This is something a few people know about this already but I'm doing a storyboard project that more or less retells some of the concept of WiR 2 but in a way that actually, you know, connects with the themes of the first movie and actually INVOLVES the characters we want to see rather than tossing them under the bus.

I know this is just one of many 'let's redo this!' type of things but rather than just doing a flat out story, I wanted to do something in my line of interest which is, well, story boarding. As of this point I'm about 70% complete with the initial script but I still need voice actors as well as some critique on the story itself.

I saw Wreck-it Ralph 2 and I need to say it... I didn't like it. Sure, some scenes were good, but... perhaps instead of a movie, there should have been something like a Tv series in which the various stories of the arcade characters are shown. Also, for some strange reason, I am starting to ship Vanellope with Bowser Junior in an AU in which Vanellope had never went Turbo. The fandom sometimes has better ideas than the actual crew. Do you believe that it would have been better like this? Thanks.

And yes, a series would have worked better since, even if the format per episode is shorter, it would have allowed for a better way to actually explore the characters over a course of time rather than dumping all that shit into an about 90 min movie.
