Really any Pokemon can be a house pet if they're in the mood for it. Storm looks like she's perfectly fine just relaxing at home instead of going into battle.

Really? Oh, that's wonderful! I was very worried I'd have to either watch her get hurt or give her away. And I hate both of those ideas. I have rather quickly become very, very attached to her. Thank you so much for telling me this, I was beside myself for a moment there.

Not all Pokemon have to be raised to fight. Some can be just house pets, it all depends on the Pokemon!

Oh, thank the Goddess. I already sort of knew that, but it sure is nice to have confirmation. I'm admit I've been a little stressed out about all this.

But could Storm be a house pet? Or is she not the right type of Pokémon for that? I'll admit I have no idea what I'm doing. I want to do what's best for her, but I don't think I could stomach watching her fight something or someone. She's just far too cute to be in battle.

Whoa whoa calm down! Does Fodlan have any curry recipes? Because I hear Pokemon love that. Besides, Storm is catlike and catlike Pokemon mostly are fine with the same care as normal cats. (mutters to self, unlike the living ice cream, rocks or sludge) As for the electricity, do any of the professors at Garreg Mach know how to deal with cats? Thunder is a reason spell so there might be something to keep Storm in check

Curry? What an odd thing for a magic animal to like. I'm sure I can find some recipes, though. Although I will not be able to cook them myself, I will make sure to notify my staff to make curry for Storm. (It's certainly not the oddest thing I've had to ask them to do)

As for people at Garreg Mach, I'm sure there are lots of people who know how to care for cats. Especially since there are so many of them wandering around the monastery. Someone has to take care of them, right?

Actually, I bet Rodrigue knows something about it, I'll ask him. Thank you for your advice. Now... To find a curry recipe.

Oh. Alright. I- I suppose that's not that bad, hopefully. Though I would rather not be shocked full of electricity, I suppose it wouldn't kill me. And Storm does need a home. And she's cute. (I'm still a bit nervous, though) But, it's not like I'm going to hand her over. I wouldn't know if she would be in good hands, or if someone might get hurt, and she's cute. I suppose I will just have to learn everything I can.

Relax, it’s no different from reason magic, with certain Pokémon being capable of things like Fire, Blizzard, Wind and Thunder. Storm can learn thunder and no crests don’t exist in Pokémon. They kinda have a tendency to want to prove themselves and wild Pokémon tend to challenge other Pokémon and trainers so it’s not really a forced thing they just went along with the nature of Pokémon and do things to help them grow stronger and in some cases evolve

I- ...see. I'm inclined to believe you, it's just- I can't help but find that hard to believe. Many animals have territorial or mating disputes natirally, but it is still seen as cruel to have them do so by human hands. I- Hmm, I'll just have to look into it, I suppose. But thank you for trying to ease my mind a little.

A Pokémon is an animal with superpowers. Some merely keep them as pets, while others train them to hone those powers for battle.

They have magical powers?! What kind of powers?! Like the Crests, or even crazier? And why would someone use possible pet's as battle weapons?! I- I suppose it is not so different from the horses we ride into battle. But it sounds like some people use them as weapons. Is that not just a version of dog fighting?! That's abhorrent.

Though I suppose I shouldn't be surprised. If they have magical powers, then of course people would harvest that power for fighting. But it still seems so inhumane... Well, I know for sure that I would never do that to a Pokémon if I had one.

When was the first time you met Dedue? What was your first impression of him?

Ah, good question. I first met Dedue a little after I started answering everyone's questions here. I cannot recall when, exactly, but it was several moons ago. As for my first impression, well, I'll admit I was already inclined to believe the highest of him. Dimitri had talked to me at length about how kind, loyal, and caring the man was. So it was hard for me to have a bad impression, as I had already heard many good things.

Though I suppose I did notice how quiet he was, and how little he seemed to socialize with others. Of course, I hardly had a problem with this, it was mostly just an observation. Of course this was also right around the time I learned of the atrocities committed by my people against those from Duscur. So it didn't really surprised me that he was quiet and reserved, as I knew that my people still didn't treat those of his heritage kindly.

Well, either way, I think nothing bad of him now. Any person important to Dimitri is important to me as well. He seems to be a very good person, and I'm happy that he and Dimitri are close.

It- It was not funny! Well... Perhaps it may be funny now, but it was not at the time! I- Look, it does not matter, anymore. And it's none of your business! And- and- ...*sigh* Fine. I have this feeling that if I don't tell you, you will pester me forever.

...I set the East Wing of Fraldarius Manor on fire... Or, at the time, it had been Rodrigue's room. I-I had underestimated the amount of damage a failed white magic spell could do, so, stupidly, I decided there was no need to go outside to try. And that obviously was a terrible mistake, and I accidentally set fire to one of Rodrigue's wardrobes, and it spread all over his room.

The repairs cost a fortune! I mean, Rodrigue and I both got out very quickly, and nobody was harmed, and the repairs cost next to nothing next to the full fortune of the Fraldarius family... And I payed Rodrigue back after I assumed the throne... But, still! It could have been a truly horrible thing! Lives could have been lost! Which is why it really is not funny!

...Ahem, either way, I'm rather embarrassed and guilty about the whole incident, so I would rather if you didn't bring it up!
