far I just think I did a good job

Then this blue flame and MY WORD this looks so good and I hate that the camera doesn't pic it up properly. It started pure white and took multiple small layers of pylar glacier and tyran blue. It's also what got me to finally admit to myself that I'm a good painter

I wanted the flames to be blue so it stands out better from the rest of the salamanders I have

The cauldron and front pad came put sick as jell and gave me a good direction for the scales (blood angels red on emporors children)

They have a box of bloodletters at my lgs that you can just take if you want one, I put it to some good use I think but it was really annoying to shave down properly

The gun was me refining and getting better and painting heat warped metal. It came out okay but the bands need to be closer

And then yeah, cape done and that's where I am with em :)
