I don’t know how to say this in a way that doesn’t sound like I’m advocating for casual cruelty or whatever but something that grates so much about this current social moment is how many people are incapable of saying they dislike something or someone without cooking up some higher morally correct reason for their dislike. Sometimes you just disliked a book. Sometimes you don’t “get” an actor or a musician. There’s nothing morally wrong with your girl’s fuckass boyfriend he’s literally just annoying and you’re annoyed that you have to pretend you like him when you know he’ll be history in six months. It’s fine. You don’t need to justify your dislike.

saw a poll about dry/humid heat and like OBVIOUSLY everyone preferred dry heat but. would love to know what everyone considers to be “too hot”

i've been really bopping to i wanna feel calm by bears in trees. anything by bears in trees is really good, and i'd definitely reccomend then cause they've got a new album coming out in the next week or so, i think!

paul revere by noah kahan. if you wanna know my music taste, it really boils down to three different artists: bears in trees, noah kahan, and owl city.

owl city has dropped from favorite to third-favorite musician (sorry, bit and noah fit my tastes a bit more now) but his new song boston is such a nice lil tune.

too sweet by hozier. i'll be honest, i might have seen too many harvey from sdv tiktoks with this song, but HEY! it's a good song. hozier is also just really good. i really enjoy his songwriting skills. the words just word very well in hozier songs
