This is the upload of my new album "Broken". It's album #6 and I'm not sure if I will continue to release music as it led to nothing. However it was fun to create it, especially to jump from ambient and alternative piano tracks to sung songs which were a blend of Dance, Techno & Reggae or New Wave music but based on ambient tracks. „What you’re running from“ has its own story. First I’ve created this tune as a pure techno or dance and rave tune but then thought I would like to have some ambient touch in it. So I’ve made a second version but instead of pure ambient a blend of reggae and ambient style. Then I pondered about what version to release and asked friends who voted clearly for the reggae version. Finally I put those 2 versions together in one tune … just for the fun of it.

„All the pain in my soul“ is kind of an ambient or new age tune, it’s a lament of the soul. Found it was time to change style again. After including now a bunch of sung tunes into my upcoming album I simply took the curved to another direction. So the rest of the tunes will be kind of more experimental and ambient style I guess. But who knows as I make all just like spirit is floating through me. Well, at least it’s the plan as the album is in the making.

English: Join me on my ride with my old Yamaha XT 250 3Y3 on a small mountain called Haunsberg in the district of the Salzburger Land right across the border to the Berchtesgadener Land, Bavaria. We first cross the river Salzach and ride through the town of Oberndorf and after a short ride on the highway we take the road uphill to the summit of Mount Haunsberg. My Yamaha XT 250 3Y3 was first on the street in the year 1983 and I’ve bought it in the internet after a break of roughly 10 years I sold my last one besides of my Honda CB 500 Four and a Suzuki DR 500. So I’ve bought that Yamaha XT again end of 2017 and then refurbished it in 2018. Over the last 5 years I had a lot of fun riding it. It’s a wonderful day in Autumn, so life is good, enjoy :) ... Oh, if anyone has or knows about a big bore kit to 350 ccm let me know. Deutsch: Wir fahren mit meiner alten Yamaha XT 250 3Y3 auf einen kleinen Berg namens Haunsberg, gelegen im Salzburger Land jenseits der Grenze des Berchtesgadener Landes, Oberbayern. Zuerst überqueren wir den Fluss Salzach und fahren durch den Ort Oberndorf, nehmen dann aber nach einer kurzen Strecke auf der Bundesstraße die enge Landstraße zum Gipfel des Haunsbergs hoch. Meine Yamaha XT 250 3Y3 wurde erstmals 1983 zugelassen, erstanden habe ich sie im Internet 10 Jahre nachdem ich meine vorherige Yamaha XT neben meiner Honda CB 500 Four und einer Suzuki DR 500 verkauft habe. Diese Yamaha XT 250 3Y3 kaufte ich Ende 2017 und restaurierte sie in 2018. In den letzen 5 Jahren hat sie mir viel Freude gebracht. Es ist ein wunderbarer Tag im August um sich der Fahrt zu erfreuen. Falls jemand noch einen Big Bore Kit auf 350 ccm hat oder weiß, wo man ihn bekommen kann, lasst es mich wissen.

Röthbachfall (470m) & Obersee, Nationalpark Berchtesgaden

Deutsch: Wir starten mit dem ersten Schiff von Königssee aus über St. Bartholomä nach Salet, das am Ende vom Königssee im Nationalpark Berchtesgaden liegt. Von dort aus wandern wir zuerst zum Obersee und folgen dann auf der rechtsläufigen Seite den Pfad hinter in Richtung Saletalm. Am Ende des Obersees angekommen folgen wir dem Wegweiser zum Röthbachfall, der sich von einem Hochplateau aus über 470 Meter in die Tiefe ergießt. Wir könnten noch weiter hinauf zur Wasseralm gehen, aber das ist eine Tour für einen anderen Tag.

English: We take the first ship in Königssee which leaves the little port at 8 am and heading with it first to St. Bartholomae and continue to Salet, situated at the very end of Lake Königssee in the Nationalpark Berchtesgaden. Here we start our hike to Lake Obersee and follow the trail on the right sight of the lake in direction to the mountain hut Saletalm. At the end of Lake Obersee we see the sign which leads us to the waterfall „Röthbachfall“ which falls down over 470 meter from the plateau. From there we could hike further to the mountain hut Wasseralm, but that is a tour for another day.

