This is the second time in 6 episodes that Superman is barely affected by kryptonite... we get it, you wanna assert that he's stronger than every other superhero (especially Supergirl because GOD FORBID that a woman is stronger than her male counterpart), but geez, chill down. If he's invincible even to kryptonite, then where's the challenge. Sometimes it's okay for heroes to lose or just struggle you know?

And I mean, I actually enjoy the show, I love Jonathan and I love Lois storyline, but come on.

I have a feeling that this Zor-El storyline will lead to Kara eventually leaving for good to live on Argo with both of her parents... I hope I'm wrong but I don't trust them anymore. I don't see other reasons for him to be alive otherwise.

Also, seeing the promo for the next episode, it very well seems like we were right and they're gonna ignore her trauma again in order to have some silly and unnecessary shenanigans at CatCo a la "season 2 Monel"...

The fact that they pay attention to stupid details, like kara's hairdo in the hologram (news flash: nobody cares that she had bangs when she recorded those, the wig is AWFUL) but literally forget their own timeline and continuity is astonishing

When you think they couldn't get more stupid... then tell me, Queller and Rovner, why did you show superman proposing to Lois in the Fortress when two seasons earlier you already showed Alex proposing to Maggie? We already had one proposal scene, it wasn't necessary, It was obvious she would have said yes. Or Kara telling Nia she's supergirl, she already told Winn and Lucy... OH MAYBE BECAUSE THEY ARE DIFFERENT CHARACTERS WITH DIFFERENT RELATIONSHIPS THAT ARE NOT DEFINED BY OTHER RELATIONSHIPS?

I miss cbs supergirl.

Sometimes I wonder what it would have been like if they never changed network. I know it probably would have meant no Lena, but also no Mon-el, no William, no Lex, no plotholes and incorrect timelines, no "kara has no trauma, all she needs is a male love interest". We would still have Cat. God, I miss Cat. And the Danvers sisters would still be the core of the show. And yes, Alex would probably be straight, but it's not like her realtionships are portrayed so well now... and Kara would probably be in a healthy marriage with James (or not, they DID say she gave off a sapphic vibe and also remember that Lucy comment 👀) but most importantly she would be happy, but she would also be free to be sad and angry when needed. I know that there are a lot of good scenes in season 2-5, but I think the cbs would have done a wonderful job in actually making the show about SUPERGIRL

I finally got to watch Superman & Lois and I am soooooo pissed. Because it's good, but it's a stand alone. It's clear this is what they wanted from the start, and that they don't care about what they built with supergirl and they never did. Was it so hard to include Kara in a way? You mean to tell me she didn't go to Martha's funeral? Or that she can't help her kinda nephew with social anxiety? And I know it's not easy to get Melissa, but a phone call? A simple "Aunt Kara called, she said hi" or "Kara couldn't make it, but she sent us flowers". I mean, superman is very much present in the supergirl show... but I guess that's the point, right?

I just desperately need the canon lesbians to stop trying to force Kara and William and actually get some gaydar and hone in on the SuperCorp vibes. Like I can almost give Alex a pass, she’s still kinda a baby and just very close to the situation as Kara’s sister, but come on Kelly. I just need a scene in S6 that’s like

Alex: I was trying to get Kara to talk about her date with William and she kept bringing up Lena.

Kelly: Uh-huh. And that doesn’t make you wonder?

Alex: Wonder what?

Kelly: Are you absolutely sure your sister is straight? Because I just get a vibe...

Alex: What vibe?

Kelly: Between her and Lena.

Alex: What between her and Lena?

Kelly: Oh my god, you cannot be serious. Oh, you are. Babe, are you blind?

*The next night, Nia and Brainy are over.*

Kelly: Nia, don’t you get a certain vibe from Kara and Lena?

Nia: Oh my god, I totally ship them.
