((ooc: heh besides being busy with an application, I've been in a rut with the Kamek blog...admittedly I was already a bit tense because of the strike/rebellion, but I didn't realize why it was bugging me so much until a friend reminded me of the last time I was in an RP/ask blog fandom before...people started making asks and AU headcanons that involved Le Mis the musical, and it led to other things and just...ruined all the fun for me for that ask blog...but now that the strike/rebellion/Le Mis stuff is over, I'll be more motivated? Heh I can make no promises >>;;

Most libraries in the Koopa Kingdom do not have rules as strict as the Royal Library--then again, most libraries don't contain precious and rare literature and writings that date back to the beginning of written history for the Koopa race. It's the Royal Library after all.

There are plenty of seating and study areas throughout the library...but by the phrasing of your question, I assume you are not actually intending on locating a good study area. There are plenty of closets elsewhere in the castle for whatever tryst you have planned.

Hey magic advisor...Kamek! The fires of rebellion are climbing high in your lord's kingdom. Have you taken special measures to guard the library?

The library has temporarily been relocated to a safe location. My apologizes, but citizens will only be able to access books and archives that are available on the Royal Library website. Only curators of the library such as myself are privy to the current location of the library.

A relocation spell of that magnitude really drains a person, thus my absence while I rested.

Ever worked with Professor Gadd? How well does your magic integrate with science and technology?

Yeah….I’ve worked with Elvin before…that was back when I was earning my masters in mechanical engineering at Mushroom University.

It was during a period of great conflict and strife between the Mushroom and Koopa Kingdoms, and thus Elvin’s optimism and enthusiasm caused me to act very bitterly towards him…I regret my actions towards him as a young man, although I don’t think it phased him at all. We haven’t spoken since earning our degrees way back when, however…

Magic…science…technology…not only does it blend quite well together, but most devices today in the Koopa Kingdom have a degree of magical properties. Magic is very prevalent everywhere in our society.