2023-07-07 Halsalm (1210 m), Ramsau, Nationalpark Berchtesgaden

Deutsch: Vom Parkplatz Hirschbichl in der Ramsau führt uns unsere Wanderung zuerst ein Stück durch das Klausbachtal, dann biegen wir rechts ab auf den Kiesweg hinauf zur Halsalm, die auf 1210 Meter liegt. Der Weg führt uns auch zum Aussichtspunkt, an dem man mit Glück die neu angesiedelten Bartgeier beobachten kann, die ihren Horst in der südlichen Felswand der Reiter Alm (bzw. auch Reiter Alpe genannt) haben. Auf der Almwiese angekommen genießen wir den Ausblick sowohl auf die nördliche Wand der Mühlstürzhörner sowie auf die beeindruckende Felswand der Reiter Alm und hinunter zum Hintersee, wo der Blick hinein in die Ramsau und zum Hochkalter schweift, aber auch zum Berchtesgadener Hochthron auf dem Untersberg, dem Hohen Göll und zum Hohen Brett weit im Nordosten.

English: The parking place „Hirschbichl“ in the Ramsau is the starting point or our hike to the mountain hut „Halsalm“. First we follow the road through the Klausbachtal for roughly 400 meters and then turn right as we see the sign „Halsbachalm“ where a gravel road will lead us up to the mountain hut into an altitude of 1210 meters. The gravel road will also lead us to the observation point of bearded vultures (lammergeier) which were reintroduced into their natural habitat. This aerie or feeding ground is on the southern part of the steep wall of the mountain massif „Reiter Alm“ (also named Reiter Alpe). Not far later we finally reach the Alpine meadow and can savor the scenic view on the northern Wall of the „Mühlstürzhörner“ as to the impressive wall of the Reiter Alm and down into the valley with Lake Hintersee with a view deep into Ramsau but also over to Mount Hochkalter or to the „Berchtesgadener Hochthron on Mount Untersberg, Mount Hoher Göll and Hohes Brett in the distance.

Wir starten unsere Radtour auf dem Parkplatz Wachterl in der Ramsau unterhalb der Reiteralm. Der ausgebaute Kiesweg hinauf zur Anthauptenalm und weiter zum Vogelspitz (1285 m) beginnt nur rund 50 Meter unterhalb des Parkplatzes auf der anderen Seite der Alpenstraße. Zu Fuß geht man wohl rund 2 1/2 Stunden, aber die Strecke wird zumeist von e-Bikern benutzt. Der Kiesweg schlängelt sich oberhalb des Tales stetig nach oben, wobei man weite Strecken direkt neben dem Abgrund fährt und deshalb einen guten Blick sowohl auf die Reiteralm sowie dann hinaus Richtung Lofer hat. Auf dem Hochplateau angekommen geht es erstmals bergab bevor man über eine wunderschöne weite Wiese fährt. An deren Ende lassen wir unsere Räder stehen und gehen weiter zum Vogelspitz. Dort angekommen eröffnet sich uns ein wunderschönes Panorama auf die umgebenden Berge der östlichen Chiemgauer Alpen sowie hinein in die Loferer Steinberge und auch der Wilde Kaiser lässt sich im Südwesten am Horizont ausmachen.

English: Our tour begins at the parking place at Wachtel in the Ramsau, district Berchtesgadener Land, Bavaria, right below the Mountain Reiteralm. The gravel road up to the hut Anthauptenalm and further to the summit of Mount Vogelspitz (1285 m) starts roughly 50 meters below of the parking place ant the other side of the highway Alpenstraße. It would take around 2 1/2 hours for hikers but the whole route is mostly used by e-bikers. The gravel road goes above the canyon and leads us steady upwards, whereby  a big part of the distance is placed directly by the abyss and let us have a free view to Mount Reiteralm or out of the valley to Lofer, Austria. On the plateau we first ride a little down before we come to a wide open mountain meadow with uncountable flowers. We leave our bikes at the end of that area and hike up to the summit of Mount Vogelspitz. There we get a stunning view of the mountain scape of the eastern Chiemgauer Alps as well to the massif of the Loferer Steinberge and in the distance we also can see the Mountain Wilder Kaiser.
