Spotify says Kim Yuna's new album is out and i think well maybe this is something to listen in the shower to as a break from the dark towering tonight

but it's not like i'm a fan, i suspect an album would be too much, all the previous ones have been

i think i first heard Kim Yuna in Mr. Sunshine's "Day Without Tears" (gawd what a misnomer, i still can't not tear up whenever i listen to that song, it's been six years ffs) but BUT it so happened that i watched Signal after MS and fell in love with "The Road" and somehow i didn't quite make the connection, so now when i think Kim Yuna i see Kim Hye Soo's face (it doesn't help that the cover of the single is her actual face)

i'm fangirling hard after Hyena and it mixes with all the previous fangirling it's like stars colliding

as a literal manifestation of that for example i'm thinking of that moment in Unexpected Business when Han Hyo Joo comes for her part time stint to the supermarket and asks Kim Hye Soo for a hug as a fan, and Hye Soo hugs her without a moment's hesitation, not recognizing her in a pandemic face mask, and as they hug over the counter, Hyo Joo's smiling eyes looking maybe in the camera or maybe at In Sung who notices that, sees her and grins, and i can't stop laughing and Hyo Joo pulls the mask down and says sunbaenim! and oh my god jagiya jagiya jagiya jagiya oh my god oppa oppa oppa oppa it all makes me so fucking happy
